"Rose, now I want you to hold on tight so you won't fall ok?" he asked her as they were positioned to start the ride.
"Ok. I promise. I cross my heart"
"Good girl! We'll be at the palace in about one hour"
"But, it usually takes me about 20 minutes"
"Yeah and that's because you're a hooligan"
"No, I'm not!"
"Yes, you are!"
"Not!"
"Are!"
"Not!"
"Ugh! Why am I even arguing with you? Just hold on tight!"
Then, he drove off with Rose holding onto his torso tight.
She was pretty angry with him for calling her a hooligan but, she couldn't help but obey him since she was waiting for his answer.
After three minutes of driving, they still hadn't said a word to one another. To Rose, it was already an hour of driving and it was already getting boring for her.
She wanted to feel an adrenaline rush. 'With this guy driving below the speed limit, I probably won't have an adventure' she thought to herself as she rolled her eyes in her head.
"Look over there," she said pointing at the road.
"There's nothing there Rose" he checked through the side mirror.
"No, look carefully!"
"I think it's the alcohol you drank that's making you see things"
"Noooo... can't you see it? There's a one thousand-year-old turtle there and, it's about to pass us! DRIVE FASTER!!"
"No there isn't"
"You have to use your imagination Good Looks," she said stressing the word imagination.
"I don't do imagination"
"You have to. Do it for me, please. Or, don't use your imagination at all. Just go a little past the speed limit please or, or.....I won't stop nagging you till you say yes. Please, please, please...." she declared
She kept her word and didn't stop nagging him until five minutes later when he said "Fine! Fine! But hold on tight"
"Yes! Let's go good looks!"
Then, she held on to him tightly as he drove faster and faster making her hair fly wildly in the wind.
The adrenaline rush she had been anticipating for all night was finally about to get to her. She had enough and let go of his torso and raised her hand in the air and screamed "Woohoo!!! Let's Blaze!"
He knew she wasn't holding onto him anymore but, he didn't bother scolding her anymore instead, he smiled and drove even faster.
