Aline crossed her legs, stroking her chin. She had just arrived on the ship with a wagon of fish and had been pleasantly surprised to find the ship empty.
"This is weird, they've been gone for too long," she said. "I even went fishing to pass the time, but they still aren't back." She gasped. "Maybe they were attacked, if so, I better go find them."
She noticed a ship beside their own, a flag with a biohazard sign flapping in the wind. "What a weird symbol?" a sudden thought clicked in, and she stepped out of the ship.
...
"Octavius, can you disable the bomb?" Paolo asked.
Octavius shook his head. "It's not a manmade bomb, so it won't have the wiring of a normal one."
Hugo, now on his feet, laughed. "You guys don't have time till it explodes." He snapped his fingers, creating a force field around the members of team four. "We are safe in this, so watching the explosion will be so much fun."
An idea formed in Paolo's mind, a grin spreading on his face. "I should have thought about this sooner. Octavius, blow the pillar down."
"Huh!" the royals, Shinzo and Luna exclaimed.
Octavius didn't even waste time, not questioning his captain in the slightest. "Sorry in advance guys."
"Stop, no!"
Octavius threw the bomb, the pillar exploding. The Ichi Army watched with their mouths down as fire engulfed where the pillar had been.
"Will they be okay in that fire?" Octavius questioned
"How dare you ruin our plans, you stupid kid, I'll kill you!" Yulia shouted.
She charged towards Octavius, ready to jump him, but a huge shock of lightning descended on her. Luna stood behind the dust that had gathered during the explosion, scowling with her wand in hand and one hand of her bra top cut off and patches in her skirt. "Didn't you have a better way of saving us?"
"Just be happy we saved you," Octavius said.
She smiled. "Well, you're not wrong."
Anisa stood beside her brother, her Kaftan riddled with holes. "I can't believe we actually made it."
Aziz wiped the soot on his face. "I'm just glad we are."
"How annoying," Alexandrite said, summoning another bomb. "I'll make sure to end your sorry lives right here."
Before the bomb could hit them, Shinzo kicked it back towards Alexandrite. The bomb exploded on impact, Alexandrite falling on an unconscious heap with Yulia.
Shinzo landed gracefully, his black hair falling out of its bindings. "You idiots should have rescued me more elegantly. My clothes are now dirty, and the tips of my hair are burnt." He smiled. "Well at least I'm alive."
"It's not over yet until we beat them up," Paolo said, pointing at the Hugo and Abrielle that were now running away.
Cairo bleated as Paolo jumped on his back. "Let's go, Cairo."
They chased the two members into the town, dust clouds forming behind them.
Paolo stood on Cairo's back, clenching his fists and jumping in the air. He punched Hugo down, smashing his head into the ground while Cairo used his horns to stab Abrielle.
The goat bleated angrily, using its hooves to kick the two members then turned to Paolo, a smug look on its face.
Paolo laughed, ruffling his fleece. "Good job, Cairo."
...
Aline frowned walking back to the ship. "This day just keeps getting weirder huh."
<"If you mean the kid with the cross chain, I saw him getting defeated by this group with a biohazard symbol," one of the villagers had said. "It was crazy, they threw bombs and everything.">
Aline stared at the ship beside theirs. "If what she said was right, this ship belongs to those people."
After stroking her chin lost in thought, she made her decision. "Let's check it out."
She stepped into the ship, looking around for people, but it was completely desolate. She spotted a hub on the table as well as book of tea recipes.
She gasped, snatching the book. "I've been looking for this book on Albanian tea for ages."
After scrolling through it for a while, she shook her head, focus Aline, this isn't why we're here.
The communication hub suddenly started beeping, Aline picking it up as it was her own ship.
"Hello?"
"Abrielle, what's all this about?" the voice on the phone growled. "I have not received your report."
"Um… who is this?"
"It's me, Leon."
