Chapter 1 - Chapter I (Mysterious Meet up)

Chapter 1 (The meet up)

A knock in the door awaken Kianna Lee from her deep sleep. She managed to get up and looked at her phone. It was still twelve forthy in the evening.

"Arrgg! Who the hell is knocking at my door at this hour?"

Trying to put her white blanket she moved from her queen size bed and reached for her sandals. The room was dim. She moved towards the living room, the books that she read last night were on the table left scanned and her laptop still opened.

She remembered she forgot to close it and realized she was knocked down at her bed.

"Ah" she shook her head with the thought. "Who could it be at this hour. Wait?" She asked her self. The bell continued to rang. She looked at the monitor and found none. Taking a deep sigh she held the door and opened it. No one. Nobody was in the hallway.

"Maybe I'm just delusional or could it be a dream?" She shook her head with the thought. She moved back, upon stepping her foot back the second knock collided on the door.

She looked at the monitor but no one. In the back of her mind, she had this worrying thought. Could it be a stalker? Or could it be rapist? She herself has the tendency to have a panick attack. She begun to tremble and without a warning a knife came accross inside her head. She ran towards her kitchen counter and opened the drawer where she hid her cooking knives. She knew she over reacted but she couldn't control herself.

Reaching the door, the knock still continued. Kianna touched the knob and slowly by slowly opened the door. It cracked opened and Kianna couldn't believe the person in front of her eyes.

In front of her, is young gorgeous man probably in his early twenties brown hair and eyes were as brown as dark chocolate staring at her in his black coat.

She nagged her self, for bringing a knife. But she realized the boy seemed so unfamiliar.

"Is there anything I can help you with?" She put a dry shaky smile in her face, she knew this young man was a little bit drunk.

The young man just smiled at her and stared.

She felt anxious. Looking down the floor she was too stunned to move and close the door. She felt that if she got any closer to this stranger maybe something would happen to her.

"It seems that your lost. Where's your unit?" She asked him while staring at the young man face. But he didn't answered. She begun to play safe.

"Ahm since you wouldn't say anything, I think you have to go home now. It's already late in the evening." Smiling at him but inside her, were trembling. This young man is a little bit scary. She wouldn't answer me either.

Kianna waved her hand and when she was about to close the door a gentle voice sounded over.

"Do you know know where this person lives?" She slowly reached the picture that the young man handed. His eyes were about to cry. She took a deep sigh, she felt sorry for what she just acted towards him. She could be a help. But why at this hour? She realized.

She looked closely to the picture. A boy and a girl holding each others hand and there' s a man in his early thirties wearing a blue t-shirt. The place in the photograph was quite familiar to her. The boy probably him, she thought.

Upon studying the picture, an image in her head formed. Then she realized it was her friend's father. Jhonny Kim.

"Yeah I know this man" she pointed the man in a blue t-shirt.

"He's my friend's father. May I know why you are asking where he lives?" Then she realized she doesn't have the right to ask that question.

"He's my...my best friend father too, do you know where they live?" She frowned for a while. She never thought Yoora Kim would a have a childhood best friend, all she knew Yoora had a brother.

"Well, they just moved last weekend, I really don't know where they moved but I can give you her number" This guy probably from somewhere else or either not from here, he seemed so new to her. She bet.

"How were you able to find my place?" she asked the question because she couldn't help her curiousity out of it.

"I thougth they still live here, but I was shocked that this placed was taken by someone else already." He explained it her very clearly. His voice was a little bit shaky.

"Ahh...yeah I moved her last week too since Yoora wanted me to stay in this house." He nodded.

"Okay, so may I have her number?" Kianna has a second thought about it. Would she give Yoora's number to this guy whom she just met.

She nodded. "But may I know your name first, so when I'll talk to Yoora I could tell her about you?"

"Chun Min" Kianna stared at him for a minute. She found his name very familiar but when did she heard it.

"Chun Min.." she repeated. She tried not to stare at his face while she mentioned his name. In her mind still his name was very familiar. She typed Yoora's number in his phone. When she was about to hand him his phone back.

The deafening silence shattered when she heard the words came out from his mouth.

"Thank you Kianna Lee" She was completely shocked upon hearing her name and left speechless as Chun Min paced toward and shook her hand.

She was unmoved when he begun to smile at her and then walked away. She couldn't even utter a single word when he just mentioned her name.

"Why? How did he know me?" She asked herself.

"Wait!" She heard herself shouting to the man in front of her.

The young man slowly looked behind his shoulder and saw this unforgettable woman in front of him, confused and wondering how on earth did he know her name.

He smiled at her, waved his hand and she had lost sight of him.

Kianna was still in the state of shock. She was frozen, left standing infront of her door not uttering any words instead trying to digest what had just happened.

Closing the door. She called Yoora. She paced toward her kitchen, getting a bottle of water from the fridge. The chill spread down her throat. She wondered what Yoora was up to. She was reluctant with what had just happened and knowing that the young man whom knocking in her door at this hour knew who she was.

"Why? I really don't have any idea how he knew me and who he was?"

The phone kept ringing on the other line. But, Yoora didn't picked up the call. Three times she attempted to contact her but she didn't answer.

"I'll just talk to her next time." She gazed towards her bed and fell asleep.

Kianna woke up and couldn't remember what happened last night all she could think was that someone was knocking on her door.

The streets were too busy, Kianna Lee had a long way to run. She managed to grab a sandwitch in her kitchen counter and poured a glass of milk and took a sip. She gulped the last drop of it. She paced towards the mirror and saw herself well-dressed with her Uniform. She thought that this day would be great. Every single day she manages to have self affirmations, telling herself everyday that she has a great day indeed.

She closed her apartment when she left and hold her leather black bag. The view outside her apartment were quite charming though streets were a little bit bustling. The rustling wind kissed her cheeks, this day is way too warm and relaxing, she thought. She begun to move her gaze towards the elevator and moved towards there as faster as she can. She is the kind of person that doesn't want to share the elevator with anyone else. Entering that elevator she hummed her favorite song that eases her stress away.

She managed to pressed the button towards the parking lot when the door is about to close a hand stopped it without any hesitation. A young man in a black coat entered without any noise. He looked like a young hearttrob from a show. The young man held his headset. He was quite good looking she thought. She just can't hold it, she glanced at her shoulder. Next to her, a tall figured man, white skin and dark brown eyes. He has this well defined face that probably captured one's attention. He is deadly gorgeous she thought. Kianna shook her head with the thought. She realized she never had the chance to escape the elevator. Usually she tend to move out when someone gets in the elevator. Yet this time, she didn't know why.

The atmosphere was way too heavy. She observed the man from head to toe. She couldn't comprehend the attitudes of young people these days. She stopped staring when the man suddenly caught her eyes. She just smiled at him.

What did I just do? How pathethic I am.

She scolded herself. She looked liked a hippie who had just been kicked at the corner of the elevator. The deafening silence broke with the ding sounded over. She run towards the entrance and walked without a trail liked a caged animal who had just escaped. She just can't hold it anymore. She took a deep inhale and headed toward her SUV. She glanced at the mirror to see whether the young man moved out or not.

Kianna didn't know why, but she felt disappointed not seeing the guy clearly. When she was getting in the car she bumped her head so hard against it. "Oh! c'mon I don't want to have a bad day." She rubbed her forehead.

Before she closed the door "Wait!" She looked back.

"Hey! Miss!" The voice was familiar to her ear. Kianna looked at the person calling her informally. In front of her was the young man with a pen in his hand. She stared at the pen and wondered whether it's her or not. She didn't know why but she wanted to talked to him. He seemed familiar she thought now that she was facing with him very closely. I think I saw him. When?

"Yeah, I am sorry?...ah yeah the pen oh yeah. Thanks." She didn't know why she started to mumble but she just can't talk clearly in front of this guy.

She grabbed the pen but still unsure whether its her or not but she was thinking it's her. She hopes, she owned it.

The young man smiled at her and now she's done. She had nothing to do but to stare at this gorgeous creature in front of her.

"Thank you for finding my pen."

"Next time be mindful over things that is too important for you. It's hard if you're forget things easily" the young man stated and begun to walk away.

"Thank you again!" She felt scolded. Woah how did a high schooler reprimanded her like that.

"Hey, I'm a teacher" she said. She started the engine and drove her car. She took a glance at her side mirror as the young man was out of her sight.

"He's familiar, I'm sure I met him before?"she stated while making her way to Seoul National University. The streets were too busy, busses sounded over and numerous commuters waited at the bus stop. Some of them where high schoolers. She smiled at her high school memory. Kianna used to ride her bicycle at school and never had a hard time paying fair. She saved a lot of money to earn her degree. She was awaken by thought when she heard her phone ringing inside her bag. She reached for it and found it was her mom.

"Mom , how is it going?" she heard her deep gentle voice next on the line.

"I'm okay, I really enjoyed Jeju. Anyway, I called your dad. He told me to arrange a date for you." she chuckled.

"You're too old enough already." She played joked to her. She laughed at her and smiled while picturing the captivating smile of her mom inside her mind.

"Date? Mom! Hahahaha okay don't worry I'll give you a grand daughter soon" she played along knowing that her mom just missed her that much especially negotiating this kind of topic.

"Kianna, remember to eat your lunch okay." She reminded her. Kianna almost reached the school. She turned her wheels to have a perfect park in the parking lot.

"Copy that. Mom I have to go. Call me when you needed me. Tell Dad to not worry so much okay" she got her bag.

"Okay. Keep safe always." "I will" she ended the call and jumped from her car. She looked at the school. Students were running out of time some were chithatting atthe bench and Yoora Kim was walking towards her.

"Good morning Professor Lee! How's your morning?" She smiled and her face was blooming as always.

"I bumped into a gorgeous stranger this morning. Isn't it interesting?" she joked around. I know she would buy her jokes.

"Is he handsome?" Yoora excitedly asked the question while heading to the faculty room.

"Why?" Kianna asked while rising her right eyebrow and eyeing Yoora. She looked at her with admiration. Yoora was just too cute to be a teacher. She's like a high schooler.

"Tell me, tell me. Is he?" Kianna proceed to her desk and opened her monitor. She smiled while Jenny didn't stop asking her.

"I told you he's deadly gorgeous but looked like an 11th grade." She laugh at her reaction. She couldn't stop laughing when she just returned to her seat and losing her interest.

"Got ya, but why did you call last night. Something happened?" Yoora asked.

Kianna straightened up and looked at Yoora with curiousity.

"Wait, did I call you last night? Why?" She ran her fingers through her head.

"Yes, you did! You even called me three times" said Yoora.

She laughed. "Oh c'mon Yoora I know you. Did I? Really?" She wondered and couldn't remember whether she really called her last night.

"You didn't?" Kianna shook her head and then remembered someone knocking her door.

"Last night, someone was knocking on my door but I couldn't remember what happned next."

"Woah! Your too old enough already Kianna. You have to find boyfriend already. You just went to Europe and now you forgetting things." Yoora joked around.

But the more she remembered the more her head spinned.

"Professor Lee!" Jackson Park called her at the back. He looked like a middle aged man with his eye glasses. He had masculine body that matched his black suit.

"Good morning Professor Park" she smiled. She knew something is urgent especially that her name is being called. He approached her while handing a pile of papers.

"The director asked you to check on these documents. This contains your students personal information. He said you must put additional records on it since your handling psychology class and foreign language with them. I think it would be better if you'll undergo student's evaluation" she nodded but frown her forehead. She thought is it necessary.

"You know, I think I'll need to tell my students about this"

"I don't think the director would agree on that. This is very confidential and taking safety measures is a must." He further explained while his arms crossed and face still unconvinced.

"May I talk to the director?" she asked while scanning the papers.

"He's on a meeting" she took a deep sigh knowing that she needs to verfiy and clarify the information"

"I just need to talk to him after his seminar."she walked away. She knew the more she persist the more he insist. That's how he is.

Kianna sighed in exasperation. She glanced at Yoora and smiled and gestured towards the session hall.

The class were too loud. Students were busy talking with their friends. Some were busy scanning their laptops and reading some text.

"Eunwoo, please correct my sentences" The girl in white shirt said.

"Hey do you know that the new professor for language literature and foreign language is a newbie. Some said they haven't saw her here last year" said Kenth. He was majoring language and literature.

"Really? That's cool!" Eunwoo claimed.

"Do you know some said she was deadly gorgeous, she's from the state but on her thirties?" The girl next to Eunwoo stated.

"Hmmm... I think she's not so experienced" The girls around them replied and chuckled.

"No, I heard she taught here for almost five years but last year she went for an exchange teaching somewhere in Europe."

 "She's cool"

They were on silence when a man in black entered the session hall. The girl were murmuring how attractive and gorgeous he is. He was silent and never took a glance.

"Do you know who's that guy?"said Eunwoo.

"He is handsome" the girl in sunglasses stated.

"Not so" Kenth claimed

"Well, I certainly noticed it. You must be blind or something besides you won't agree with me since your a man. It would be awkward if you say so" the girls chuckled.

Eunwoo silently agreed and wished, the he would look as good as the young man in black. He was good looking too and even his sister would agree on that. Sometimes he even asked her sister's bestfriend Kianna to confirm if he is. He laughed at the thought.

He looked at the man in black and he was caught staring at him. He looked away. He realized that he is way too familiar to him.

"You know what, most guys would look awkward wearing an earing in their ears but that guy seemed perfectly natural" Eunwoo heard the girl in white next to Kenth.

He took a deep sigh with the thought.

Suddenly, a slender and good looking woman entered the room in her uniform. The class were comletely noisy it seemed that no one seemed to notice her presence except Eunwoo who was completly surprise.

"How comes she's here, I thought she's still in Cambridge." Kenth noticed him uttering.

"What are you saying, she? Do you like someone here?" Eunwoo just speechless and couldn't believe what he just saw. The girl she was looking up was in front of the class. Kenth noticed him staring at the woman in uniform infront of them.

He was blown away by her charisma.

Kianna didn't utter a single word. She connected her laptop to the projector and wait until the class would notice her.

Eunwoo was the first person to notice her.

"Good morning Professor Lee." He stated and smiled in greetings, which for some reason surprised the whole class. The class were awed by her presence.

"She's young" said the man in left.

"Is she a newbie? But why does Eunwoo knew her?" The girl next to Kenth stated.

"No, she's the one we are talking before"

The girls just nodded.

Eunwoo was happy to see Kianna with sparkle in her eyes.

"It seemed that you were all surprise." Kianna chuckled.

"Well, I am Professor Kianna Lee and I will be your language and literature teacher. Feel free to ask some questions and let's get to know each other." She held the lapel and smiled at her students. She scanned her rooms found her students in their complete curiousity.

"Anyways, I'm very much excited to know you all and if you wish to know me you can ask questions. So to introduced myself I am not a newbie as you think I am I hope that would answer all the question you had on your faces. I was teaching here for the last three years and I've been to Cambridge University as an exchange teacher there for two years. I have been teaching Psychology, foreign language and literature. So if you have questions with all of those. Feel free ."

She paced towards the aisle. While getting familiar with her students. She noticed the young man in black right next to the corner sitting. She then realized he was the young man in the elevator. She didn't expect he was her student. She thought he was a high schooler.

She went back in front of the class and started the roll call, and suddenly she noticed one of the familiar face. She smiled at Eunwoo, she knew he was completely shocked seeing her standing as his professor.

"Choi Min" suddenly the young man in black answered. All eyes were set on him staring like he was a super star in their eyes. He was looking at her coldly. Their eyes were locked for second and then she shook her head. She didn't know why but the way he looked at her skip a beat in her heart. He was really familiar. They then looked away from each other.

"Well, it's good to hear that no one is absent on your first day. Keep it up class and I believe you'll learn from it. "

Kianna then faced them and read a short phrase in literature.

"Never try to refute that little voice deep inside you that urges you to follow your dreams "

"Now since this is a language and literature class you are expected to be all a linguist, poet and even an author on your own. Utimately, an author on your own life." Kianna started the class with a simple quotations that let them reflect and realized the path they are taking.

Students in front usually raise their hands. Questions were thrown and answers were given. There was an engaging discussion between the class.

"Now, the quote I have given you has something to do with yourselves. Try to listen the voice inside you, open that heart and discover how beautiful life has to offer you. You can be your own author, so make sure to live that life without regrets." The class were nodding their heads as she wrapped up the discussion. Her students were very focused while she was talking.

At middle of announcement , Eunwoo raised his hand.

"Yes, Eunwoo" the class were a litlle bit shocked how she managed to memorized names so quickly.

"Do you think it is possible for me to get that dream even though I knew it wouldn't be that easy?" She smiled at his question. Kianna noticed the girl in white smirked at her. She just let it pass.

"Well, it always start within you. If you believe in your heart that you are meant to live a life you are wanting for, possibly full of passion, magic or miracles. Believe it is possible and it will happen" she plainly said that.

"Did I answer your question, Eunwoo Kim?"she looked at him. And he nodded.

"Well that's good to hear-"

"How would you let us believe, when we hated ourselves from the start?" the class turned their heads towards the silent gorgeous young man in the corner. Everyone was left speechless. She moved her head towards him. His eyes were completely locked at her gaze. They were commnunicating to each other in a silent way.

What are you trying to say? She asked silently inside her head. Sadness formed in his eyes and she can read that.

She looked away and stared at him completely drown to his attention.

"I believe that we all had our own reason hating ourselves sometimes, but hating isn't the end. And trying to believe within yourself isn't too late. Day by day we live in a life were we sometimes completly mess up ended up blaming and blaming ourselves. But life doesn't stop there, it continues. If you are in doubt about yourself, take a deep breath and remember you will not feel this way forever."

Everyone turned to looked at her. But her attention was too focused to him.

Choi Min looked away and smirked at her. He is mysterious. She realized this person has been carrying heavy load and that's a mystery to her.

"I hope you all learn from that." Following Kianna's eyes, Choi Min looked at her as she read some announcements.

They exchanged glances.

"What's with that man?" Kenth said.

"Is he tring to put on something" he added.

"Hey, Kenth don't say that" said Ella Jung, the white shirt girl.

Before Kianna adjourned the class, she gave assignments to them and that's writing things they hated and liked the most about themselves. She knew she need to know this to find information about her students to evaulate them.

"You can express this through verse or free verse poetry and prose."

"I believe she loves confessions in writing" said Kenth to her collegues.

"I'll be collecting that on our third meeting. She said, emphasizing each word.

The class agreed with her.

She ended the class and before they all leave she stole a glance to Choi Min who walked right next to her without even saying goodbye.

"He's too cold"she expressed her thoughts. Kianna watched him go. She turned towards her laptop and didn't bother her students went out without notice.

Going back to the office, Yoora Kim gave her a cup of coffee. She put down the coffee on Kianna's table and laid a hand on her forearm.

"How was your class?"she couldn't figure out why but Yoora always like this. She always asked her how she's going and she liked it.

"I don't think it was bad. " Yoora laughed with her statement. Kianna leant back in her seat , her eyes wide.

"What?" She aksed her. "I'm sorry," Yoora continously laughed at her.

"I didn't mean to luagh at you it was just funny. I believe you were too shocked to watch him there sitting in your class." Yoora is referring to Eunwoo. Kianna remembered how surprised Eunwoo was seeing her in front of the class and as his professor.

"That's not fair" she claimed. But Yoora won't just stop teasing her.

"Oh, you're accusing me of something, Kianna. I didn't mean anything" Yoora chuckled. She knew Kianna was annoyed.

"Anyways, you've changed a lot you became more stunning and far more attractive than before I do hope you'll captivate his eyes" She teases her again. Kianna's expressioned brightened.

"Stop it Yoora, it's nonsense" she can't hold it anymore. She knew that Yoora is referring to her brother Eunwoo. Eunwoo has always been with her since the beginning. It was hard to imagine there never a time that Eunwoo wouldn't be around with her since her high school. Instead of asking Yoora about his homework he run to Kianna and kept asking for help, even the way he looks, how he can attract his crush, everything. In turn, she had tolerated his behaviour towards her until Eunwoo went to the Senior High school and she went to University. Things had been quite different since then. She became associatives with the poeple surrounds her and Eunwoo had been working hard. They barely saw each other until such time, Eunwoo started visiting her more often in the University she had been up to, it was the only time they felt awkward from each other. They become slow to talk and walk as if they haven't seen themselves for a decade. She could even remember how funny he was, how he would play joke around. Until she realized he was into her.

Admittedly Kianna didn't want that relationship to happen since she looked at him as her younger brother. Other than telling him how she feels towards him, she played jokes towards him and acted as older sister not wanting to break the relationship they had build. But, things were beginning to get crazy out of hand until she found herself falling into him.

They had a good relationship at first, but she couldn't find it mature and both of them were too scared to get caught and made Yoora disappointed until she started teaching in Seoul National University and he started College. Things went crazy and everything seemed not focused and they both considered each situation and lasted their relationship for 3 years. They both decided to stay as friends.

All these years later, it was easy for the two of them to watch each other. Kianna would never admit she still liked him, but she firmly believed that their relationship as friends would last long of they continue this way.

She pulled herself to her feet, and stumbled from her chair. In the silent atmosphere, she walked down the hallway leaving Yoora in the faculty room and went to the Director's office to meet the Director Taejoon Hyun. She walked down to the right side entrance. She walked past the offices of Textiles, Merchandising and Fashion Design Department, fine arts department and walked into the Director's office.

She looked toward the far end of the room. At the end of the table, sitting like a great political man, brown hair in his forties was Director Taejoon Hyun. Director Hyun has big brown eyes, a very neat necktie and well-dressed with his coat on it.

She heard him talking on the line with probably someone so important. She heard his voice a loud voice. "Okay, I'll take on that. Alright." Then the call ended. Kianna turned her head aways as soon as Director Hyun focused his attention to her presence in the hope Director Hyun wouldn't take things wrongly.

"Good morning Director" she greeted him with a warm smile.

"Yes Professor Lee, please have a seat." She sit on the sofa comfortably. She made sure she turned her phone off.

"You didn't hear any of that, did you?"Director Hyun assured her with that while showing a smile to her.

She shook her head and smiled.

"Well, that's better. So what can I do for you?" He asked while taking a sip in his cold iced tea.

" 'Um it's all about the papers Professor Park had given me earlier. I believe it would be convenienced if we tell students regarding the information. I'll take safety measures on it and I believe they have the rights to know why we are doing this." She managed to explain to Director Hyun. She knew this would be a little tough for the both of them. Gathering data and personal information without student's consent is against the protocol and Professor Park told her not to inform students which led her to negate with the circumstances.

"Well, anyways I believe not telling them is a great help that we are gathering data about themselves to clearly observes them without them knowing."He said.

"But Director Hyun..."He suddenly looked awkward. He pushed the sleeves further in his arms

"What about it? Don't you like having a new way in getting personal information from the students?" Wrenching her gaze away, she glanced at him and found him having a questioning looks.

"Well, I think Director to avoid questions from the students it would be better if well tell them, rather than..."

"Rather than..what? He cut her off. She thought about the question.

"But Director Hyun" He smiled at her.

He laughed at her. "Professor Lee, I was on the verge suggesting it anyway, and here you are opposing with my suggestion. Anyways, I'll think about it. Don't worry about it for now on" he smiled assuring her not to worry and things will be settled as soon as possible.

"Not like I had a choice" she said.

"Anyways, how was Cambridge? It's really good to have you back here." He smiled and raised his glasses.

"Um' it was good but I love Korea more. I tried not to be sick but I'm craving for Korean food." She proclaimed and they both laughed at each other. Director Hyun was not only his superior but her Uncle herself.

They exchanged a brief words and with that she left his office.

She met up Yoora at the parking lot. The gloomy aura of Yoora brightens her mood after a long day. She run towards her and opened her SUV.

"Mind to hop in your car, I would just like to have a good time with you this evening." Yoora claimed. Kianna knew she likes drinking and having two or three bottles of soju eases her tiring day.

"Okay, let's go!" Kianna said. She was to excited to have a dinner with Yoora to for a long time. She started the engine and started driving. They were laughing as soon as she make a u-turn.

"Anyways, would you mind if I'll cook for you tonight. Dad would really love to see you. We can bring drinks at home." She begged her. Kiana was still focused on her driving and made a small smiling face. She knew she couldn't say no when Yoora talks about her dad.

"What would you like to cook for me then? I miss your dishes. Do you have rice cakes?"

"Okay, okay don't worry I'll cook everything for you" Yoora said.

"Ah, I'm excited" she exclaimed. No matter how she denied it, when it comes to food she couldn't hold her excitement.

"Hey, talking about Eunwoo did you two talk already?" Yoora asked her again. This time she's serious.

Kianna looked at her. She thought about what had just happened earlier and how surprised Eunwoo was, seeing her in the front.

"Seriously? What's with that question. But, I think we both know we had to set boundaries and besides we've discussed it already. Besides it's been two years since the last time we checked each other knowing that it's for our own good" Yoora gazed at her.

"You know what I really like about you. Ypi're so frank."

"Hahahaha.. don't be so ridiculous Yoora."

"So what are we gonna eat tonight?" She changed the subject. Yoora looked at her with amusement. Kianna just smiled and looked at her.

"We'll have ramen and home made mustard kimchi." Hearing kimchi made her heart beat. Kianna loves kimchi. She usually made kimchi herself. Knowing that she was very independent, cooking was her habit when she felt anxious. She's a good cook and she mesmerized cleanliness in her kitchen.

Two minutes later they arrived at Yoora's place. They both walked down the gate and made themselves entered. Yoora's place looked extravagant. Kianna glanced around and found pictures on the table. It was the three of them with Yoora's brother Eunwoo. They had the picture when Eunwoo graduated from Hign school.

Kianna stood in the middle of the living room while Yoora headed to her bedroom and took her leather bag with her. There was a pair of man's running shoes on the cabinet and Kianna knew its Eunwoo's belongings. On the cabinet near the picture was the camera. It's her camera. She smiled how Yoora took care of her gift.

She put her bag on the table. She dreamed living with Yoora especially having this comfortable atmosphere where she could freely talk and just be herself, no pretend at all. Seeing her as she is, was always her dream. She always wanted that people saw her the way she see herself. Genuity is her dream.

She observed the room, the house was pretty different than the house they had before where she is currently staying. The walls was painted with pastel color, the carpet was something deep and plush. The painting were very aesthetic.

"It's fascinating" Kianna told Yoora as soon as she went out from her room dressed up with her comfortable oversized t-shirt and pajamas.

"How did you find this place?"

"How I got the house doesn't matter, but Dad bought this and I'm happy." Yoora exclaimed

"And you're staying here alone?"she asked her.

"No! Dad and my brother stay here with me, Dad will be here later." She was thrilled.

"What's with that expression?" She asked. Oh c'mon this girl has something on her mind. She thought.

"Are you expecting someone to come here tonight?"

"Hey! Noway!"

Then suddenly, the door opened. A gentle voice echoed in the room.

"Yoora, I have something to tell you..." and he was unable to complete his sentences when he saw the person sitting on the sofa facing her sister. Kianna waved her hand towards him.

"What is this? This is unexpected" he mumbled. Yoora smirked at him. Kianna knew he was shocked.

"Good evening Eunwoo" she greeted him with a smile. There is a little bit awkward atmosphere. Then suddenly it became lively when he run right next to her and hug her like his long lost friend.

"Why you didn't tell me you're coming?" he asked while pinching her two cheecks. That's how comfortable they are to each other.

"Why would I tell you? Hahahaha Oh' c'mon aren't you surprise?

"Yes I am. Am very surprise since then."

"Urm!" they both looked at Yoora.

"It's not what you think!" They both shouted. They are like ten year old shouting at her.

"I didn't mean anything."Yoora laughed at them and went to the kitchen counter.

"Need your help here" Then they both went to the kitchen and prepared things right away.

A minute later, Eunwoo went outside without notice.

Yoora placed the rice with bernacles on the table. Kianna got the homemade leaf mustard kimchi from the fridge as per request by Yoora. She was too excited that she tasted it using her bare hands.

"When did you make this?" She asked Yoora while placing it on the table.

"Hahhaha Dad made it last week, he knew you would come here and he prepared a lot."

"Woah, I'm glad he made it. Anyways, what are you preparing? Is that seasoned seaweed?" Yoora nodded at her.

"I know you like it." She took a glance at her and gave her a pouty smile.

"You really missed me do you?"

"No, why would I?" Yoora answered her and let her taste the food.

"So please tell me why did you call last night, I just couldn't help to think why you'd called for about three times without reason."

"Yeah, I even realized that. But, no matter how I tried to remember why on earth did I call you..I couldn't still figure out." Yoora opened the container with shrimp and and dumped them in the strainer.

"Could you please cut the lemon for me?"Yoora pleaded.

"Yeah sure, where's Eunwoo?" She asked her without glancing at Yoora's questionable looks.

"Ah, Eunwoo? He went to the convenience store to buy some drinks" For the first time since they've come in kitchen, Kianna's eyes wondered around.

"But you know what, during my class earlier I have this strange student. The one I told you this morning."

"Yeah I remembered, the highschooler?" Yoora chuckled while tasting the buttered shrimp she have been cooking.

"Yeah, I never thought he would be my student I really thought he was like an Eleventh grade. But the thing is, he seemed very familiar. I think I saw him before.." she gave the lemon to Yoora for the finishing touch.

"Quite good looking huh?"

"Yeah but you'll be sued to the court. It's pedophile."

They both laughed each other. "He's mysterious"

"Oh' come on Kianna don't start thinking about things that includes your curiousity. That's your weakest point"

"I know, but I think I saw him before I met him in the elevator"

"Is he that attractive that you can't even stop talking?"

"No way!"

"Kianna I know you, you're my friend"

"No we're not" Yoora laughed at her. " Do you think I'm buying that, do you?"

"Okay, okay he is. But he's too young for you so stop that thinking ok"

Kianna laughed and shook her head. "Okay, okay!"

"Why Eunwoo taking so long?" Everthing on the table were set except the bottle of soju.

"This is insane! Everything looks delicious. Thank you so much Yoora Kim"

"Yeah I know you would really thank me for this."

"Woah. This is driving me crazy." She exclaimed again. "But where's..."

The door opened, entering from the metalled door. A man in his forties with a suitcase in his right hand.

"Oh Kianna?"

"Hello, uncle Jhonny Kim. How are you?" They both bowed down to each other showing respect.

"I'm so happy you visited us here" Jhonny Kim set aside his bag and they both went to the table.

"Dad, have you seen Eunwoo it took him so long?" Yoora asked his Dad.

"He's on his way but I saw him talking with friend so I just passed by." Both of the girls nodded.

"Let's have dinner."

Before they settled themselves on the table Eunwoo came with a plastic bag of beers and soju.

"Right timing" he uttered. They all laughed at his remarks.

As the hours had passed they talked with each other enjoying each company while taking a sip of beer.

"I really had a lot of time on my hands when I stayed In Europe but I forgot to contact you all. I'm really sorry"

"Don't be sorry Kianna, it's fine. You're now and that's more important. You know what let's have toast for this wonderdul night." Eunwoo exclaimed.

"Cheers!"
