Chapter 68 - DISTANT

EROS' POV

"Son, place these trays on the back," Mom says as she gives the trays to me after I open the blinds by the glass windows.

"Okay."

When I returned the trays at the back, the door opens and I see Ellis bringing drinks and food to us. He smiles and says, "Mom, they're out of plain croissants but I bought ham and cheese croissants instead."

"Good job, sweetie." Mom smiles and I walked to them asking, "Why would you buy those when we have the same thing here?" It's Sunday and I already finished my projects, and I want to help mom at the bakeshop, preparing for her Christmas edition pastries.

"Mom wants to compare both pastries," Ellis answered.

They both tried it and looked at each other until they both laughed.

"Well, which is which?" I asked.

"This is nothing compared to mine!"

"Mom's right. Hers much more!" Ellis smiles and continues, "But, it's a waste if I don't eat it."
