Chapter 13 - Nosy business or just care?

As we woke up after our devils tango, hungry and exhausted , my hubs recieved a phone call.

"Yah sure! Do come!", he replied.

"Who was it?" , adjusting my pillow half - naked I asked.

"It was Deb. He wanted to check up on you! And he is bringing dinner for us. That was the only reason why I said yes!"

"You wicked devil!", I smiled.

And there he was, an hour later. We welcomed him in.

"How are you now , Rebecca?" , he asked.

"Have never felt any better!" , I smirked.

"Well, I bought you guys dinner . Your favourite kimbap , jjangmeyon and some diced daicon!"

"Whats this all mumbo jumbo!", my husband confused.

"These are all oriental cuisines!", Deb replied.

"Oo! Fancy!" , he answered on his way to get plates.

"It was some 15 - 16 years ago, I wanted to try these foods ! But times have changed ..." , I whispered in an angry voice.

"But I want to be the one to fulfill your whims!I want to be the... "

"Here here! Them plates be here!" , excited my husband already filling up his plates.

"As we began eating , Deb and Hubs were busy talking and drifted off into my past.

It was during one of our pen pal exchanges that I talked about how much I wanted to try different cuisines especially oriental.

I was childish back then wrote about how the love of my life will treat me with dishes and cuisines all around the world.

Its creepy to know that he remembered it after so many years. This thought choked me and a began coughing.

And both of them put their glasses of water forward for me to take a sip.

My hubs in true sense of a gentleman tried to put down his glass , but I took his. I wanted Deb to know loud and clear that I had no and will never have any feelings for him whatsoever.

As he was leaving, I glanced upon his car - Black Sedan.

"Deb has a black sedan as well?", I enquired.

"Its his girlfriend's car!"

Weird right. Is his girlfriend the one following me all along? Probably in a rage of jealously? But then what about those letters? There's hardly any chance for her to know my old name.
