A trace of confusion could be seen within the depths of Sophias blueish grey eyes. It was so deep inside, one would have to search carefully before even realizing that Sophia was letting an emotion that wasn't her emotionless face!
Nonetheless, Sophia's confusion was very little.
Revenge.
That's what confused her.
Usually when one gets a chance they would do whatever to get revenge on their enemies. That is what she had been used to doing. That is also something she had seen those around her so to.
Yet, despite being so closely attached with the many forms of revenge, after being reborn as Luna she felt nothing.
Literally speaking she felt nothing at all. The few times she had gotten angry on behalf of Lillian, Rohan and Luna she felt as though those emotions didn't belong to her. As though someone else's feelings had come to affect her.
However, in a way those feelings were also hers because she was now Luna and Luna was her. This was the case even if her soul occupied a little more than 80% of the body and not the complete body.
Perhaps this was the reason that Sophia was able to feel such emotions despite how she was in reality?
To Sophia revenge was something that was very time consuming and stressful to the body. When one wanted to get revenge they had to get stronger and become even more powerful than their enemy. That in itself takes a very long time.
A person no matter how talented couldn't become powerful overnight so the revenge process usually takes more than a few months. Sometimes even years.
During this time, the person wronged would feel stressed out to the max. Their thoughts and entire life revolves around the idea of revenge that they eventually forget how to live because for a long while revenge is what they'd been living for. Once that's done, what's next?
The stress isn't just about the revenge it's more of just SURVIVING until they get a chance to revenge.
Sophia believed that this is another way that your killer controls you.
And honestly it was true.
She had seen many cases where her people were so driven on the idea of revenge that they had lost themselves. When the torturous wait time came to an end and the revenge was carried out they were left as mere empty shells. They had no other purpose of survival.
At least that's what they felt.
She had seen how they would break down and eventually a loved one brings them back to 'life' or they loses themselves to the many games of life.
Sophia knew all that and more so to her she had already had enough revenge inside the white void where she had used 3D Stimulation to avenge herself in many ways.
She had stabbed those f*cking heartless beasts in their sleep and gave away their organs in the black market more than a hundred times!
She'd even had her share of the game by prostituting them out for years on end and enjoyed seeing their misery.
When she went into learning lab works she used Layla and Jackson as her lab rats and tested various drugs on them. Of course Sophia was a pro at this so the samples she gave them were made with intentional wrongs to test out any possible side effects of mixing two drugs, etc.
Technically speaking it would not be much torture but Sophia had found a way to enhance those regular drugs into a form or addiction and watched as they suffered unknowingly.
While she was doing this she didn't forget Davion either. He was used especially for bionics. She would take her time slowly tearing off his limbs piece by piece and putting on an artificial one for testing. To make this even more painful she would not use any form of anesthesia when putting on the new bionics or even taking them off so his screams would sound loud and clear throughout the void every time she did an bionic operation on him.
The days inside were countless so Sophia had played with Jackson, Layla, and Davion for a long time and to her hearts content so there was really no need for revenge.
True it might feel even more satisfying to do it in real life but it was a LOT of trouble! Knowing how wasting away precious time just to get revenge was like aiding the killer in their aims to destroy your life.
Not everyone believed this to be the case but Sophia did and she wasn't going to waste her second chance at life just to get some revenge that she had already fulfilled so many times in numerous ways back inside the void. Why the f*ck would she waste real life time doing something she had already done?
F*ck! She had enough of that Harper family and this f*cking son-of-a-b*tch Garcia. No in hell was she going to waste her time on them!
Even if she was back she refused to waste a second looking at them!
As for the little kids in front of her that wanted to get revenge for Sophia… well they can do whatever the f*ck they wanted. She gave no sh*t about it.
Besides they needed it so it's their choice on what they want to do after knowing the real reason behind Sophia's death.
Before her death or rather before she was stuck inside that room, Sophia had personally taken these doctors and nurses to Sugar Honies.
In here they had gained a new light. A new purpose to live and a path into their future.
Sophia and Sugar Honies together had given them the chance to start over and get their revenge. But without her they were all lost. Besides keeping their lighthouse, Sugar Honies, alive and strong they felt as though they had no other purpose.
When Sophia came to visit Sugar Honies and even when she looked up on them via the System CCTV she knew that they were all suffering silently.
They were losing themselves just like they did when they first finished heir revenge only this time their was no Sophia Harper to help them find other meanings in life.
Right now, Sophia was giving them something via the identity of Luna Grey. As the inherited of Sophia's old job she was giving them new hope, just like Sophia.
This was because as much as they realized that Sophia was dead, they felt it within their hearts that something was wrong hence their loss of self. They lost themselves while trying to find out what had happened to Sophia.
As the 'mother' of these people how could she let them be? She gave them a new light. One that said and confirmed their belief that Sophia Harper didn't die because she killed herself but because she was killed.
As for who killed her, well those people had it coming.
The revenge or whatever else means they come up with to avenge Sophia and move on would be the push they need to know that Sophia wasn't a god.
They would learn to do more than just rely on Sophia. Mentally at least.
They would learn to be more independent without Sophia.
And that is a result 'Luna' needs. Because as Luna Grey they needed to accept her first in a more firming way before she could do more than she did as Sophia.
Her goal was to get Sugar Honies stronger than ever.
Telling them how and who killed Sophia was just the start of it.
What awaited the world was something more phenomenal than the beginning of Sugar Honies.
