[ELLIS' POV]
"Can I call you dad?"
His face lightened up, and it seems to me that he doesn't believe in what I have just asked.
Yes, it is hard to believe in some cases of others, because I am the person who didn't get mad at him, or doesn't resent him.
Normally, people like me wouldn't meet their biological parents because at first, why? Why would they meet them if, in the first place, they already left them, sold them to somewhere, or left them in an orphanage. And when they grow up, they don't want to meet them anymore.
In my case, this is similar but, it became uncommon compared to them. I am meeting my biological father without resentment, I am meeting him because I'm okay with it.
"Y-yes! O-of course, I would like you to call me dad." He says in excitement and I can feel that he's beginning to show his true feelings and I am grateful for it.
"Okay... dad," I say.
