Chapter 12 - Chapter 12

Meanwhile, Murphy sneaked inside the palace using Penelope's tube. When she climbed up the cold tunnel, her phone rang, and she immediately panicked.

"Good thing no one heard the sound," She sighed in relief.

Murphy continued to climb up the tunnel until she reached a latch that led into Penelope's room.

"I have to expose this queen," Murphy murmured, "After all, she hates Penelope's siblings.

Murphy slowly opened Penelope's door, and peeked to make sure no one was at the halls. She then slowly closed the door, and tiptoed to the end of the hallway.

"This plan will be fun," Murphy overheard the queen laugh, as the queen and the voice teacher walked out of the room.

"What plan?" Murphy pondered.

After they left the hallway, Murphy sneaked to the front door, and quietly opened it. Murphy looked around to see if anyone was watching her, before walking in.

When she walked in, there were a few desktop computers, along with loads of papers and files.

"That will be a lot of searching," Murphy told herself, shocked.

Murphy immediately sorted through papers, and kept a few papers to read later. She quickly went to another file, and sorted through the papers. When she saw a paper about the queen planning to frame the siblings, she grabbed her phone out of her pocket, and took a picture of the paper.

"Caught you red handed," Murphy murmured.

She also saw another paper, that said the queen purposely destroyed the governmental building because she had a grudge against the manager. Murphy also took a picture of that, and saved that to files on her phone.

"I have to find Penelope soon," I heard the queen from a distance.

I dropped the paper, panicking, as I was thinking of where to hide. As I heard the Queen's footsteps, I ducked under the table, and stayed as quiet as a mouse.

When the queen entered, she was logging onto a desktop, opposing me.

Murphy pressed record on her phone, as the queen was logging in her computer.

"Time to give that manager a piece of my mind," The queen fumed.

She was typing very fast, as I couldn't see the words from the back of the room. Then, I saw the vocal teacher enter the room, as she was holding a file.

"Thanks for bringing me the files," The queen grinned, "Now go tell my husband i'm making him dinner."

"He's not here, ma'am," The vocal teacher answered, "He's on an expedition."

"I don't want any of your excuses!" The queen yelled, "Go find him before I fire you!"

"Ok…" The vocal teacher whimpered, as she was walking out the door.

"The vocal teacher needs a better job," Murphy whispered to herself.

A while later, the queen finally walks out of the room. Murphy quickly arose from under the table, and immediately rushed to Penelope's room, thinking about how poorly the queen treats the vocal teacher

When she entered Penelope's room, she walked to the latch.

"See you at court queen."

When Murphy got to her house, she scrolled through her evidence on her phone.

"I need to call Penelope ASAP, and tell her about the evidence," Murphy tensed.

Meanwhile at my new room, I heard my phone ring, and saw it was from Murphy, so I answered the call.

"Hey Penelope," Murphy greeted, "Sorry to disturb you, but I went to The Queen's house earlier in the evening."

"Ok? What did you find there?" I asked.

"Well…." Murphy started, "I found out that the queen was framing your siblings all along."

"Yeah, no surprise," I remarked.

"I also found out that the queen was having a grudge with the manager," She explained.

She sent me photos of the queen making plans to burn down the building, as I scrolled through each one.

"Thanks for informing me," I nodded.

"No problem, that's part of the case," She reminded me.
