Namara catches up. She walked along the cobbled streets until she finally saw a building that was larger than the few houses she had passed.
The structure and shape of the building look so old. It seemed that Namara had never seen a building older than that. It was like visiting a historical monument.
Just like the previous houses, this one big building has also been overgrown with moss and weeds. Several times she also saw small insects passing by.
In front of the building, there is a towering iron gate. The gate was not separated from the vines of the vines.
Namara entered the half-opened gate. It must have been Eros who had opened it. Now she arrived in front of the building but felt a little hesitant to enter.
It's a shame, but if being honest, she doesn't feel brave enough. What if an evil witch or wizard was inhabiting the building?
Before her mind wandered any further, she heard a commotion behind the building. Without hesitation, she walked around the building until she came to the rear.
Her feelings became relieved after seeing Eros there. The man was punching something she doesn't know what it was. After taking a step closer she could finally see clearly.
Eros was trying to open a square iron surface on the ground. However, it seemed that it could not be forcibly opened. Finally, the man changed his strategy. He started to draw a magic array on its surface.
She doesn't know what's behind it. Namara doesn't know. She was just observing. From what she saw, it seemed like Eros already knew something important was in there.
Eros' expression was unreadable. The man looked so focused. A while later the magic array finally formed perfectly. The shapes were so complex that Namara couldn't memorize them with just one look.
The array circle suddenly gave off a blue glow. Eros stepped back and suddenly an explosion occurred. The explosion wasn't that big, but it was enough to surprise Namara.
The dust immediately billowed. Luckily Namara wasn't too close to the center of the explosion. After the dust disappeared, a fairly large hole was immediately exposed.
Inside the hole was a medium-sized iron box that was slightly rusty. Eros jumped into the hole and took the iron box.
"What is that?" asked Namara. She couldn't contain her curiosity anymore. If Eros was still the same person as when they were in the palace of the Black Wings Clan, perhaps she wouldn't have dared to ask.
However, just as Namara thought earlier. The man seemed to have changed into someone else since changing his appearance. So, Namara wasn't so scared anymore.
Eros didn't answer Namara's question. He put the box on the ground and his brows started to furrow deeply. "You know that's not why I brought you here?" asked Eros.
Namara nodded. "Don't you want to find out about the symbol on my birthmark?"
Eros nodded. "This place is the former Selshi Academy which was founded hundreds of thousands of years ago. One of the teachers here is a very old woman," he said.
"She has already passed through two eras, namely the Ancient Era which ended 300,000 years ago, and the New Era or the era that has lasted until now. If we ask that woman for mystical symbols… she will know it," he added.
Namara is shocked to hear this. She had indeed heard of the Ancient Era. Yes, the Ancient Era is known as an era that has many mysteries of life. Doesn't that person mean very old?
"In that case, how could this place…." Namara's sentence hangs.
"Destroyed?" asked Eros. Namara nodded hesitantly.
"Thris said Selshi Academy had an attack and they went missing in one night. No one knows where they went," replied Eros.
Namara felt a little disappointed by this news. After all, Selshi was one of her hopes. What if Eros had no more acquaintances who might be able to find out about mystical symbols?
Even so, she was also amazed. This place turned out to be historic. If she could have known this a few years ago she probably wouldn't have been too late.
Namara sighed. She looked at Eros with a complicated look. Why did the man look so serious about this? That is, she felt that Eros knew Selshi very well. Could it be that the man had certain attachments?
Suddenly Eros looked at her. "That woman knows my mother well," he said as if to answer Namara's confusion.
"Her name is Atne, a great mage on this continent. I've learned a few things from her," continued Eros.
"Oh..." Namara nodded in understanding. No wonder Eros rushed to Selshi, it turned out that this place meant something to him.
"Then when did the attack take place?" asked Namara.
"Three years ago."
"Was it really because of the assault?" Namara had doubts because Selshi looked fine. There is no significant damage apart from the damage caused by nature. There are no traces of explosions or weapons left.
"Don't you doubt it? I feel that way too," said Eros.
"Maybe it's not as simple as it looks," said Namara. Only this time they agreed and thought the same.
Eros didn't say anything else. His hand began to move drawing the same array as before on the surface of the box. However, this time no explosion occurred.
A 'click' sound was heard after the magic array was fully formed. Eros immediately opened the lid of the box. And after that, a white cloth flew straight out of the box.
"Hahaha..." A chuckle suddenly came out of the cloth. The shape is a small square. Miraculously the cloth jumped and danced in the air giggling.
Namara who saw that was immediately flabbergasted. What is that? How can cloth live and laugh? Could someone have put a spirit into it? This is a little… surprising.
"Is there something you want to say?" asked Eros.
The cloth swirled cheerfully in the air as if it didn't hear Eros' question. Suddenly the cloth slid nimbly at Namara and hit her face while giggling.
Namara could only stare without knowing how to respond. Then the cloth slid down her nose like it was playing on a slide. Not only that, the object landed on Namara's chest and stuck to it tightly.
"You...." Namara was at a loss for words. The cloth looks like a bastard man who loves to cling to a woman's chest. Truly insolent.
Eros who saw this became furious. He immediately pinched the cloth and dragged it away from Namara. "You are a little bastard," he said.
It seemed the cloth was afraid of Eros. It immediately stiffened and stopped moving.
"Tell me, what happened?"
The cloth was silent as if it was angry and reluctant to speak to Eros. The man was starting to run out of patience. His hands gripped the cloth until it made it howl in pain.
"Ouch… okay I'll talk! But, let me go first…," the cloth groaned. Its voice sounded like a little boy's voice pleading.
Namara became sullen. No wonder the cloth immediately ran to her. It turns out that even cloth can be shameless.
Furthermore, Eros stopped torturing that thing. "Don't play with me," he said in a slightly threatening tone.
The cloth groaned and then complained. "I just came out after three years of being locked in a box. Don't you feel sorry for me? Ah, that Lady… don't you feel sorry for me too?"
"If you say nonsense again, believe me, the man in front of you will burn you," said Namara quietly.
"Okay!" The cloth suddenly straightened its whole body, yes, let's just say it was its body.
Then it said, "That old granny told me to wait for a savior. Could it be you guys?"
