Vyrut wakes up as usual at 6. He went to the cafe. He looks at the other candidates crowding the cafe counter and look up the screen notice.
[FREE FOOD. TODAY & TOMORROW]
'Ahh... I See', most of the candidates are normal citizens. It a situation thats more beneficial to them.
He ordered two set of English Breakfast and two packet of fruits. He goes straight to Adams room when a voice suddenly spoke to him.
"V?", said the familiar voice. He turned around.
A red head was standing there, looking at him with his grey eyes. He smiled a bit as he walks closer to him.
"You pass to huh", he look at the plastic beg he's holding.
"Breakfast huh. Wanna eat with me?", his eyes dropped to the necklace he's wearing.
Vyrut didn't say anything as he walks away. He quickly reached his hand. Vyrut stop walking. He don't want to look at him.
"Wait... V... Can we talk a bit? There's something I have to discuss", he said warily.
"I... don't have anything to say to you. Let me go", he said with icy tone.
"No. I'll not let you go. You know-"
"Enough! I know it's my fault!", he suddenly shout. His head drop down.
He push his shoulder toward him to take a look at his face but Vyrut look away.
"How long are we going to be like this? We're friends right? I know it's not your doing", he said softly. He couldn't bear to be seperated like this.
"I... think we should just end it here", he said slowly.
"No! I won't allow that. Why are you still wearing that then?"
Vyrut clenched his necklace with his other hand. Deep within he wants to be together like they used to but at the same time he feels guilty. The necklace he got from when they first became friend, he have the same necklace too.
"V?", he called out. He let go his hand from his shoulder.
"Let me think about it", he's still confused between hearing him out or ignore it. Though he know that the issue is not gonna end if he continued to ignore it.
"Okay...", he smiled with relief.
"Then... can we eat together?", he ask again.
Vyrut look at him.
"Just this once", he look away as he said it.
"I'm gonna get some food. Wait for me", he jog to the cafe.
Vyrut sat at the nearby bench. Adam must be waiting. He look at the corridor to the cafe. After ten minutes, he came running a bit.
"Sorry I'm late.There's a lot of people just now", he ran because he's worried that Vyrut might disappear.
Vyrut walk away in silence. He push the room bell. He feel weird as to why he does that. Maybe it's not his room. He could hear someone walking and the latch being opened.
"You took your time. I was waiting...", Adam said as he open the door. There is an unknown man coming along with a glum looking Vyrut.
"Please come in", maybe it's brothers friend.
"Thanks", he took the lead.
He put the foods on the table and goes to the sink. Vyrut just sat down and take out the foods from the plastic bag. He put it on the plates as Adam poured down the black coffee. He sits between Adam and Vyrut at the white square table.
"Brother, you brought this set?", he ask.
'Brother?', since when did he get a new siblings. He didn't know. He turned to Vyrut.
"You don't like it?", he said as his finger touch his hair again. It's still a bit uncomfortable hearing it.
'Still with the habit huh', thinks Ray.
"No. I like this one. Are we going to train after this?", he cut the meat sausage to smaller piece before eating.
"Well you want to get better using that technique right?", he just look down at his plate. He knows the red head was looking at him.
"Okay! I like training with brother", he said with a bright smile.
"I wanna join to", he said suddenly.
"No. You said you only want to join us for breakfast", he said coldly, with a stare.
"Oh yeah. Who is he, brother?", he look at his red hair that as bright as the flame. It's the first time he sees a red head.
"Him? Just Ray", he answered casually.
'He's so cold'
"I'm Ray. Nice to meet you"
"I'm Adam", they shakes hand.
"What's your Genshi?"
"I'm fire element"
"Oh. What a coincidence. We're same. I could teach you if you want", looks like he will be able to join. Hehe.
"No. Just me is enough to teach him", said Vyrut. He knows Ray is good to jump in a situation that benefits him.
"He can't? Wouldn't it be better if he teach me since we're the same element?"
It's true that Ray is a better choice to teach him since the fire element is harder to control. In addition he is the most talented fire wielder in their academy. After thinking thoroughly Vyrut agree. Ray smile victoriously.
