Lost in his thoughts, Valdemar rode his horse back to the castle where he highlighted from his horse and with the help of the cord that rolled down from the window of his room, he climbed back up after watching his horse walk back to its stable majestically and royally.
Valdemar quickly changed back to his sleeping and royal clothes in the dark, so as to prevent from switching on the light and gaining attention from the Royal family or maids, servants and guards.
He climbed on his bed and with three deep breaths, he kept on thinking of his new friend he made that night at the field.
He still wasn't satisfied with the reason she gave for being out so late at night. But that had passed, he needed to start a new journey with a new friend.
Believe me, he got so many ladies that are dying to be his friend so as to get to the throne but they don't know that he is not a fool to accept just any kind of lady, and that is why his parents are searching far and wide for a Queen that will rule the kingdom with diligence, compassion, love for all kind of people, not only youths of the new generation or of her peer group. They are searching for a Queen that will rule Banneui like Sarah would do and even surpass her rule with much more acceptance.
And that is also why Valdemar is taking his time to look for a wife that wouldn't just have the qualities his parents wants but also have the quality to love him with all her heart.
Just like Stelleine did back then when she was alive.
'Stelleine. I miss you' his burning and hot heart whispered, but it could also be heard from his mouth aloud.
He stared out at the window and wondered who Lea was and why she would just pick up a conversation with a stranger like that.
Of course, he knows that he is the one that started the conversation but, with the experiences he had some years ago, whenever he wanted to start a conversation with a girl that is not from Banneui, the girl would shriek and run away or just remain there in fear, like he's going to eat her.
Which he never had any intention of doing?
He kept such experiences to himself though, not wanting to enter a deep trouble with his parents for going out to other towns and kingdoms and also crossing the border of Banneui.
"Lea..."
He said her name aloud and kept on thinking.
When will he meet her again?
But soon, in his thoughts, and aided with the cold breeze that swept across the curtains and unto his body, his eyelids fell heavy and soon...
He fell asleep.
*BACK AT MANETH, LEA IS SEEN LYING ON THE OLD BED THAT SHE USUALLY SLEEPS ON, THINKING OF HER NEW FRIEND*
Lea is seen lying on her bed and thinking fervently of who her new friend is. Her hopes rose at the thought of making a new friend at a farther land, and meeting one day again.
The darkness of the night was gradually coming to an end, as the sun rose back to take charge while the moon returned to its abyss, resting till another night comes.
Lea turned to face the window of her room where her parents picture is hanging and swinging slowly as the soft breeze blew across it.
Then she remembered something!
She told the guy her name but he never introduced himself.
One prime suspect of being a spy sent by her dad!
Her dad can send anyone to his house to know what is going on in and around the house and yet, Lea will know nothing.
The guy not introducing himself means he is a spy sent to her by her Dad to know what is going on in his house and also know how she is faring.
Lea groaned at the thoughts of this and stumped her feet in the bed in complaint and anger of what had just settled in her mind.
To her, Landi is being too over protective and it is taking a toll on her in a negative way which can be both provoking and at the same time make someone grow emotional. Lea didn't hide her anger when she stood up from her bed and made her way outside the house to take a glimpse of the sun that is gradually rising. It takes a moment for her to realize that the sun that is coming up signifies a new day and a new encounter in her life.
The surrounding looks spectacular. Everything about it glimmers, and that gave Lea a little joy and vision of what is going to happen today.
She grabs a bowl that is outside the house but close to the stable and make her way into the house again to fetch a couple of dirty clothes that has been on the ground near the dining area for days without being washed nor worn. She just wanted to keep herself busy, nothing more, nothing less.
While fetching water into another bucket, the neighs of horses emerged from the far lands and as people from other houses came out to take a look at what was happening, Lea quickly carried the bowl and headed into her house so as not to have an encounter with any of the soldiers on the horses.
The horses passed the field leading to another town and plenty neighbors watched both from within and outside their houses.
Lea didn't get anything though. Why they appeared so scared of some soldiers that isn't even from their town.
But her confusion and wondering was place to a pause when a beautiful white girl that has black hair and pure white body, screamed at the top of her lungs.
Everyone watched intensely! What was happening?!
Mothers, Fathers, little children, Boys of the teenage age, Girls of the teenage age, came out of their houses including Lea to witness what was happening.
The scream of the girl faded into the far lands as she galloped away with the soldiers on horses that was seen a moment ago, crossing the fields to another land.
All the citizens knew what that meant but being the only one that is a teenage girl with no understanding of the girl's sudden shout and being carried away, Lea asked from one of her neighbors, what was going on?
"What happened, Mrs Bell?" she asked and the woman called Bell raised her head in tears.
"They took her, Lea. She's gone"
Lea stared at her shocked and feeling a strike of fear hit her she reasoned.
Men from far away lands were kidnapping girls from other lands.
