Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

When Serena drove to the back of the apartment, Phoebe was already preparing herself to get out of the car. When we got out of the car, I looked around the parking lot to make sure no one sees my siblings, because these days, there's a lot of rumors and news tea about us. When we got to the apartment room, Phoebe led my siblings into my room, while I was making myself a milkshake.

After the milkshake was ready, I opened the patio door, and sunlight was beaming on my face, so I sat down at a chair to the right. I took a small sip of the sweet and satisfying strawberry milkshake, topped with whipped cream, and a hint of chocolate. I savored the delicious taste of milkshake, as my mind was replaying events of the entire Redwood family at the beach last summer.

While I was gazing at the trees, I heard Serena call me, so I placed the finished milkshake on the end table, and I went inside.

"Your friend is here," Serena informed.

I opened the door, and my best friend Ally was standing at the door.

"So nice to meet you again," Ally hugged, "How is your life away from that evil queen?"

"It was very pleasant," I answered honestly, "No more fighting or screaming."

"Yep," Ally agreed, "Also, I'm so sorry your sibling got arrested."

"It's ok," I sighed, "After all, Mokland's justice system is corrupted."

"I feel the same way too," Ally answered, "Don't you think that the queen is behind this?"

"That was the same thing Serena told me," I recalled, "And yes, even long before this shit, the queen was unfairly treating my siblings."

"Right, I forgot," Ally chuckled.

"Anyways how's your boyfriend?" I added, curiously.

"He's been ghosting me." Ally explained, "He's been constantly hiding his phone, and he's always very dull to me."

"You don't think he's cheating on you?" I suspected.

"Do you think I should break up with him?" Ally asked.

"I mean if he's ghosting you, or making you feel worthless, then go for it I guess," I advised.

"Yeah, I should," Ally agreed.

"Anyways, are you interested in doing a photoshoot at my house?" Ally offered.

"If i'm not meeting with Murphy, then sure," I answered.

"Ok, bye," Ally walked out of the room.

Around 3:45 PM, I got a text from Murphy to come to her office, so I grabbed my purse, and left the room. Soon enough, I was out of the apartment, and I kept on waving my hand for the taxi. Luckily, one taxi driver stopped for me, as I opened the car door, and went in. A moment later the car started to move, as I looked out of the window.

When I saw the sign, Murphy's law office, I quickly grabbed my purse.

"Stop the car!" I demanded.

The driver stopped the car, as I opened the door, and left the car.

I began running to the door, and when I got to the door, I aggressively knocked.

"Come in," I heard Murphy.

I opened the door, and saw Murphy stand next to the receptionist.

"Hello," Murphy greeted, "I was just going to talk to you about court trials for your sibling."

As soon as I heard Court trials, I immediately started panicking because the illusions are going to disappear very soon.

"Yeah, about that," I started, "Can we organize a court this Saturday because I'm really busy this week."

"Sure," Murphy replied, "I'm also busy too."

"Ok then, bye," I waved, as I walked out of the door.
