"Do you have a girlfriend?" Anna asked, holding her breath.
Anna squealed inside her mind. Has she gone berserk? The moment she spelled those words, she was sure to get a shocked expression. Theodore is thinking she is mad probably by now. Though looking at him, he looked more amused than shocked.
"No," she was answered by him, though she thought she wouldn't be. But for no reason, she felt like a heavyweight lifted from her heart. Maybe taking care of a guy who has a girlfriend would be a bit scandalous?
"Hehhe, you are not shocked by my question, are you?" Anna awkwardly smiled.
"Why would I?"
"No?"
Isn't he supposed to be? A handsome employed bachelor is supposed to have a girlfriend, right? Or being in a relationship is not his thing? Anna tried to place him as those so-called playboy heroes in her mind but somehow it didn't suit him. He was too overwhelming to have this kind of character.
"I often hear these questions," Theodore answered expressionlessly.
