She had her usual jovial mood, her legs happily running towards me but the timing was both unexpected and wrong.
"Hey Rebecca, whatcha doing here?"
"Um nothing...much crucial."
"Oh yeah? But why did you need my horse though?" She didn't await my answer and went on to pat her horse but I was only concentrated on my agenda.
"Addy can you leave please?"
"Wait what? What do you mean?"
"Look um. I'm really busy right now, so I don't have the time to talk to ya. See you at school tomorrow?"
"Rebecca, are you ignoring me? I know we haven't talked face to face for 4 yearsa but you can't really_"
"No no Adeline! Stop assuming things! First off, you come and keep annoying for like a millionth time. Secondly, you say I'm ignoring you? What type of a brat are you? Don't you have any other friends or are you that much insensitive witch _" I stopped midway of my exaggeration, coming to senses of what I was saying. Every word I regretted but I had nothing to say except sorry.
"I-I thought communication through he-heart is what true be-best friends needed bu-but_" the corners of her eyes brimmed with tears and not to burst out, she covered her mouth and ran away.
"No, no Addy!" I called out to her many times but her little frame disappeared as she ran. I slapped my forehead for my stupidity which still was known to no one.
My heart was aching both mentally and physically, and the previous bitterness on my face flew away to a weary sadness.
What was happening with me?
"Something you might regret , Reccy." Casper whispered but I ignored his words and got determined to focus on my mission.
I was about to exit the forest to the last one , with only a faint hope but that's when I realized I left the horse by mistake.
"And seemed like luck finally decided to change its side." Casper scoffed.
A tiny beam of dark light shone above the horse's back.
"Is-is that a damn pixie?" I asked Casper in a hushed tone.
"Finally."
"Oh babes, your naughtiness had reached its doom!" I yelled enthusiastically before running towards that cutie bastard with my ariel insect net.
I dangled the net on the horse's back from behind and the pixie was right on catch. But that moronic horse got hit as well and defensively kicked me with both of his legs, making my body go back smacking against a tree.
"And now the pretty audience enjoys the smart plot twist of our luck."
"Stop being an invisible unwanted host and lend a hand here!" I complained.
He forwarded a visible hand for me and I frowned, "Why the hand?"
"You said to lend a hand."
"Ughhh, I hate you! I-you ughh!" I attempted to slap his hand back but he made it go invisible, "I will take care of you later."
I got up with my own balance system but slipped on the wet ground.
"And now it is surely proven that luck abhores my sweet Reccy. Haha."
"Stop laughing and actually lend me your hand this time!"
He did seriously and I got up, aiming for that pixie who was probably vanished into thin air.
My eyes fell on the net and I witnessed a tiny brilliant tangerine coloured celestite crystal glowing in the dark.
"OMG yes! It's the pixie's Sepphire Crystal, which contains all its power including his capability to turn invisible_"
"Which means he can't really turn invisible or contact his fellow mates, so we still have time to find him!" I exclaimed joyfully, interrupting his statement.
I pushed my hand into my pockets to get my other teammates and utilize their presence for the while. I explained the situation and said to find him for it would be easier for them to find someone their own size.
"Now run along!" I waved my hand and went myself for the search.
After almost half an hour, I rested on my knees and bowed my head down.
Just as I lifted it, my eyes caught that same faint dark light.
There he was. Widened cat-eyes of cerulean coloured frightened at my sight.
He was about to take a turn so instantly I got up from the ground but he already made a run for it.
And for the first time, luck decided to pay me my debt.
All my other friends- miniatures surrounded him but still he made attempts to escape.
"Joey? Don't you think you had too much of deprivations for two days by just this tiny body?" I poked her, but only for I knew the result.
"Oh Rebecca, this guy has too many debts to complete. Like I literally missed my skating contest for-for all this shit!" She slightly punched her knuckles on her other hand with a quite naughty smirk.
"First let's see if you can live. Then participate in the contests loser." The pixie giggled shamelessly, infuriating Joey's anger to an intense level - as far as I knew her. Lol.
As to my expectations, Joey literally jumped on him. She continued to smack him on his back and we laughed at his groans.
She then got up and grabbed his hair, hauling it down on the ground. Furthermore for the ending, she kept thumping on his small butt.
After a contented assault on the pixie, we threatened him of his life to show us the entrance. But man he was a bull-headed mule.
Then again, we had Joey for the job.
The split-splitting scene ended just as it started; by and by the pixie agreed and we have him his crystal.
He endeavoured for a sly escape , well we had Joey again.
She pinched his ear and pushed him towards the tree where he told it was the way.
"Hihaclo jentari!" He stuttered ina loud tone and it created an exotic green portal but too much tiny for me to go inside.
We all thought for a while to what to do, with the pixie still in captive.
"Got it! Okay look. Gonna be straight. All four of you get inside and I'll guid through my ear pods."
"But wait. Look this pixie has pristine olive skin an-and some weird features. And they will easily recognise us for we are the VIPs. Haha VIPs." Travis stated and I again gave it a thought.
"Wait, doesn't anyone's spirit have any power to...to you know give a makeover? Like_"
"Oh yeah yeah. I completely forgot. My stepdad's got the power. Nice thinking though girl." Joey uttered and without any further ado, we set off forward to our schemes.
Joey's pale skin altered to a yellow shade with freckled and pointy nose and ears with fancy body wear. Clay got a darker look with the same features and the other two gained tanned colours.
Clay put the ear pods under his fancy dress, which made him look a bit more portly.
As they went through, I kept guiding them to directly go to the king and persuade him with flattering words to get inside the castle.
I decided to peek inside the portal hole before it closed and something poked my eyes. I couldn't figure out whether it was dust or a certain object and ignored for that part.
The connection through the Bluetooth device went on smoothly and they were bargaining with some shopkeepers for a thing they were assumed to 'steal.'
I was about give them some advice on the quarrel but abruptly, a flashes of a particular scene hit me consistently. Electric pain behind my eyes made my head pound heavy and spinning.
Unable to resist the pain, I rested my head in my hands and began to rub my temples.
And for the final, it stopped and a vision cane into my head.
Pixie dust hung in the air while the tiny beings dove through it, lastly elixir. They all were pixies spinning through the air and seemingly market places.
The place was gloomy in the cool dusky air but with appalling fancy clothes.
And there I saw them walking down the streets.
"I-I can see you guys!" I informed them with a more detailed info but all of us were befuddled on the scenario.
But moreover, that made it easy for me to guide them to what I saw far beyond.
They encountered with the guards which were quite touch lil men to say.
"Oh hey man! What's up?" Clay began along with Joey and the others but there wasn't a slightest of response from the statue-like pixies.
"We-we are the...cobblers and chefs from a faraway country. Fro-from Antarctica! Amazing faraway country, mu-must I say!"
"Most wondrous faraway state thee sayeth?" One guard cocked his eyebrow with suspicion and surely colour drained of Clay's face. With one finger, he moved his collar for probably entrance of some air as he gulped. Poor guy.
"Ind-deed sir. That's whateth I sayeth. Now couldeth you taketh us to the great incredible king?"
The guard was silent and whispered something to the other guard's ear.
"Nay, f'r the ones who is't doesn't knoweth yond the king is a queen, thee might not but nev'r ent'r. Anon runneth hence 'r visage thy consequences!" He yelled threateningly and Joey came forward, "Let me do the talking and you do the ending. " She smirked but Clay didn't comprehend her signs.
"She meant she would distract the guard whilst you sneak into. But anyway didn't any of you learn law? I mean we would love to get a lawyer right now." I scoffed through the air pods but Clay grunted, "I thought I was in the distraction list."
"Go Clay!" We all whispered together and instantly regretted, hoping they didn't hear us.
"Didst anyone sayeth 'go clay'?"
"But wherefore wouldst anyone bid claydoh to runneth? t's a non living thing, right?" The guards started to talk withing themselves but didn't last.
"Joey! Flirt with them! That's enough to get their hard cores soft. " I demanded, after they came to the side for a discussion.
"Yeah she's hot enou-" Travis stated -half before he paused when Joey glared at him, "I-I mean she is not uh...un-hot-pretty. HAHA right?"
"Look, Joey. You can do this!"
"Dude! I'm-im a dude! The-these things- I can't. I can't possibly flirt with them! I don't know how to."
"I know!" Austin lightened up and we turned to him, "It's simple, walk with your legs always over the other in like a straight line with both of your hands to your waist. Then push out your lips and have a confident look. Use darling words and sweetheart. "
"Yeah then like their booties are so visible and fluffy like balloons. I don't know how they show it like- oh sorry. I-I.."
The boys laughed at him but Joey was just about to knock him down.
After a flattering persuasion, Joey agreed.
Before we could correct her mistakes , she was far gone and I really didn't know about any of these flirting techniques. So we had to keep going.
She literally stamped awkwardly with her legs over the other one. Instead of holding the side waist, she kept her palm on her belly.
I kept telling her something was wrong but myself was not aware of the specifications.
I mentally facepalmed myself.
This girl's a serious one, must I say.
"He-Hellow boysss." She stuttered at first, quite nervous but solemn, "Wha-what are you doing?"
"Well, what are you doing?"
"Oh! How rude of you to-to question a girl's question! Especially not a normal typical gir- I mean pixie!"
"So you are abnormal and you forgot the way to the mental hospital?" One guard asked calmly.
"No you idio- I mean no da-darling. You-you don't suppose I may be such a thief eh?" According to Austin, she did it this thing right.
Joey steadily went forward towards one of the guards and chased his tie with her forefinger from top to the belly.
The guard was resisting the urge to flirt back by gritting his teeth but couldn't control his smirk.
They had an awkward conversation for a while and I watched Clay slide through the corner.
When before he could, the other guard however tugged him by his collar and he only chuckled.
The guard was taller so he picked him up. Nervous plus fear gripping him, he looked afterwards and back.
Then his face lit up like he had an idea.
"Oh puhleez. You are so weak you cant even throw me away to that market stall. C'mon can you?"
"Why the hell are you provoking them? Why the fuck are you inviting your death sentence?!" Joey exclaimed as the other pixie held onto to her.
Just as he winked back, he continued his blabbering -until the guard hurled him and Clay toppled over to a distant stall, breaking it down.
The shop owner probably stomped forward aiming for the impulsive guard and now I was getting to what Clay clinged into.
"Naughty guard! I shall heave the gorge on thy livings, for Dark lord's sake!"
"Behold knave, i didst not meanteth to hitteth thy stack of_"
"Break thee off, thee clotpole! thee bethink thee has't pow'r just because thee guardeth the area? i'll showeth thee pow'r!! With that, the dwarf fell upon the guard and a brawl broke into the streets afterwards.
Snatching that chance, they both hurried into the palace.
Soon enough they encountered two other guards but could swiftly went through and they confrmed about the first two guards who let them in at first for they were some personages.
The throne room felt silent and the tall oak doors so carelessly flung open with medieval themes carpets and walls.
There the queen remained in her throne, gripped tight on the cold metal arms and poised comfortably straight to watch the guests.
But most appealing object was the enormous crystal displayed behind .
"I'll go and distract the queen while you guys destroy the crystal with Clay's hammer. Kay?" We all agreed on what Austin said and I craved for our victory.
Confident and firm, Austin stepped forward and curtseyed to the queen.
"My highness. It's such a pleasure to being able to meet a gorgeous young lady such to you. How do I say, you might just be the most beautiful woman- no.. girl in the whole universe." He continued to flatter onto the qualities of the so called queen who seemed to resist his charms.
Was it a good thing to be happy for, I might say but there was a scratching sensation that pestered me with that moron's actions.
"That's not really jealousy, if that's what you are thinking Casper."
"Uh no. Of course not. It's you who is thinking that." And that's when you know- to ignore him.
The guards left the throne room, obeying to the joyful queen, who was well enjoying Austin's company. Good for her.
Before too long, the three others sneaked sideways with the pillars lending them a hand for hide and seek.
Clay brought out his tiny hammer to a massive size which only deteriorated the situation.
He fell backward and thumped the hammer, taking the scrutiny from pixie queen.
As Clay was unable to get up , Travis pulled him from the back and Joey assisted in hauling his hands in front.
In the unbalanced prompt state, Clay got up suddenly and Travis lost his balance, flipping over Clay up onto Joey.
I would laugh at their romance, but the guards were too manly for the time being.
"Guards! Guards?!" Not taking response from them, she screamed with a high pitched voice enough to make someone deaf. And yes, "GUARDS!"
Unknown, Clay's earphones fell during the fall and her white canary voice deafened his ears. Damn.
"Get these intruders in the dungeons!"
Now it was gonna be hell of a scooby dooby run.
