I reached my house in Fazaipur, just a typical morning, I walked into the small lawn our house had as Ramaiya looked at me tensely from the verandah, I couldn't maintain eye contact with him. My father spoke from the balcony of his bedroom, "Is it true what Ramaiya told us? You want to stand up against the Rohas now?"
Neelam came out to the verandah, stood besides brother and said, "If you want our kids dead, tell us already. I'll kill them myself before the Rohas touch them!"
"Your anger is justified, but you don't seem to see what I'm seeing, a beautiful future for the next generations, for our kids, for their freedom. Do you want them to live as oppresseds in their own country like we are living?" I replied.
"Your beautiful future does not exist! There are only blood, gore, pain and sufferings in your future!" my mother walked into the scene.
"And it's always better to live in restrictions than being dead!" Neelam spoke.
Sashi and Radha being the youngest stayed quite.I let out a deep breath walked out of the scene, into my room. I undressed and lay down on the bed naked, thinking about the madness that has occupied my brain in the last few hours. What was happening? How death of two strangers made such a huge impact on me? What if I end up making some wrong move and hurting my loved ones? And why can't I stop thinking about this stuff? I stood up, took a bath and got dressed, and walked to the office, sat on my desk and decided to make my first move.
I am in charge of checking the newspaper once before its printed, if I allow an article, it goes to the paper, my brother and father don't even know until it's printed. We start printing at midnight, so that they can be delivered throughout Fazaipur and nearby towns early morning. The entire final stuff to be printed is finalized before nine o'clock at night; it was 10am already so I wrote my article for tomorrow's paper. And when I'll allow it at night my father and brother won't even find out. I decided to write on that kid and his family.
"INNOCENT KIDS KILLED FOR ASKING JUSTICE FOR THEIR PARENTS! WE WON'T TAKE ROHA DOMINANCE ANYMORE!"
I was sure that there are going to be adverse results about this but I was ready to take every blow they can offer!
