"This tastes very good Mr. Chen," I spoke after finishing the whole plate of pasta. He just smiled and minded his business which was preparing ore food for me. I'll eat again after finishing my practice for today. I could never practice with a empty stomach. So pasta is my go-to food before starting to practice.
Standing up from my chair, I took a deep breath and started walking towards Mr. Chen. This is the start of my plan.
"Mr. Chen," I spoke as gentle as possible. As expected, Mr. Chen immediately turned his head towards me and replied with a genuine smile plastered on his face, "You want something miss Yuqi?"
I nodded a 'yes'. "Do you know what's utopia?" I asked, now facing him.
"Yes," he replied in no second. "Isn't it a place that possesses highly desirable qualities for its citizens?"
"Hmm," I nodded my head. " Come with me," I spoke as I started walking towards the game room.
I could hear the footsteps of Mr. Chen coming from my back. His every step was smooth or nearly soundless. He was following me obediently as if I was the only princess of the kingdom and he was my most trustable soldier from some ancient war story.
As soon as we entered the room, the lights turned off just how I planned. None of the maids were staying, I told all of them to go home and take rest.
"I'll check it miss Yuqi," Mr. Chen said. He knew that the main switch was in the game room. I could feel that he was only a few steps closer to the switchboard.
And that was the moment when I screamed all my lungs out which was pretty embarrassing for a person like me. But it was the easiest option.
Just as I screamed, I heard something running towards me and I clicked on the 'on' button of the remote which was in my hold this whole time. Guess what, the lights turned on and there was a furious looking Mr. Chen in my vision, ready to protect me with widened eyes.
It didn't took me much more time to realize that Mr. Chen wasn't just a normal butler. I crossed my arms and glared at him, "Who are you?"
Mr. chen immediately fixed his standing position and spoke, "I'm your butler."
Hm, if he was a spy, then he won't be this dumb. But he had brain indeed.
"I'll give you another chance to answer me." I replied with a straight face while moving closer to him.
"Miss Yuqi….I guess you are mistaking somewhere. I'm only your butler and nothing else," he hesitated.
I couldn't hold my patience anymore and gave Mr. Chen another strict glare. But no result, it was as if he became mute somehow. Yet he looked nervous and it was certain that I'll get my answer soon.
I let out a light chuckle, "No need to hide anymore. It's currently obvious that you aren't a normal butler." I emphasized on the word 'normal'.
Two intense minutes of silence passed and Mr. Chen's nervous voice finally came to my ear, "I..I-"
"Don't stutter!" I felt guilty after saying that by the way.
He gulped being all sweaty and nervous, "My full name is Chen Huan. Your parents sent me here to protect you-"
"Secretly," I completed his sentence and he nodded. "Protect me, huh!" I scoffed while rolling my eyes in disbelief.
I put my one hand on Mr. Chen's shoulder giving him a assuring smile that I won't tell my parents about this even if they went too far, yet it was better than sending someone to spy on me.
I signaled Mr. Chen, now Chen Huan to sit beside me as I sat on the couch near a shelf full of video games.
"Tell me more about your real identity," I told him while grabbing a glass of water from the coffee table in front of us and handing it to him. "Have some water first."

I think I won't be able to sleep tonight. Why? Well, I don't have the answer too. And again, I was wondering if my life could be like a normal person. Sadly, it wasn't.
I couldn't even talk to Ichika, she was admitted in the hospital now dealing through something which I never wished to happen to her. And there was grandpa who was somewhere in the woods, immersed in meditation.
My forehead creased in annoyance. And anger. Annoyance because I couldn't contact Ichika. Anger because I as pissed on my parents so much. Some people might say, 'After all their your parents.'
But make sure to note my point. If they were really my parents, they wouldn't turn my childhood into a chaotic field. They would never have left me. And now what, taking care of me secretly after all this?
Actually every child deserves to have parents. But not all parents deserve to have children. Take my parents as an example.
But sometimes I wonder if Ichika did the same to Aron just what my parents did to me. Though their cases were different. Aron's father died when he was six months old, in his mother's womb. During the meantime, the whole family got bankrupt and more happened. I still don't have much idea about it. My mom knew Ichika from the very start, she asked her to take care of me 24/7.
Then a lot happened. Some expected, some unexpected.
And now I as here, lying on my bed with my lowkey emotionless heart while thinking about my past.
I have wondered a lot of times, why our past feels like a dream? Another thing, why people want to change their past? Because if we see it logically, then, the past will remain the same.
But one part of me really wanted to change both of my present and past. Only possible in my dreams I guess.
(I still remember telling Ichika that someday I'll get the superpower to cure everyone's pain. It was funny that I didn't realize the fact that I was the one in pain. I really don't have a lot of emotions inside me. What I have is anger, hatred, regrets and yeah, some love for Ichika and grandpa.)
