That's his long-lasting dream!
It was December 5 when they returned home back. They have to go to Gorrión. They waved Goodbye to Bunny, Jessy, Tigry, Luphy, Orbie, Harry, Cookie, Lory, Dory, Dolly, Molly, Lolly, and Polly. The rest of them are friends of theirs. They hovered onto their skateboard, waving their goodbyes to them. Bunny felt kind of emotional. Harry was emotional as well. They cried and pleaded as they make friends easily and build strong bonds. Luckily, Bunny has taken some photos. In these photos everyone is present. Luphy went to the store and made it into a photo with a wooden frame. They hung it above the family treasures room.
Dan thought for a moment. He found something is missing. Just after a few minutes, there was something revolving around him. It then said, "Hello? Mister-very- unconscious. You had left me on that silly train and I was trapped there in cold for 13 hours! You are so forgetful when you are mesmerized with something." It was the little fairy. Dan asked the fairy to apologize to him. They then later continued on their journey.
It's winter in Fantalasia and Gorrión is not like before. It is now splendid. Dan could not believe his eyes. The capital city, Victoria, is so splendid and shining as they flew over it. It's Christmas time and it's snowing as the full moon rises in the frozen sky. There at the bottom, many Christmas trees are beautifully decorated with colourful lights and sheen decorations. They landed down. The skyline was splendid as well. Above all of the bakeries, trees, groceries, malls, houses and the city hall lies the beautiful Victoria castle. Both the capital city and the castle is named Victoria, after the solemn, great queen who liberated Gorrión from the First Serpento invasion.
They spoke to the other people, exchanging greetings and hellos. But Dan was shocked about what he heard from an old man. He said, "You know, son? Our kingdom was full of sorrow and poverty. But, two brothers, they came, they helped us. And with their power. They made what you and I are seeing and walking around now. And the two brothers-Georges and Maxim. They are now in Alcista and they were there before. They are Gorrión citizens but shifted to Alcista to work for a burger company called McDonald's. They came here a few months ago and changed the feat of Gorrión."
"Whoa! I am amazed. Georges and Maxim are saviours!" awed Dan, with surprise, lots of them.
"They are very caring and good. I appreciate their patriotism for their motherland.", said the fairy, quite proud of them. She loves these kind people.
They were then hired into a taxi to a hotel. That hotel was the Meadowstall Hotel, which exists for 200 years. It was now very modernized. It was brightly decorated now with colourful lights and of course, Christmas trees. Dan arrived at the reception. The reception greeted, "Good Evening, Sir. How may I help you?" Dan said, "I want a room in which I, a little fairy, and a pet husky could live in. The bed must be king-sized. I want a canopy view of the city." The receptionist said, "Sure Sir, we have lots of rooms like that. Your room number is 156. After about 45 minutes you will be informed about your dinner. Here's the keys, one original and another spare." Dan took the keys and searched his room. He was informed that the room was on the third floor in Block A, one of the seven buildings of that large hotel complex.
Dan at last found the room. Camb was excited too. He ran barking with excitement as Dan opens the door. It had a king-size bed along with a spectacular view of the whole city. The room had a table, five chairs, a television, a magnificent, clean bathroom, a closet to keep clothes and other things, and a dryer and washing machine in a closet attached to the wall. The room was good for a weary man. Later, a waiter called him for dinner. Camb was given his dinner thirty minutes earlier. The fairy and Dan now walked to the dining room. Luckily, pets are allowed so their masters could have a protective eye on them!
The dinner was Baked Chicken, along with a plate of the whole tuna, garnished with onions and parsley. Besides it is a white sauce and green mayonnaise. There was also some salty mashed potato and a bowl of delectable souped noodles which contains added onions, parsley, pieces of lamb, half an egg, and some fried, crispy fish on it. That was a yummy dinner. So tasty!
After dinner, Dan decided to walk around the hotel park. He said to the fairy, "You know, I never expected Gorrión to be magnificent as this. But we must be careful as well, as Aquilla might be marching to here." "You are right Dan. Gorrión is almost powerful. Mind you, Aquilla might be planning a second modern wave to Gorrión. We must be ready already."
That night was full of shooting stars and bright constellations and not forget the full moon. That splendid combination shined bright on a winter night. At 10, everyone slept. The next day, Dan and others woke up at 5 in the morning. They all did the morning ready-on and went for breakfast. The breakfast was eggs and toast with salad and some mixed fruit juice. The fairy says, "Let's go for a round to the architecture of the capital city." Dan agreed. On going on their vacation, Dan decided to buy a horse which he could carry along wherever he wants. In the horse stables, lots of horses were out for sale. There he found a white horse. It runs fast, at about 47 mph, which was more than enough for him. He also decided to buy some rags, a good quality travel bag, some long coats, two snow hats, two pairs of snow gloves, a woolly sweater, a carrier for Camb and fairy, and most important of all-the reins and the saddle. He had cancelled the rooms of his hotel and decided to live like an explorer.
This was the traditional mix of the items of a traveller. Most Gorrión people travel on horses, which is the traditional transport. The white horse, decorated with a beautiful velvet saddle and a silky rein, carrying the load of his items, stalked proudly in the road. He named the white horse Hadrian, after the Roman emperor Hadrian.
