I woke up to a wonderful smell of breakfast, as I heard the microwave beep. I jumped out of bed, and followed the smell. On my way to the kitchen, I saw the queen suspiciously running to my sibling's quarters, so I decided to quietly follow the queen. When the queen entered Phoebe's room, I hid behind the plant, and moments later, I heard a clicking sound, so I thought, What is the queen doing to Phoebe?.
"Thank you for helping me achieve my mission," I overheard the queen, as she was walking out of the room.
What mission? I panicked, trying to regain my thoughts from yesterday.
As soon as the queen was gone, I entered Phoebe's room, and looked around to see if there was anything out of the ordinary. When I heard Phoebe yawn, I quickly rushed out of the room so she didn't see me going through her things.
Meanwhile, the queen was scrolling through pictures of disguises and lyrics found in Phoebe's room.
"I knew all along it was Phoebe," The queen muttered, "That rat will pay after she spends her time in jail!"
The queen was uploading pictures to the news site, so that she can tell everyone that Phoebe was the one who pretended to be Penelope.
I decided to go for a walk on a beautiful and sunny Saturday, along with my siblings.
"I absolutely loved your performance, Penelope," Dylan complimented, "You're voice was very beautiful."
"Thanks… " I responded nervously.
I wish I can tell Dylan that Phoebe was the one who disguised as me.
I spotted Serena and Sam walking together happily.
"Sam! Serena!" I exclaimed with joy.
They both ran towards us, and waved.
"Long time no see," Phoebe greeted, as we were all hugging Sam and Serena.
"How's your new life away from the castle?" I asked.
"It was a dream come true," Phoebe explained with joy and happiness, "We got to enjoy ourselves while being away from the queen's control."
While they were chatting, I spotted a camera inside the castle window.
We are not safe anymore. It's clear that the queen is upset with us
Later that night, I got a notification from my phone from Mokland news, so I checked the news, and I was horrified. I immediately dropped my phone, as soon as I saw the title, Phoebe Redwood exposed for disguising as Penelope at yesterday's night concert.
I knew my suspicions were right, because I would never sound this good, but when I picked up my phone, I saw more revealing photos of the disguises and lyrics in Phoebe's room. I remembered the camera clicks in Phoebe's room earlier this morning.
"This all makes sense now," I realized, "The queen probably got suspicious that I sounded different, so she went to Phoebe's room, and took pictures of the disguises and lyrics, and used them as evidence."
I heard a loud bang from downstairs, so I put my phone in my pocket, and rushed downstairs.
