Chapter 5 - chapter 5: freshers

The students were taken to the meds, treated for injuries and continued their journey to the base of the revolution.

In a room on the lower decks of the leading ship named stronghold, Raya, a few of her subordinates and the captain gathered in a round table to discuss the events that had occurred. "How did the wildfire tyrants get notice of the transfer students. This was not part of the plan." The tension in the room rose as those present continued to argue.

"Rohan! Where is the commander incharge of the transport today?" yelled one of the subordinates at the captain. "He was supposed to protect the children. Where did he run off to"?

"I... I... I don't know I had to do everything myself. The wildfires were able to tell where and when the transport was happening, and he was not here during the attack. What does that tell us?" replied captain Rohan.

There was a moment of silence with turned to anger. Raya sat in her chair with her legs crossed as the rest boiled in anger. "I know we shouldn't jump to conclusions, but it is too convenient to say otherwise. He is a traitor to the revolution." said Raya as she cracked the table in front of her.

"The kids almost died today. This was unprecedented and would have been a huge loss and disgrace to the revolution. Out of 220 students scheduled to arrive at the base, 30 are completely fine, 130 injured, 50 are critically injured and we have 10 students missing (all who are presumed dead). This is a horrible situation We must tell the kids this was all part of the test. Tell them that those missing were rushed to the base on life support, but they made a full recovery and are fine. It pains me to say but, we have to lie to them." said General Raya as she clenches her fist so tightly it began to bleed. She was obviously trying hard to conceal the tears, 'this is the tough decision of a leader she thought'.

Immediately, the captain rebutted. "We have to tell them; the world is not as kind as you are. They need to be strong for what's to come; they need to know how dangerous the job is. We should not spare any information."

"But the students will be devastated. Some of them will be too devastated, they will leave the Revolution. Today was traumatic enough for them. Let us do what she said."" exclaimed another of Raya's subordinates.

"And lying to them is better? We will be no better than the tyrants" exclaimed Captain Rohan.

The room was in divide, everyone and everything grew silent, and everyone was focused thinking of a plan, solution or just plain old panicking. The room continued to stay quiet for minutes that felt like hours. The ships continued to rock on the sea as the waves splash on its sides.

The students are in their rooms taking a nap. After their stressful encounter, they surely needed one. Sota woke up and begun to stare at the ceiling, flashes of the fight continue to play in his head as he tried devising ways, he could have changed the outcome of the fight. "Although it was a test, i still feel guilty and weak. I must get stronger."

Suddenly a loud horn was sound, and the waves of the sea got 5 times as worse, causing the ships to swerve back and forth. The strong waves pushed the ships back; the distress caused the students to sprint up to deck as they wondered what was happening.

"Was it another attack?" The students rushed up as they grabbed their weapons but to their surprise, it was not an attack, it was grand. Two enormous gates had opened causing the irregularity of the sea. Noticeably there was a giant logo right at the center of the two gates. It is the symbol of the revolution. The symbol is a hand in a fist position holding a scale with two moons on each side, while one moon was noticeably bigger than the other, they were both balanced equally.

The ships slowly sailed inside as the gate closed behind them. This is the revolution; such a display at the entrance left a student in awe They were finally here. The start of their goals. The students got off the ship unto dry land, as they took in the scenery.

A young lady dressed in suit and a slim skirt walks up to the students with a book in her hands. She has a smile that could charm all men and with the look of every high school boy's dream teacher. She had pretty makeup, short hair and big thighs. "Welcome to the base of the revolution. My name is park Hyun Seo, and I will be your tour guide for today. It is nice to meet all of you." All the boys and a few girls immediately turned hot red and streams of blood shot from their noses. Patchow!. They passed out unconscious.

A giant fortress with lots of machinery, equipment, battle ships, weapons, building and so much more. The base was on an island that took a circular shape with two entrances (gates) guarded by top notch security. With the buildings growing taller and taller as they went towards the center of the island. They boarded an express train that took them to their meeting place, while simultaneously being given a tour of the island.

The base of the revolution is divided into 5 parts or regions: The technology and invention region, military, social and democratic affairs, import and export, and finally at the center of the island where most of the leaders, strongest, most influential and important members of the Revolution reside; the Stronghold region.

"Whoa, this place is awesome." murmured the students as they took it all in. Amazed by the sheer beauty and the architectural genius of the base of affairs, it's no wonder they are so powerful. As the tour continued the students noticed multiple express trains beside them, some moving at an equal speed. Inside the train was a group of teens, all of which aged from 15-18.

"Uhm, are those students just like us?" asked Annie as she points to the other express train.

"Yes. You are not the only set of students getting into the revolution. Do you not know this?" replied the tour guide?

"NO. I guess I never gave it much thought." replied Annie

"it's okay, the revolution has multiple islands across the globe. We train students like you to fight for the greater good. Those who get into the revolution for the first time are called freshers."

"The academy for the revolution is mostly made up of war orphans and children or families of current revolutionary members. The minority are those who volunteered to fight for a period, just like in the military and those who willingly chose the revolution as their job or lifelong accomplishment. No matter how and why you joined, you are all welcome to serve." said the tour guide as the kept on moving.

Sota had his face ridiculously planted on the window of the train, marveling at the view. His cheeks swell up as he put his hand on his head; Sota was excited. A few minutes later they arrived at the biggest and tallest Building right in the middle of the island, it was approximately 1000 feet tall and consisted of multiple towers at its sides. The tower had the symbol of the revolution; but, as a statue instead of a painting. A giant sculpted logo close to the top of the tower made it possible for everyone to see.

As they got in they began walking through a very long hall, with lots of pictures and documents to their meeting place. They got to see multiple pictures of the former leaders and heroes of the past. They also learned more information about the revolution; the history and start of the revolution. Who started the revolution? Why was it created? Who are we fighting against? And how can we serve? These were all told in the halls in form of a story. A history lesson of the world; the truth.
