The air was chilly and the growl became louder, it was as if the red and black smoke growled in their ear.
"I told you not to fight the demons, Keli," a voice whispered in her ear. "Now you are going to make me have to kill you and your friends."
"Drako? Is that really you?" Keliana asked still slashing at the smoke.
"I tell you what, I will give you five minutes to get out of here before I unleash my powers on you and your friends," the voice whispered once more.
"You know we can't leave unless the portal is closed," she replied to the wind.
"Who are you talking to?" Regan asked.
"You wouldn't believe even if I told you," she replied.
The red and black smoke disappeared and the way was once clear again.
"Guys we need to leave this area. We can follow the demon trail another time," Keliana said looking around for Drako.
She didn't want to fight her brother, not so soon after meeting him. If it came down to a battle she was going to make sure she won. But didn't want to find out so soon in the game who was better than who.
"We need to find the portal, first. Let's check that way pointing east," Regan said.
Keliana felt her right ankle pulsing and didn't want to lose her newfound friends.
"Guys, look I am sure nothing is there, so why don't you check the north, and I check the east, that way we cover more ground. Then I can go home for dinner." Keliana said.
Keliana rushed towards the East, slowing moving around the corner as she whispers, "Drako!" she waits for a few seconds before walking further and then whispers his name again.
"You can't keep calling my name like that, Keli." my followers may get the wrong ideas about us," he said.
"Look, why are you here?" Keli asked him.
"I told you not to fight the demons. I told you to lay low. Now Mondola wants whoever is leading this shindig against his demons. Not to mention, one of them is going against his wishes." Drako replied.
"I know, but we can't sit by and do nothing as these fiends ruin people lives and taking their souls," Keli responded.
"You are bringing Mondola to you. Just listen to what I say and leave now. Go somewhere else before he comes. If I don't bring him the head of someone now, he will come himself and trust me Keli, it will not be pretty." he explained.
"Okay, do what you can to bid us time, lead him to another dimension and we will do what we can to close this portal and move on to another country," Keli replied.
A few hours later...
The sound of swords clashing, angry shouts and screams carried into the bleak day. Blood was everywhere. Mondola had Dante and Drako in the heat of the battle of Gandlanza, south borders of Gerkandi and Sancia. Dante had found a traitor among them which led to this great battle between two domain strong men. Neither demon was willing to give an inch to the other and thus now conspired to overtake Mondola and anyone that stood with him.
Drako and Dante known as the twin devils, moved like berserkers, slashing and dashing anything that moved in their way. The demons had no chance against them and thus some possed human soldiers. Drako and Dante smiled as they moved stealthily to the army of possessed humans that now lay before them.
With each body they tore apart, they burned the demon that dared to defy them. With blazing red eyes and sharp claws for hands, the blood brothers moved with precision as they annihilated the army that stood before them with guns, bazookas, missiles and tankers. People scrambled for shelter as they ran from the battle that took a turn to their homes, their deadly smiles stopped you in your tracks as fear crept into the people's hearts. They soon forget to pray to their God as they try to fight in their own strength. As they try to defeat the fearless princes of darkness that took no prisoners and left no stone unturned, must now ask themselves the question where do we stand?
In the far east of the battle, an emergency meeting was underway. "You can't allow this to happen. We need to get the people to safety," Mashna said.
"There isn't anywhere the people can go. Those two demon monsters will destroy any territory their minds tell them to. There is only one thing that we can do as a nation," Ellis said.
"And what is that, sir?" Rishado asked.
"We need to pray. We need to realize we are not our own and without God, we will all die. For too long we have rebelled against God. It is time to repent. It is the only thing left to do," Father Leslie replied.
"I know you don't believe in God, but what do you have to lose now? You have already tried other gods and they have not sent any help. Why not try Jesus? We have to try calling on the fire of God to destroy these legions and those two maniacs," Father Tullo added.
The room went silent as they weighed the information. They knew something must be done. The other countries' armies were coming, but would they fair any different from the army they sent to defend their territory? They had the same weapons, what difference would they bring? Maybe we can try praying ...
"I know of a group of persons that can maybe help. They are priests who started a school for the gifted, an international organization of trained warriors. I am sure they can help turn the tides or the legions heading our way." Father Leslie offered.
"Where are they?" Mashna asked.
"They are high in the mountains, it may take a day or two to get word to them if we send a rider out to them now," Father Leslie replied.
"Don't they have a phone number you can call? After all, if they are gifted should they be more technologically advanced." Mashna countered.
"Sadly I don't know it, as I never needed their assistance before." Father Leslie replied.
