Sophia set her motorbike on auto mode and leaned back to relieve the stress on her body.
The two hours of hitting the men and fighting with them left her body all weak and exhausted. She really needed to treasure this body for the time being at the very least.
No matter what, it wasn't fully hers and she couldn't disregard everything as she did to her own. If by any chance she doesn't own it at the end, then she would've been destroying this body for someone else. Someone more innocent.
Just the thought of it made Sophia sigh. It was just too troublesome. Why couldn't she have just become Luna Grey on the first go?
If that happened she would officially be Luna no matter what and she could do whatever without having to fear anything. Of course, she would be moderate and not let anyone know that she wasn't Luna anymore and whatnot but at least she could freely makes choices.
Unlike now, she had to take Luna's thoughts into consideration because a fragment of her soul was in the body with her. There were even times where her thoughts interferes with hers and she can't control what she is doing. This mainly happens when she was the closest to Rohan and Lillian.
Each time she was near them, Luna's soul would get stronger as though she really wanted to overpower her soul within the body. But alas there was only a fragment of her soul. No matter how powerful it gets, Sophia's soul is the one in control. She has the final say.
However, even if this was the case, Sophia's actions are influenced by that voice. Like having another voice in her head, Luna's soul talks to her in moments of need.
As cool as it sounds, Sophia doesn't like the idea or the fact that someone else is inside her head. Someone who can know her thoughts and see her actions first hand. Even if it was the original owner of the body.
Sometimes that voice won't stop talking until she changes her decisions hence it was really really frustrating for Sophia.
No matter how much of a sucker she was for her loved ones and how much of a pushover she was, there was a limit to it. She didn't like being controlled.
Especially after the four years inside that room.
Being controlled was now her bottom line. If anyone dared to try to control her she had a feeling that the consequences were one no one could afford.
Currently with the Grey family trying to control 'Luna', they were trying to control her. Sophia couldn't keep control.
She couldn't bear with the fact that they were out to control her. Her: who was always controlling people from behind the scenes? Were they crazy?
A flash of coldness passed through Sophia's half closed eyes.
Sachi had already sent a message on behalf of her when they left the barn to Mr. Kinnely. The message was mainly asking him to hasten the downfall of the Grey family as soon as possible.
At around six in the evening the haggard Sophia checked into a high end hotel near Rohan's hospital to freshen up and tend to her wounds.
When she was stitching up the four inch long slit on the left side of her waist that was currently a centimeter deep, Sophia became curious.
Previously, she didn't think much into it but it seemed that she couldn't ignore it anymore.
As time went on she realized that she knew knowledge as she needed it?
Back at the barn where the sixteen girls were being held, she saw the different herbs being grown and different recipes and all their knowledge just flooded into her brain as though it was second nature to her? It was as if she already knew it and seeing the herbs just made those thoughts become priority?
Did she learn it before and forget it or something? It was the same thing when she was fighting the men. She knew that as Sophia Harper she knew how to fight so she never really bothered about it but everyone was sure she would 'unlock' new skills and fighting stances that helped her fight better against the people she faced.
Was this a work of the 5G Necklace System or was there a secret behind this?
There were several times where she found herself clueless about things but when it actually came to it, she just knew what to do. Was that possible?
Thinking of this, Sophia remembered that Sachi asked if she remembered something back at the barn. Remember what?
Sophia's hands that were wrapping a gauze around her waist paused as she lifted her head and looked at Sachi. Her eyes shone as her throat went dry. She wanted to confirm her thoughts.
"When you asked if I remembered… Did you mean my knowledge about hacking and medicine?"
Sachi widened his eyes as though he never expected her to know of this. As soon as Sophia saw this she already had an answer but she wanted him to explain to her about this. She stayed silent and waited for Sachi to speak.
After a moment of shocked silence from Sachi, he dazedly nodded his head and spoke, "Yeah"
"Back in the white void, you would spend your time learning new things from the many resources found in there. You mainly focused on medicine and technology but you were a jack of all trades so it didn't really matter what you learned. However, when you came here I realized that you didn't really remember what you learned there so I was surprised that when the time came for you to use those skills, you knew what you were doing."
Sophia silently nodded her head. She had already expected as much.
The knowledge she learned inside the void was still there, just locked up in a way that unless she came in contact with something that required that knowledge she wouldn't know much about it besides the things she had learned as Sophia Harper in the real world.
Sophia didn't speak anymore. Looking down she started to continue wrapping the wound on her waist before putting her shirt back on.
Once all was done she checked her phone for any updates.
If she remembered correctly, Lillian went into surgery at roughly 2 pm. An hour before her actual surgery time.
Including the emergency surgery and the regular surgery that could and would have to be done at once because of her special condition, the total surgery time was around 7 hours.
Only four hours had passed. She still had time to pay Rohan a quick visit before going back to check in Lillian just in time for the finishing of her surgery.
Just as she had finished planning her next steps Sophia heard a rather familiar ding. Sophia's pupils shrank as the temperature around her got cold.
That never brought her any good news.
In fact, it was rather bad news because it meant that someone was either going to become a cripple for life or … die. Neither was a good ending, Sophia prayed that it didn't have anything to do with Lillian or Rohan.
Anything besides those two people would be a good thing. She was already on the verge of losing control. She really couldn't afford to hear something worrying about those two people. Be it as Sophia of Luna, both their hearts would squeeze tight if they hear anything bad happening to either of them.
Sophia closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Opening her eyes Sophia placed her eye on the mission panel that had popped up in front of her.
[Ding! Regular Mission Unlocked: Save Lillian]

Sophia's heart sank when she saw the

'F*ck you, Levi.'
