Chapter 45 - Forty-Five

"I LOVE YOUR FLAVOR," HE WHISPERED ON MY ear as he hugged my exhausted body with his huge arms that were as long as my legs. Making me flush.

"Satisfied, Jay?"

"For now, yes. You went on such a frantic state that you collapsed," he giggled. "Was it good?"

"That's an understatement," I mumbled. "But you went overboard, now I'm totally drained. You went crazy as if I was a drug and you got addicted to it. I was moaning so much I couldn't even manage to say a word, because my brain was melting. Everything inside of me was melting. My body was burning up from the inside out."

Jay caressed my hair, "I was hungry, sorry. I couldn't control myself. And you were the one who gave the suggestion."

I scoffed, "Now it's my fault."

"Not fault, but idea. And I loved it."

"Imagine if you didn't." I loved it as well, so I can't even criticize him for it.

"I love your taste, Hope," he said it again, making me blushed harder than the first time. "Eating you is becoming of one my favorite things to do in this world," how dirty.

"Lustful devil."

"I'll gladly take that as a compliment. Besides, I'm all yours, only lustful for you. You are the only one who makes me feel this way, as if I could swim inside of you for the rest of my life," he said I'm good at flirting, but he's better than me at it.

Using my telekinesis to help me out, I sat down and stood a meter away from him, "Don't think I forgot that, Jay. There's still something we need to discuss."

By how he bit his bottom lip anxiously and sat down, I could tell he already knew what I wanted to talk about. "Yes."

"The Prince said that you were sent here to represent Duke Luc Von der Meer on their marriage, and that was the reason you were in the north. But you told me something different. So, don't lie, and tell me everything or I'll get really pissed at you again. You don't want that, do you?" I pressed the matter so he won't be able to avoid it.

A nod, "No. And he's right. Officially, my mission here in the south is mainly to represent the Duke on the southern Prince's wedding with Lady DuBlanc. That's what I am, officially doing here."

I gasped, "So, it's true?"

"Yes. However, I didn't lie to you, darling. No one sent me to you. I went to the Bissonnette County after you on my own accord, when I was supposed to stay still in here, but I just couldn't do such a thing. And then all of that happened and we met the way we did… but I didn't lie about this, I swear I didn't," as I said nothing, he came closer and hugged me, making me sit on his lap again, but this time in a hug, nothing else. "Do you believe me?"

As I hugged him back, I felt sleepy. "I do. I believe in you," sigh. "You really managed to dry me out, didn't you?" I mumbled and he chuckled softly.

Laying down with me on his arms again, he caressed my hair, "Sleepy?"

"Mm-hm," I mumbled faintly.

"Then sleep, Hope. You are safe with me, darling," he whispered and proceeded to lullaby me with enchanted and when I realized he also had the voice of an angel, I felt unconscious.

As opened my eyes, he wasn't on the bed with me. Blinking tiredly, I sat down slowly, still felling the area of my hips a little numb. "Devil?" Nothing. "Jay? Are you here?" I called again in the border of the bed, but before my feet could touch the ground, he appeared like a thunder in front of me and held me in his arms. "You are quite fast."

"Yeah, I've hear that a lot," he said with a smug on.

My eyes ran down around him and I noticed his hair was kind of wet, and he smelled like the lemon with strawberry soap in my bathtub. He also had changed his clothes. "Did you took a bath?"

A nod, "Yes. A very cold one!"

His remark made me get what he meant by that, and I blushed, "Oh," I gulped. "You smell like… me."

"I think this is my new favorite smell," he said as he took me inside the bathroom and but me on the bathtub that was already full. Then he snapped his fingers and my underwear, the only thing I was still wearing, appeared on his hand, and I felt the warm water of the bathtub touching me. "You have to relax, and if I waited to bath with you, we would do anything but that," he's not wrong.

I bit my bottom lip, "How can you use this incantation that makes you get what you want by snapping your fingers?"

Kneeling on the right side of the bathtub, he caressed the top of my head, "Practice. It helps a lot on my work field. Especially when I need to fight, since I can get whatever weapon I want in less than a second."

"Sounds overpowering. I don't think many people are able to use such incantation as fast as you, Jay. You are quite mysterious on these things," I tilted my head to the right, analyzing all I could see of him and he licked his lips. "You've ponded if I didn't want the power I could get if I let people know about my powers, and I can't help but to ask the same to you. From all I've seen of you until now, you are far from being a simple person, Jay. Don't you crave for more?"

When he inhaled, he seemed out of breath. Jay came closer, held my face in his hands and kissed me. "The only thing I crave for is you, Hope Ariella Bissonnette. I've never craved so much for anything in my entire 22 years old." He touched his forehead on mine, pressing his lips together, "And I already have power enough, Hope. I don't need nor do I want more than that. I'm not a fan of having the spotlight on me, that's why I prefer to stay away from others' hawk eyes."
