4 years later,
I am quite embarrassed to say that I'm the queen's favorite daughter, even though I hated the queen myself. I guess that happens when you're the youngest child in the family. I hated how my mother treated my siblings differently from me. My mom would always make me wear the fanciest and the most luxurious dresses, while my siblings dressed in cheap and dirty clothes. Fortunately, unlike most spoiled young princesses, I actually buy my siblings whatever they like, and treat them equally.
"THE CONCERT IS IN ONE WEEK!" My mom yelled out in excitement, "I'm so excited that Penelope is going to sing in the concert, along with other talented musicians,"
"But, but I thought Phoebe was going to perform," I reacted with dismay, "After all, her singing voice is very good."
"But she's not pretty enough," my mom judged.
"That's because you dress her in rags!" I argued.
"Go to your room and prepare!"
I ran to my room, and angrily slammed the door.
An hour later, the voice teacher knocked on my door, and I opened it.
"Hello. So i'm here to remind you that your practice session is in 30 minutes," The voice teacher informed.
"Ok, I will be there,"
In my mind, I didn't want to sing at the show, and I wanted Phoebe to sing instead.
I quickly changed into a casual outfit, and packed containers of food for my siblings since my mother was rude enough to not feed them. I closed the door, and walked towards another section of the palace. I entered the ward, and walked down to rooms 7-9.
"Hello," I knocked.
Phoebe opens the door, "Hello"
"Here is some leftover food I brought from the lunchtime feast," I offered.
Phoebe took the containers of food, and thanked me, as she was about to close the door.
