"Dad don't leave me!! Please! "cried a 14 year old Mia. Her dad was leaving the house, frustrated by how his wife, Alina, treats him. Every day when he comes home, they fight about petty things. He was fed up of this. Mia was devastated by the news of her dad leaving. Mia was treated really bad by her mother. It's as if she is under her mother's leash and her father was the only way she could set herself free.
"Dad I will die here. Please don't leave!! "She herself knew that her mother would not let her live if her dad left. The only thing that kept her mom in a limit was her father. But if he leaves, Mia is finished. "I am sorry Mia; I have to leave. I love you. "Mia was pulling onto her father's coat, preventing him from going down the stairs.
Her mother came and held her by her hair, pulling her back. She was forced to leave her father's coat and reach her hand to the back of her head to loosen her mother's grip. "Mom, it hurts!! Let go!!"She cried. Alan could see the pain his daughter was in. He couldn't bear to see it. He quickly grabbed onto Alina's hand and made her let go off Mia's hair. "What do you want?!! You are leaving anyways!!! I will do whatever I want with her. "Alina shouted and reached for Mia's neck.
She was about to hold it but Alan pushed her behind causing her to fall of the stairs. She rolled down to the last step. Mia and Alan stood there staring at Alina's unconscious body. They both rushed to her. Alan checked her pulse and looked up at Mia. He shook her head in a no. Mia understood the sign and immediately burst into tears.
His father picked up Alina's dead body and went to the attic and put it there. He then locked the door and went to Mia who was still crying her heart out. "Mia it's ok. Dad will protect you. Don't cry. "
She nodded and tried to calm down. After she did Alan told her not to tell anyone about this incidence. He went and told the police that Alina had gone missing.
He made up a whole story about how she went out to buy something but didn't reach there and went missing before that itself. Since Mia and her family lived in the middle of a small forest, there were no CCTVs to prove anything so the police just had to believe what Alan said. Mia was also called to the police station from time to time but she didn't dare to speak a word since she didn't want to get her father in trouble.
Since she was a kid, the police assumed she was still traumatized by her mother's news so they excused her and didn't go very harsh on her. The police continued looking for Alina.
They even came for a house check. But luckily they didn't notice the attic because the door was hidden behind a wall and the secret passage to open it was only known by Alan and Mia.
Alina was a very famous writer hence the news of her going missing was wide spread. Everyone was shocked since she suddenly disappeared.
Alan read some comments that were written under Alina's missing news.
*OMG I can't believe she went missing.
A murder. This is a murder.
I hope she is alive. Poor her, there are no CCTVs where she lived either. The culprit will never be caught.
I never knew she had enemies. Well I guess you never know what is really going on in someone's life.
Oh poor Alina.
Alina deserved it. She was never good to anyone. She was just a mean little person. *
Alan sighed and put his phone away. He felt pathetic.
