Sophia has changed her clothes to the one she wore when she arrived. She even wore a black face mask to cover up her face. Matching with her black gym leggings and black shirt and the black baseball cap on her head, Sophia looked as if she was a criminal on the run.
Well in this day and age it was called fashion. Totally not a suspicious looking person.
As she walked out from the hospital very casually no one stopped her nor did they look at her weirdly.
Going out, Sophia found herself back inside the apartment. She wanted to stay behind and look after Lillian but it was going to take at least five hours before she could come so she just left after the surgery was done. Besides, she has other things to get done.
Like watching the downfall of the Grey family perhaps? Or even making a deeper trap for them to fall into? Wouldn't that be a nice show to watch?
As she thought of the things she was going to do, Sophia's eyes flashed in a very dangerous glow. If anyone was in front of her they would've felt their whole body go numb and air to feel very suffocating to the point of fainting.
Alas it was only Sachi who could barely feel her emotions.
Sitting behind the laptop, Sophia typed away at a rather fast speed. After several minutes she sent an email to Mr. Kinnely followed by one to Sugar Honies.
Once that was all done, Sophia didn't know what to do.
Rohan didn't want her visiting and currently 'she was busy at the hospital with Lillian' so she couldn't go to him. Lillian would be awake for the next couple of days so there was no need for her to be there yet.
She had also already finished her business, so what now?
Just as Sophia was thinking about something more exciting to do, she heard Sachi telling her to eat something.
Out of instinct Sophia was about to reply with, 'I'm not hungry' when her stomach rumbled.
Sophia: "…"
With an indifferent expression on her face, Sophia causally nodded her head and responded with a flat 'sure.'
Seeing her nonchalant expression, Sachi felt like he was a mother watching over their kid. Nonetheless, he was rather happy that she was finally going to eat something.
The last thing she had was lunch at the hospital when she came to visit Lillian and Rohan.
Sachi wouldn't even consider that as lunch because it was just a bowl of black bean noodles.
From there, she has been injured, lost blood, did a f*cking surgery and wrote up a destruction plan for the Grey family. All that while she had only been drinking water that was barely enough to keep her hydrated.
How the f*ck did she survive until now so normally? Was she a superhuman or something?
Sophia pulled up her phone to order some food when Sachi popped up in front of her and put a paw on top of the phone.
Sophia looked at him with a gaze that said 'what?'
"Make food yourself. You've been having takeouts and outside food ever since you came here. Go and make some real food yourself. Besides, your food tastes better than those outside so stop wasting your money!"
Sophia froze and thought about her time here as Luna. It had really been —- days since she was here and she didn't go near the kitchen. Not even once.
Thinking about her amazing food, Sophia was convinced to actually make some food for herself. But just as she was about to nod she suddenly didn't feel like standing up and putting in so much effort for some food.
She had all the time in the world to make them but not right now. Right she was injured. What injured person cooks up their own food when they could just order takeout?
Sophia had her head down as she was thinking so when she let out the slight hint of a teasing smile, Sachi didn't catch on. Quickly changing her expression back to a serious one, Sophia looked up and said, "I'm injured."
Sachi, who was expecting a big yeah: "…"
If he were a human being, his mouth would've been opening and closing like a fish out of water and his fists would've been raised in anger. However he was not, so his cat mouth wasn't opening and closing as though he was flexing his jaws and one of his paws with claws out was in front of him as though he was warning the person not to come close.
To Sophia, Sachi looked really cute and adorable despite how angry he looked.
While he was busy trying to rein in his anger, Sophia had already picked up the phone and ordered some food for herself.
Thinking about it, besides being takeouts, her food was also either plain or simple and often for the weak.
Surprisingly, she was always going hungry so her food had to be plain so as not to upset her stomach.
Sophia, who felt like she was on a strict hospital diet, really wanted to order some junk food but the doctor within her wouldn't allow her, so she could only wait with reluctance as the food came.
After dinner, Sophia surprisingly found herself sleepy. Which was a good thing. As long as she could, everything would be better so she curled herself up on her bed and slept.
It was a quarter before ten at night but Sophia who had quite a busy day fell asleep rather quickly once her head hit the pillow.
The next morning at six Sophia was seen jogging around the block for quite some time. A little past seven she was seen going to a breakfast stall for some food before going back to the apartment to freshen up.
Sophia checked on her phone for any updates after which she left to go see Lillian at the hospital.
When she went in Lillian was in the ICU sleeping. According to her calculations Lillian should've been starting to show signs of waking up by now at the very least but she saw nothing.
Logically speaking the anesthesia had already worn out two hours after the surgery. The next four hours she would've been sleeping and her body would've been recovering from the shock. At around midnight she should've been showing signs of being awake.
Right now it was eight in the morning so about 13 hours after her surgery. If nothing went wrong Lillian was supposed to be awake. However right now she wasn't.
Sophia didn't really need to worry because it was a common occurrence. Besides she had quite a big surgery and her body had suffered much more shock than normal so it was very understandable that she wasn't awake yet. However Luna couldn't put her heart at ease.
Sophia put in a mask and a sterile gown and went in to visit Lillian inside the ICU ward.
Once inside she subtly checked Lillian's vitals and even used the basic health monitor for her heart rate and blood pressure.
Everything was normal.
Luna looked worried and stood up to check the doctor's chart hanging at the foot of the bed.
According to the nurses notes and vitals signs over the past 13 hours, everything was … normal.
Sophia heaved a sigh and went up to Lillian once again. Sitting down, she held Lillian's hands and waited for her to wake up.
