Chapter 80 - SONG

ELLIS' POV

"Mom, do you know any songs that fit my voice?" I asked while she's doing something in the kitchen.

"Is this for your competition?"

"Yeah. And I was thinking of singing. What do you think?" 

"It sounds great, Ellis. Don't be shy on showing the world what you've made of." Mom smiles and walks to the living room.

I chuckle, "It's a small competition in the university, don't worry."

"But many will watch. Can I watch?"

"No, don't come. I already feel embarrassed."

Mom pats my back, "You and Eros are the same banana, you know that?"

"Same banana?"

She nodded, "That's the same reaction I got when he first competed."

Really? Eros? He's shy? Why didn't I hear about that? But smiling deep inside got me hoping that I'm not the only one who's embarrassed.

I looked over my phone and searching for a song that fits my voice and that I know how to sing it.
