I was knocked off my sleep by a wave of murderous intent.
A vicious slithering intent to kill all that is on the ship lurked beneath it ready to launch an attack at any moment.
And soon after, something had hit the ship and sent it rocking left and right in the sea, waking everyone one on board.
I left the room I took as my own to run up a wet corridor and up to the deck.
I snapped at them
The knights and the crew teamed up to fix the boat, currently the lowest part of the ship, a compartment was swimming with the fish as water gushed in with each second but that wasn't the worst of it.
No, a tentacle as wide as a horse latched onto the ship and started dragging it down!
Bartfort Finnaly decided to show up in his night gowns, flashing his chiseled upper body as he slashed the tentacle effectively slicing it up liberating the ship from the grasp of whatever lurked beneath it! Damn Priscilla got the mother load, no wonder she was bragging that one time.
And then In an instant, a chilling breeze blew from beneath the deck, instantly freezing the ship in an iceberg.
Everyone cheered for Vincent thinking that he saved the ship with the Evansons winter magic, but I cut in shouting
The ship started to creak and the sea level was creeping on us when Lukretus decided to melt the ship using the Solis magic. A warm ray of light melted the snow in vapor but the ship was still sinking.
Everyone was panicking, Canditia fell on her knees praying for salvation before I send both hands on the ship and it started glowing, covered in dark pink hues of energy.
The aura shocked the monsters lurking beneath upon contact, liberating the ship from their grasp once again before it started levitating higher and higher until it was flying above seal level.
And then the ship bolted forward like an arrow, flying away from the monsters before it safely landed at the edge of the dark continent with a loud bang.
For a moment, everyone went dead silent before I broke it by saying
I swear to God, I am cursing that bastard as soon as this is over right before I leave this stupid world!
And just when we thought everything was over, the creature that lurked beneath the ship came crawling out the deep abyss with gianormous tentacles. A yellow fish eye stared at as, so big in size before it screeched prior to slamming a giant tentacle at us.
Luckily, Bartfort blocked it with a couple slashes of his sword slicing yet another tentacle, smiling with monster blood stains on his face and abs.
I swear he's doing it on purpose, a seduction machine that guy is! Canditia is swooning!
The knights hopped on their mounts and started firing at the creature from the sky galloping in the air with their flying horses.
Canditia and I buffed them up with spells and blessings standing in the rear as support along with the other priests and healers.
The monster shrieked and screeched as it tried to escape from their persistent attacks and then with one final swing from his sword, the monsters head was severed and it was Bartfort's victory to claim.
However it wasn't yet time to celebrate victory for the commotion had attracted more monsters.
