Chapter 41 - STRANGER

[ELLIS' POV]

"Ros, why are you clinging to me?" I asked him while he's hugging me and while I am walking to get my things and get ready for work.

"Because I know you are mad at me."

"I said I am not mad at you. There's no reason to get mad at you LAST NIGHT." Which I emphasized the words last night to him. But I'm not mad at him.

"But you are sleeping and not facing me, El, it's not you at all." He pouts acting like a kid.

I smile and tap his arm, "I'm not mad okay? I just don't want to talk about that, because it's not important."

"Why isn't important? He's still your father."

"Ros, I said I don't want to talk about it."

"Can you let me explain?" He asks and doesn't want to let go of his hug.

I sigh.

"Are you not curious on why I know that he's still alive and wants to see you?"

"No."

"Why not?"
