Rohan wouldn't be discharged from the hospital for another two days due to the extent of his injuries.
Lillian who was in the ICU until this morning was also not to be discharged from the hospital for another week.
To Sophia this was really an excellent arrangement given to her by fate.
She had plans to take Rohan to the new house and get him settled in physically and mentally before getting him to face Lillian while by that time would be discharged from the hospital.
If everything went well, then she was sure that when Rohan comes to face Lillian he would be in a much better state. A state where he isn't ashamed or feeling guilty to either Luna or Lillian because of what he has to go through. Nor would he feel any sort of malicious thoughts because of what he had to go through, especially not toward himself.
Lillian on the other hand would want to meet Rohan as soon as possible to calm her worried heart. The dream that sent her to the emergency surgery, would surely bother her until she sees that Rohan is safe and sound. Hence getting Rohan in his best shape as soon as possible was a must.
Thinking of something, Sophia made a call to KL once more before heading out towards Sugar Honies.
She dropped by several electronics store to buy multiple laptops, wires, hard discs and a few other mechanical parts. Since she bought in bulks the electronics store had offered her free 2 hour delivery which Sophia gladly accepted. They were all to be sent to Sugar Honies under the name of Kevin Lei.
After her short shopping spree Sophia made her way to Sugar Honies. She was going to start her work after going in but the materials she needed wouldn't be there until another hour so she decided to visit the girls and check up on them in person first.
When the elevator doors opened, Sophia stepped out and followed the loud chatters that was filling up the entire hallway. Cheerful voices rang out one after another and Sophia mentally wondered if this was really a floor where she had placed sixteen well-beaten down girls merely two days ago.
Luna on the other was amazed! To her it was a very otherworldly thing that there could be such joyful talks happening in a hospital! Especially from people who had gone through life and death not so long ago!
What sort of witch magic happened here?
Will Rohan also become cheerful like them?
Will he be able to forget and move on?
Would she be asking for too much if that was the case?
Despite the sudden melancholy that Luna was letting out, Sophia stilled walked towards the room where she knew the girls were at.
"Did Sophia really do that?!"
"She's so cool! I wanna be like her!"
"Just how strong was she? Can we meet her? I wanna see my idol. Please?"
Similar words filled the room. Everyone was curious as to who Sophia Harper was.
More than that, they subconsciously wanted to meet her because they felt as though there was a deep attachment towards her. Like a lost child hearing about their long lost mother…
"There's no use talking about her. She's already dead."
Sophia's strong words were like sudden thunder that had broken out. It had caused the people inside the room to fall quiet from shock.
They just couldn't believe it.
The strong and mighty Sophia Harper who had successfully fought with 10 terrorists on a spy mission was… dead?
That was impossible!
"You're lying!"
"She so strong and clever, how could she die?!"
Hearing their words of accusations towards her, Sophia just smirked. She calmly set foot inside the the patient room and slowly walked in.
The smile on her face was rather unnatural as it wasn't a mocking smile nor was it forced. It was a genuine smile however the emotions behind it were rather complicated.
The girls and the doctor's inside the room didn't understand what that feeling was but they did feel her rather calm and cool aura that seemed unaffected by their accusations.
The girls who were yelling out words of disagreement just a moment before all went quiet and watched as Sophia finally reached the end of the room where there was a seat ready for her.
Her steps and the grace in her movements made her seem like a true queen walking into the throne room. The girls and doctors were her subjects that wanted to disagree with her but couldn't because her calm and dominating aura was one that subconsciously made them stop their words.
Once Sophia was seated she looked at each and every person inside the room. Though there was pressure in her gaze the people couldn't decipher exactly what it was.
Sophia stopped looking around and instead lifted her left hand and observed it like it was the most interesting thing in the world.
"You guys aren't wrong. Sophia Harper is an amazing girl who was strong and clever. But…she's dead."
When she said 'dead' her face abruptly lifted up and faced the people inside the room. The seriousness in her gaze made everyone subconsciously believe everything she said.
Even if she said something so displeasing, they started to believe that Sophia Harper was really dead.
Tears started to form in their eyes and they started to let out soft whimpers. The slight shake of their heads revealed their state of mind.
They just didn't believe it.
They couldn't bring themselves to believe that Sophia Harper was dead.
And this was only the girls who had heard of her. The doctors and nurses who had personally seen and spoken with Sophia before were shaking their heads violently and moving backwards as though they had seen a ghost.
Some even feel down on the ground. Nevertheless the quiet murmurs that was building up a loud voice inside the room didn't stop.
The words grew louder by the second but they still continued as though saying a chant that will revive the dead.
"You're lying. She's not dead. She's still alive."
"She's still alive."
"She's still alive."
