If only she was firm in her thoughts and doubts. If only she didn't doubt.
If she didn't have second thoughts about the many times Layla showed little to no concern about her or let her down many times…
If only she was more clear headed and looked into the little signs that Layla often let out throughout the years… if only she had paid a little bit of attention than maybe… maybe she wouldn't be Luna right now. Nor would she have been stuck inside that torturous room for four f*cking years.
Truth be told, she might've learned to live her life for herself instead of for Layla and her father who barely cared for her all those years.
Her job at Sugar Honies meant many different things as a mercenary was required to do lots of stuff.
For her, before she ended a person's life through bankruptcy or any other forms she made sure to get legit proof. That was the only way she managed to survive through the many horrendous jobs that she did.
Being the boss of Sugar Honies wasn't all about just leading the people, she often had to go through life threatening experiences just to get a job done. And often times those jobs were merely to get something for Layla.
And yet they f*cking killed her…
If only she had her guards up like she did when facing new people even those that she saved. If only her mind didn't slow down or even stop working when she was with Layla.
No matter what there was no 'if's' because Sophia Harper… she was already dead.
She had let herself be trapped in the net of the so called love she had for Layla and her family.
Right now she was Luna Grey. Her mother was dead or rather killed and her biological father was in jail getting r*ped and tortured by her men alongside his mistress and his beloved daughter Josie.
Her only family right now were Lillian and Rohan who were both going through a hard time at the hospital.
While she… well she was settling some scores on behalf of her family and Luna.
A new house was being prepared and a self-made AI therapy was being programmed by her at her LAB for Rohan.
Currently she was heading up to the twentieth floor to meet her client.
When she reached the furthest door to the right from the elevator, Sophia knocked and waited for someone to open the door.
A few seconds later a voice came through the speaker attached to the bell.
"Who is it?"
It was the hoarse voice of a man. His cold voice rang alarm bells within Luna's mind but Sophia was not scared at the least and calmly answered back.
"Sugar Baby 2136 here for service."
A soft click was heard a second later and Sophia entered the hotel room with her black bag in tow.
When the door closed, an overwhelming amount of tension filled the air, suffocating anyone and everyone within sight.
A man in a white bathrobe sat on a single sofa and faced Sophia as she entered the room. His eyes were covered in lust as he eyed her body up and down while gulping down the glass of red wine in his hands.
Sophia walked up to the man and stood a meter away from him. Placing down the bag on the coffee table in front of him, Sophia bowed a little bit to acknowledge him before straightening her back and awaiting further instructions.
"Come and serve me. It feels kinda lonely to be pouring out drinks for myself." His cold voice left her no room for resistance. Besides she was here on her own will so why would she back out now? She already knew what was coming hence without any hesitation she walked closer to the man and bent down before picking up the wine bottle and refilling his already empty glass.
After taking a sip the man looked a Sophia. "You know, you would look good in a maids outfit." His eyes closed down to a tiny slit as a cold but lustful glare past through them. He looked at Sophia, and spoke his next words right to her face. "I really feel like f*cking my maid today. Why don't you become my maid for the night? Hmm? Baby, you wouldn't mind dressing up a bit for me do you?"
Though his words were gentle and seemed to be coaxing a little girl into listening to his demands, the firmness in his voice left no room for Sophia to even question his words. It was as though he wasn't suggesting it but rather giving out orders and that he was because she was here to serve him. To do whatever he asked even if it meant serving him alcohol like a mere maid.
Standing up, Sophia gave a rather flirty look at the man before answering in a seductive voice. "I shall take your words to heart then, master. Please await my return."
Sophia didn't forget to bite her finger and reveal some list towards the men even though her heart says otherwise.
With a graceful spin, Sophia grabbed her bag and went inside the bathroom to change her clothes.
While Sophia was busy attending to the whims of the man, a certain someone was also busy trying to find her.
"Boss. Katrina from Kings Royal Hotel and Resort reported that she saw her going in a while ago. "
His boss, who happened to be looking over the lighted city through his office's ceiling to window, stiffened his body slightly when he heard the news.
Turning around to face his secretary, aka the famous Mr. Shou, Aiden raised his brows and waited for him to speak up.
"Umm…. I don't know how to say this, sir. But umm… Katrina said that she went up to Mr. Ezra's room…"
Aiden's already red eyes grew even redder as he glared at his secretary. However after realizing the intensity of the situation he quickly grabbed his coat and left the room with his car keys.
As for where he was going in such a rush well, it was really not that hard to tell.
