Eros raised the whip again. Namara reflexively covered her face while shouting, "He's trying to investigate you, Master!"
Eros's brows furrowed immediately. "Don't trick me!"
"No. I dare not deceive My Lord," replied Namara. Her voice was soft, but still reassuring. Eros's hand hangs in the air. Finally, the silver whip disappeared. The man stepped back. "What did he ask?"
Namara removed her hand slowly. After seeing Eros walking away without holding a whip, she felt a little relieved.
Oh, God…. That man was scary.
Namara's head lowered. She replied, "Master Leor asked about our relationship. Did My Lord treat me well or not. And he also asked whether My Lord touched me or not."
Eros's expression instantly hardened. His brow furrowed deeper. "What's your answer?"
"I didn't answer outright. From the start, he looked like he was prying for information. I don't like him." She didn't like all of them, not just Leor.
Eros snorted. He didn't trust Namara just like that. However, there was nothing he could do about her. Maybe after this, he should give her more scrutiny.
"If until I discover your lie, then be prepared with a punishment that is heavier than this," threatened Eros coldly. Without saying anything else he immediately left.
Namara narrowed her eyes watching the figure of Eros who disappeared behind the door. After that, she squeaked before finally starting to whimper in pain.
Now red lines are printed on her arms, waist, and thighs. The lashes didn't leave blood like Verna's lashes, but somehow the pain was more than that.
"He is indeed an angel-faced demon."
Namara struggled to change clothes. She didn't care about the pain and the pain. Right now she felt uneasy thinking about Elise. What happened to that woman?
When Namara came out of the room she immediately saw several guards stationed in the corridors. Wretched. Eros tightened the guard.
"Miss, what are you going to do?" asked one of the guards. His face was expressionless.
"Mmm. I want to see what happened to Elise," replied Namara.
"Please stay in the room. Don't let Mr. Eros get angry again," another guard pleaded.
Namara pursed her lips disapprovingly. Finally, she turned around and returned to the room. Now it's getting harder and harder to move. If she had known the outcome would be like this then she would never have met Leor.
"What happened between the two brothers?" mumbled Namara after lying down in the room. Her body shivered slightly. Only now did she realize that her body needed treatment.
Namara's eyes closed. She'll just sleep. When she wakes up, hopefully, she won't feel sick anymore.

Meanwhile, Eros was still filled with emotions. He downed the red wine that was independently produced by the clan palace maids.
Others may not know. However, he understood what Leor was doing. If what happened was as Namara said then Leor was indeed investigating further about him.
"Why does My Lord look restless?" asked Lyco who had been watching Eros for a long time.
"I think I've been kind enough to never interfere in the affairs of the palace. Why is Leor feeling so worried?" asked Eros. "I'm not even interested in the title of clan head."
Lyco shook his head. He knew quite well what had happened between the two brothers. He also guessed what Leor might be thinking.
"My Lord, you don't want the position of clan head. However, Lord Midas is still considering everything."
Even though Midas often scolded Eros or even punished him, but everyone could see that the man liked Eros more than Leor. Why?
The reason is quite simple. It was because Eros and Leor were born to different mothers. Eros's mother, Irhea, was the second wife Midas loved. Unfortunately, the woman died while giving birth to Eros.
Meanwhile, Leor was born by Edheliel, Midas' main wife who is currently often sickly. The marriage was based solely on political relations between clans. So Midas didn't give that marriage a special privilege.
Even though Midas preferred Eros, he couldn't possibly pass the clan on to Eros. Leor who was born to the main wife and was older than Eros would certainly be more deserving of inheriting it.
"Yes. Maybe that's where the problem lies. Did Midas love my mother that much? I want to know how beautiful she is," said Eros in a low voice.
Lyco chuckled. "My Lord, there are already many paintings of Mrs. Irhea in the palace. Even her statue is in the center of the city."
Eros shook his head. He looked at Lyco and said, "Still it's not real."
Lyco just stayed silent without replying. Perhaps at this time, his master wanted to meet the figure who had given birth to him. After all, the man had never seen it in person.
"I guess as long as the clan head position isn't held, Leor will still feel threatened," Eros muttered to which Lyco immediately agreed.
Not too long ago several assassins were after Eros. After being investigated, it turns out that the mastermind is none other than Leor.
Perhaps from the outside, Leor was a man who seemed friendly and kind. The image is very good, in contrast to Eros. However, only a few people know what the real character is like.
"My Lord, it looks like someone is coming," said Lyco. Suddenly he felt a strong aura move into the building they were in.
"Yes. That's dad," replied Eros. He could detect his father's presence.
Sure enough. Not long after, the door opened revealing Midas who was standing with a gloomy face. The man entered without hesitation.
Lyco bowed for a moment before finally leaving the room. He would not interfere with the two people's conversation.
"Why did you come here, Dad?" Eros asked. Usually, Eros is called to meet Midas, not Midas who comes to meet Eros.
"I want to give you an assignment," Midas said. He snatched the goblet cup in Eros' hand. "You get drunk every day?!"
"Not really," replied Eros calmly. "What assignment would you like to give me?"
Midas snorted and threw the goblet on the floor making a loud clatter. "I want you to take over the Sun clan's western territory. I'm really mad at them."
Eros sighed in exasperation. Again taking over another clan's territory. His father is too greedy. Instead of taking over new territories, why not just finish the wars that are still going on in some border areas?
"What is it that makes Dad angry?" asked Eros.
Midas snorted. Remembering that made the already subsided anger rise again. He looked at Eros seriously. "Do you remember our dispute with the Sun clan?"
Eros nodded. That was about two or three years ago. At that time, the two clans were fighting over a territory that had hidden resources. That area was the small town of Winterbell.
However, suddenly sad news came from the Sun clan. The head of their clan and his wife died suddenly and unlucky. Eventually, their strength stretched and the Black Wings clan managed to take Winterbell territory.
"What's with the dispute?"
Midas gritted his teeth in anger. "They're spreading false news," he growled.
"What news?" Eros raised the corners of his eyebrows.
"They slandered the Black Wings clan who killed their clan head! How could I just keep quiet?!"
