The skeleton in the suit snapped his fingers as the forest disappeared and they waited for his explanation but he just pointed towards the town while holding up three fingers. The surviving two hundred seventy three people walked into the city as there souls followed them. A lot of them didn't know what to do but most of them where able to infer that they are supposed to survive in the city for three days.
Jin looked around as he saw a big hulking old man with gray hairs on his head and his beard as he was surprisingly even taller than Jin. The man was carrying an axe as he watched over the forest and as he saw his men running out of the forest with a soul eater coming he threw his axe chopping its head off. The man went over picking up his axe cleaning it off with a whip then looking down at his men seeing one of his men had his leg and arm damaged. He sighed as he told them to take him to a hospital while he finds a new person to hire.
The man walked back to spot he was in as he looked around finally spotting the confused looking big man named Jin. He went over to the rather big man saying, "Hey you big man are you a grim reaper?" Jin nodded as if it wouldn't matter if he knew then the old man said, "Alright so what is your name and you look strong and you don't look to be around from here so why don't work from me." Jin thought for a bit and then finally replied, "My name is Jin and I don't have a way to make money now so sure I'll take it but can you explain it to me first."
The old man introduced himself as Dennis and explained that they worked for the lord and they needed to get wood from the forest but not just any wood but fairy wood that was made when fairies die. He then went on to say the job pays very well and it maybe hard but you get free food and a place to live so Jin didn't hesitate to say Yes. The job was done for today so the old man showed Jin his small but comfortable room and went on to inform the lord about Jin replacing the man who had been attacked.

After a good nice rest
Jin yawned as he got up from the bed going outside waiting for the others to come out so they can go ahead and start the job. After ten minutes the rest of the group went outside as Dennis gave him an axe telling them all to go and to make sure they helo the newbie. As they went into the forest they all ran trying to get to the tree they found yesterday which made Jin follow them.
As the ran the group seemed almost invisible as a man in the front said spirits could keep their abilities from their life so he was making them invisible. They soon got to the tree as the man who made them invisible took in a big breathe sitting down drinking some water. Jin then went to chopping the tree but as he hit it he felt his hands hurt because it was quite sturdy. He then used [Mana Adrenaline Peak rank F] then hitting the tree feeling it to be easier but a still not easy as it was large and he could only do little damage towards it.
Jin looked at everyone else cutting their own tree he saw there mana lacking but a moment before the impact it exploded making their hit even more explosive. He then wondered how to do this but it didn't matter as he thought of a better idea for now grabbing his katana activating a rune by pouring mana into it creating cheery blossoms petals. The petals then flowed around the his hand making a chainsaw like thing going near the tree using the chainsaw hand and chopping away with the axe.
As he hacked away at the tree the he began to feel the sun shinning on his back as he began to sweat and his mind went blank getting into a sort of zone not thinking just doing. After a little while he began to think about the days where him and his father would go visit his grandparents in the cabin and see his grandpa and dad chop down trees having a good time while he eat cookies with grandma.
He then began to look though the memories as he felt like he was going back in time but soon he felt a sudden memory pop back up that he hasn't thought of in a long time.

Jin's memory
Jin was eating cookies while playing some chess with his grandma and losing horribly as he was young and his grandma never once went easy on him. He looked at his dad and his grandpa walking back after then chopped up some firewood as his grandpa said, "Look I know son you love her and you have had a son with her but don't you see what she does to you and your son is terrible. Son look I have had people I loved and it didn't work out so please trust me and leave her quickly or you and young Jin here might end up in a grave."
Jin's father looked at his son then back to his father as he said, "Okay we are moving in a month so after we pack we will secretly take off in the night and come over here with our stuff then head far away to another city." They both nodded as Jin was gave a little chop to the head as his grandma said, "No snooping on other people and also get back to the game I haven't finished beating you up yet." The young Jin smiled as he saw this as a challenge and was ready to win this.
