The terror could be felt among the one's who heard the voice, though in language not foreign to the mortals yet the depth and weight that the anomality's words carried trepidation far greater than his otherworldly appearance.
"You can talk!", exclaimed Nord leaving the grip of his hammer, which was still in anomality's hand.
"What are you doing, don't let your guard down", yelled penguin, who was hanging on Nord's shoulder.
"No, I...I, we don't need to fight, he can understand us. I...I don't understand why are we fighting if you can understand us", replied Nord to penguin and simultaneously talking to the anomality.
Just as Nord was trying to communicate with the beast. He felt rage beyond his comprehension, shivers ran down his spine, it was the first time that Nord who never once in life had felt fear wanted to kneel before someone, he felt so inferior that all his pride started to give off, giving him a sickening feeling.
"Don't misunderstand me mortal, just because I said something out of pure excitement doesn't mean you've gained the leverage to talk to me like my equal", said the anomality in an annoyed tone.
"If only I hadn't been weakened by this sudden shift of realms, I would've killed you in an instant", continued the beast.
Every word from him to Nord felt like spears piercing his heart. He fell on his knees putting his right hand on his heart grasping for breath, all while looking at the anomality with eyes widened and eyebrows tensed.
"What is this! just his speech bought me down to my knees", Nord murmured to himself.
Nord looked at him like a sheep would look at a wolf, realizing imminent death.
The anomality looked at Nord's hammer and grabbed it from the handle. Tilting his head around a bit as if analyzing the hammer he said, "So, where's the kid".
On hearing this Nord was dumbfounded, for he did not knew what the beast was talking about. With blank expressions he said, "What kid?".
The anomality looked at Nord's face and his dumbfounded expressions and said, "Am I not perceptible to you mortal".
Nord's expression didn't change at this point penguin jumped off from Nord's shoulder and waddled his way in front of the anomality.
"It's not like he can't hear you, he just doesn't find you good enough to be replied", said penguin in a demeaning tone.
"Is that really the case, because to me it looks like his soul left his body", said the anomality in taunting tone.
Penguin turned back only to look at Nord's pathetic state, "Moron", he said as if being disappointed.
"Anyways it's been so long, that I thought I would never see you again", said the anomality with a grin on his face.
"Sounds like you were searching for me", said penguin in a serious tone.
"Why wouldn't I, with your capabilities you are too good to be left alone for that kid", said the beast.
"I already told you I am not gonna join you", said penguin.
[Lark, Vilson and Rein were observing all the scenario from a distance.]
"He knows penguin!" exclaimed Lark turning to Rein as if to confirm the matter.
Vilson waited for Rein's answer with the same curiosity as Lark but keep it all to himself, maintaining a calm front.
"An old nemesis" said Rein as he walked past Lark and Vilson towards the anomality.
[Back to the scene]
"You are wasting your potential with that kid", argued the anomality.
"Better than committing genocide", replied penguin.
"Somebody has to do it, you know that", stressed the anomality.
"I am not going to be a part of it", affirmed penguin.
"*sighs You are leaving me no choice, I'll have to take you by force", replied the beast.
"Think you can do that?", said penguin.
"Who's going to stop me? that kid? Do you really think he is strong enough to stop all of us!", said the anomality.
"He is stronger than all of you combined", replied penguin.
"*scoffs, enough for the talk I'll start killing now beginning from that ginger head behind you!", said the beast.
As soon as these words left his mouth he dashed towards Nord and was about to blow his brains out with the very hammer which had previously inflicted damage on his iron shredded skin but was intervened by Rein who had stopped the falling hammer with a sword.
"You're really stubborn walking on a dead man's path", said the anomality pushing the hammer downward upon Rein trying to overwhelm him, but Rein stood firm.
"You are going to see that dead man soon", replied Rein in his same calm voice.
