It had been a few days since I hadn't really seen the stalker. But today after my shift, I saw a black sedan parked nearby and suddenly when I was about to cross the road a fast pacing car stormed in and was about to crush me.
I had blackened out in fear but in a moments glimpse the black sedan whammed into it and changed it path.
I was saved by my stalker? It was worse than getting crushed. Both the cars fled the scene like a sports movie plot.
I was fine and rushed back home. Filled up my glass with gin and rum in attempts to compose myself. Most of the times I never drink but this crazy situation needed a moral boost.
I was perplexed at the thought of somebody trying to run me over and more by the fact that my stalker saved my life. Maybe it was a mistake but if it was then the owner of the car that was trying to run me over would've stopped to apologise. But..
My hubs came in as I laid flat drunk on the sofa.
"Hun!Hun!"
"Alive.. I'm here!", I replied.
He knew I was drunk and helped me get into my bed. While he held me in his arms, his face sweaty by the days work and me inebriated tried to kiss him and put my hands into his pants. I wanted it! Wanted it bad!
But my hubs has always been the gentleman. He stopped me from kissing or going any further and said, " When you wake up and still feel the same, we can go on!" And tucked me in.
I remember waking up at night, my head heavy from the hangover and my tummy hungry. But to my surprise, my hubs was nowhere to be found.
Where was he? His work clothes were still there, his boots as well but no sign of him. Had he left me? Was he alright?
I tried to ring him up and his phone went into voice-mail. I kept ringing on and on.
Only to my surprise, the phone was picked up by Deb and what he told me changed my entire perspective towards my life!
