Have you ever felt like your entire life has been planned for you? Every last detail planed and picked by everyone but you, and your just on autopilot living threw it? Well that's my life for as long as I can remember. Everything part of my life planed by everyone else. My boyfriend, my hobbies, cheerleading, and even most of my friends. Only choice I ever made for my self was to be friends with Kris. Kris family transfer to our town our freshman year and we hit it off immediately and have been best friends ever since. She is the complete opposite of everything around me.
We live in a small town and when I say small I really mean small. The population of Hallsworthy is 985 people and decreasing. Everyone trying to get away. I always dream of the day I can get away from this town, but I have already know it will never happen. You see, I'm expected to finish high school go to Jamestown college that's two towns over then marry my boyfriend and have kid and live that perfect white picket fence life. Is this what I want? Fuck no! But it's the plan everyone has planned for as long as I can remember. You see my boyfriend is Kyle Halls, star quarterback of the football team and parents own this town. I mean his last name part of the town name, but no really they own the town. Kyle's father is a real estate tycoon who owns the deed to all businesses in town and his mother? Ya she the mayor/judge of this town. Like I said own the town, so whatever Kyle wants he gets, and for some crazy reason he decided he wanted me. I never understood why he picked me, I'm nothing special really. My parents aren't rich, the opposite really. My looks are plan at best, my long brown hair falls to my waist and my eyes can't pick a color some days they are green others they are brown. I'm not super skinny but not heavy, I'm just average and always has been.
Kyle and I have been together since 6th grade, he's my first kiss, my first boyfriend, and we have each other's virginity. My mother was over the moon when she found out Kyle asked me out and been planning our wedding ever since. My dad on the other hand had a completely different reaction, as soon as he found out he quit his job in town and got a new a job in the next town over. He took huge pay cut for few years but now has worked his way to making enough to keep us comfortable. He also always made himself disappear when Kyle came over. Not that I can blame him....
It's now close to the end of senior year and everyone's picking colleges and getting ready for graduation. For the already decided future, but one night and one act of rebellion will change everything we knew. This my story of braking free of the chain put on me since 6th grade and finding my own story...
