Hain, huh? That does sound kinda cute and short. I love it, I'll go with that. I nodded to her as a sign that I agreed.

No I really did not! Thanks for telling me or else you or everyone else might have founded out I'm a reincarnated hero.

She nodded and afterwards giggled. We had some fun talking about our life in the orphanage and I can feel we're slowly getting closer to each other by heart.

Crap, I should have put more thought to this excuse. In order to think of one, I had to speed up my consciousness for a bit. And so time started slowing down for me again.

She flinched for a bit and blinked a few times as she turned her gaze to me.
「Is that so... I have heard about him, he was a quiet but good noble who liked to keep secrets even until his last breath. Noone knew if he had relatives or not but it looks like he had some.」
Heh... So that's why Alvis chose that person. He was a silent person who liked to keep secrets, that way noone would suspect I'm lying!
「We also used to live in that same city but my parents were suddenly unable to pay up the taxes and decided to move out.」
Seriously, I'm spouting out so much bullshit. I feel bad but also good since now I have a good background story.
We continued to talk while walking south until the sun finally started to set. We quickly found shelter below a tree a few kilometers away from the road.
For a campfire, I gathered wood by chopping down some trees. There was no law about no deforestation anyway and it sure was a fact that there are millions of trees in the Rafflecia forest which extends to almost 1/4 of the whole Centerio Continent. I processed a hundred trees and put them all in my"Dimensional Storage"just in case I have a need for wood.
After doing so, I brought the wood to where I and Hain will be sleeping. When I came back she had already set up a sleeping bag and placed rocks that formed a ring at the front.
I brought out a wood plank from my"Dimensional Storage"skill and used the"Processing"skill on it for it's second time and it became short sticks suitable for campfire.
I placed them in the middle of the ring of rocks quickly and it was sent ablaze by Hain's"Basic Livelihood Magic D"skill.
So this was the livelihood magic skill. The old sister from the orphanage had the same skill. From the name's sound it seems very convenient for maids.
「We're going to have boar meat for dinner, Hain.」
I was worried she's a sort of vegetarian before but it seems my worries for naught.
「Hai! Besides, anything Yukio cooks will taste good!」
What a suspicious overstatement!
Well it doesn't matter I guess.
I grabbed a pork's boneless loin and threw them in the air. Time had slowed down, for my cooking it requires some of my skills and stats to be in a consensus.
Using my agility stat for speed dicing and my"Atmos Blade"as the kitchen knife. I was able to cut the pork loin in a dozen pieces then immediately take out a thin wooden stick from my"Dimensional Storage"to skewer each one of the meat during it's falling motion. I repeated this process twenty times and a pile of skewered boar meat could be seen laid on two wooden plates Hain had prepared.
The person herself was busy watching me slice and dice the meat as she was preparing the kitchen utensils.
「Just how do you do that...」
「I was born with alot of unique skills.」
For now, let's go with this story. She's bound to see more of my skills and it's better if she expects it. Knowing something like someone having alot of skills after being born is better than knowing I have one skill that can get all the skills. It would only mean that I am the hero which is a fact I must keep as a secret.
「A-Alot of unique skills?! C-Certainly that does explain why you can do so much things... You're even using one of the highest tier wind magic spells,"Atmos Blade"as a kitchen tool when it has enough sharpness to cut almost anything in the world...」
So it was that strong, huh? I didn't know. Well I don't have any other choice anyway nor have any objections on using this skill to easily cut the meat like paper.
I simply gave her a smile as a reply.
「And these two are last.」
I skewered two dozen chopped boar loin meat at the same time and placed them both on the plates where the other skewers were being gathered.
We roasted the skewers using the flames from the campfire but as I thought, these things taste a bit too bland. However, looking at Hain's expression, it doesn't seem that way. It's probably because I'm more picky when it comes to food since I grew up in the modern world.
After eating dinner, we slept in our respective sleeping bags with Hain being the last since she washed the dishes with her"Basic Livelihood Magic D"skill. Thankfully Hain brought in an extra sleeping bag just in case or else I would have needed to sleep on the grass.
For night duty, we didn't need any. Because of my overwhelming amount of magic power, monsters are keeping their distance from me and if it comes to thieves, Alvis would just wake me up to warn me and deal with them.
Morning came without any problems. But with a good news instead. So I quickly washed my face and mouth using some of the water Hain had brought with her.

Now the only thing for me to do is wait.
I looked from my left side and it looks like Hain is still sleeping leisurely inside her bag.
So I decided to go out in the woods and pick up some herbs, I also happened to have captured a green slime by chance and put it inside my inventory.
「Uh, Alvis. Do you think the giant deer will kill that slime inside my storage skill?」
I've just realized. What if it even ruined the rest of my supplies in the storage skill!?

The blackhole appeared and from it emerged the body of the giant deer I have captured yesterday. It was currently asleep but it woke up with a start after 3 seconds and started baring it's horns at me while kicking the ground with it's back foot.

It's aggressiveness rapidly subsided and it started to look at me with respect. Before, it simply glared at me with it's green eyes along with those violent snorts but now it's keeping quiet and seem to be waiting for orders.

We ate breakfast after I explained to her how I got the deer, our food today was roasted fish and I asked Hain about many things in this world.
Like the tales of the summoned, reincarnated and the chosen heroes that have already set foot to this world.
