Ashera walks toward them and stands beside Vyrut. His emerald eyes land on Raphael and Ian.
"I'm here to say something related to yesterday", the Admin is currently handling it. He's been in a bad mood since then.
"We're searching for the accomplice among our staff with the help of the Admin", he's just here to deliver the message. In front of him is the empire most important individual. Although he's part of the list too.
"They need to find him quickly before he runs away", said Vyrut.
"Ah... You must be Ray"
"Yeah. Need something?"
"Sir Mort requested us to approve your admission for the SS Test", he requests it but in return, he will dismiss the incident. If he didn't approve who knows what happens.
"Huh? SS Test? You mean that one?", did he mishear it? Never thought his brother would request that of all things.
"What's that?", ask Adam.
"SS stands for Specialized Secret. Not many people know it and it's high risk. Usually, only an experienced Tenshiz will apply for it. It's for skipping the rank", explain Raphael.
"As she said. That is the SS Test. She also applied for it"
"You did?", ask Vyrut. From what he knows the test was on a whole other level.
"I applied on the first day"
"The test will be conducted after the badge ceremony ended tomorrow. Please arrive at the underground training ground earlier. Someone will escort you both", it's been a while since he heard someone applied for it.
"Sir Ashera. Do you know Shira?", ask Ray. He could see their resemblance.
"He's my cousin. You can just call me Ashera"
"I'll be going. See you tomorrow", he needs to prepare for the test.
They watch him walk away. Ray feels like his head is about to crash. His brother request is too sudden and it is tomorrow! Though he should have expected him to do this. He has no choice.
"Raphael. Do you already have a plan for the test?", he will have to take it with this injury.
"I already prepared a few strategies and know his genshi element. You do know that Admin will conduct the test right?"
"Eh? Really? If you didn't say it I wouldn't know"
"I'll be going now. Bye", she heads to the training hall.
"Can't be helped. Did you bring your spear?", said Vyrut.
"I always bring it", at least his technique is at the secondary vein. Though he doubts that will be enough.
"Oh yeah. You're not going to say my name again?
"When did I say that?", Vyrut glared at him. Why did he have to remind him.
"I he-", Vyrut quickly shut his mouth with his hand.
"Shut up", Ian and Adam just quietly laughed. Ray smiled from between his hand. He thought he wouldn't even say his name anymore. He can still remember his panic face.
Ray was let out in the afternoon. They ate lunch in Adam's room as he took that time to plan some strategies. He needs to be prepared for any possibilities.
In the morning, Vyrut changes his bandage to the band-aid. He wears his favourite royal red jacket with a white ribbon and styled his hair. He takes a seat at the chair near the stairs. Vyrut glanced when he heard footsteps. Adam, Anna and Elena were walking together.
"V. Looking good huh", Elena wears a knee level light green dress.
"You're just wearing that?", he ignores Elena. Adam wears a white shirt with a red denim jacket while Anna's wearing a white blouse with a puffy knee-length skirt.
"Is it weird?"
"It's okay", he brushed aside his hair.
They both took a seat at the rows of seats for males. The ceremony starts with a speech by the admin right-hand. The badge will be handed to the girls first. Anna receives a hexagon silver badge with a thin chain to pin.
The boy's badges will be handled according to their rank. Which is diamond, gold, silver and bronze. Vyrut was the only one to receive the diamond rank while Adam got gold.
"Diamond rank huh..", said Adam. The transparent badge looks nice.
"Let's go. I wanna see the test. It will begin soon", there's a banquet at the next hall but he didn't want to go.
"Can we?", they walk to the lift. Ashera is also waiting there.
"Ashera. Can we watch the test?"
"Anyone is welcome to watch. Even if it's only you two", he was holding an iPad.
They entered and the lift moves down. After a few minutes, the lift open. They can see a huge training ground with a high ceiling. Ray and Raphael were standing outside the red line. They both went to them as Ashera stands next to the lift to wait for the Admin.
"V. You came?", he touches the badge. He got diamond rank huh. As expected of my V!
"Ashera said we can", Vyrut brushed his handoff.
"Good luck", said Adam.
Ray pat him with a smile. Both of them wears a jersey that has been handed to all participants. Ray's jersey has red strips at the arm and Raphael's is blue. She ties the jersey at her waist along with a belt for her swords.
"Is it yours?", Adam looks at the royal blue scabbard with a silver floral pattern.
She took it out and pointed the blade upward. The blade shines under the light. It was made from the sturdiest and strongest metal. Diamond Adamantine. Which has a very limited number.
The lift is open. A man with golden blonde hair steps out. He must be Admin and his right-hand man comes too.
"Are you both ready?", he glanced toward Ray and Raphael.
"Yes", answered Ray. Raphael nods.
"We will begin with Raphael", he hands over his black jacket to his right-hand man.
