Chris and Cherry were sitting in a restaurant for having lunch as they have just finished their shopping for the engagement
Princess, I'll drop you at the hospital and from there I will go to the office because I have an urgent meeting with a client.
It's okay Chris, Charles is going to pick me from here. You can go to the office.
"Why is he gonna pick you, Will you please explain?" he asked sternly.
"He wants to meet the mother and wants to apologies to her", she replied calmly.
They both talked about some random stuff when Charles entered the restaurant, "Hey love birds, done with your shopping, " Charles said, flashing his sweet smile.
Chris scoffed at his comment and looked towards Cherry, Princess I should take my leave now, see you tomorrow and take care of yourself, he kissed her forehead and left while giving a death glare to Charles, in return Charles just smirk.
Charles lets go as we have to discuss some important things on our way to the hospital.
"My lady I'm starving let me have a quick bite then we will get going.", he pleaded dramatically.
"Oh! really sorry Charles, I forgot that you came here from your office, please eat first then we will go", she said apologetically.
"It's okay sweetie, I'll be quick", he said with a smile.
Charles called the waiter and ordered his food then he looked towards Cherry and asked, "Do you wanna have anything sweetie."
"Thanks, for your concern Charles, but I'm full, but I will not mind a coffee", she said with a smile.
Charles was eating food while Cherry was sipping her coffee when she asked, "Charles, I think someone is following me for few days as I can feel someone's presence around me all the time and it is freaking me out."
"Have you seen someone following you?", Charles asked with a concerned look.
"It's just a gut feeling Charles, I feel someone stalking me all the time.", She replied in a scared tone.
Charles has just finished his lunch, He looked into Cherry's eyes and said, "Don't worry my two men will follow you from now. Get up now otherwise, we will be late."
Cherry got up grabbed her purse and started to walk behind Charles. they climbed into the car and drove off. At the hospital, Mr Kim just came out of the ICU after checking on Cherry's mother.
Good Afternoon Mr Kim, "How is my mother's condition?" she asked in a concerned tone.
"She is the same there is no improvement in her condition, Cherry doesn't take me wrong but I think it's time that you should prepare yourself for the worst.", he explained in a sympathetic tone
Cherry was shaking but she had to be brave in front of her mother. They both entered the room, Charles went towards her mom,

Cherry came towards him and put her hand on his shoulder, she will forgive you, Charles, after all, you are her prince, you're the one whom she adores more than her own daughter.
They both sat there in complete silence when a nurse told them that meeting hours are finished so they should go. Cherry and Charles left the hospital and went towards the park. They both sat on the bench in their deep thoughts.
You know Charles when you left me without any proper explanation, mom used to stay with me all the time to make sure that I'll not take the wrong step. She used to tell me that you must have some reason to leave me. She used to stand behind me like a strong pillar. She helped me a lot to came out of that depression, While saying that she burst into tears. Charles hugged her and she kept her head on his shoulder, tears were continuously streaming down her eyes
"Be strong sweetie, your mother is a fighter, she will not like to see you in this condition.", he said while holding her in his arms.
Charles dropped Cherry at her place and then drove off. Cherry went inside and slumped into the sofa, her mind was blank, she got up and went towards the cabinet to grabbed a bottle of Whiskey. Then went out of her house and went towards her car. She started the engine and drove off the car towards the bank of the river. She sat on the bonnet of the car and started drinking whisky. Even though she was highly tolerant to drinks but this time she was feeling lightheaded. She drank half bottle and then laid down on the bonnet. She took out her phone from her pocket and made a call.
"Hello Miss Yang, how are you doing and what about this sudden call", that person asked in a worried tone.
"Who are you?", Cherry asked furiously.
She was talking drunk. " Are you, fine Miss Cherry?", He asked sternly
"Shut up and listen to me, I'm not interested in listing to your nonsense", she said angrily.
You know I am so lonely, my mother is on a deathbed but I can't do anything for her. Do you know how much helpless I'm feeling right now? She kept rumbling so many words in her drunk state.
There was a look of sadness on his face, he wanted to go and to hug her in his arms. He wanted to save her from her loneliness but he was not able to do anything.
He hung up the call and called Mark. "Hello! Mr. Zang", he said politely.
"Do you know where is Miss Yang?", he asked in a flat tone.
"She is near Xavier park which is near to a riverbank", he replied.
"Keep an eye on her, she is depressed, don't leave her alone", he ordered firmly.
"Yes, Mr. Zang", He replied politely.
Ryan hung up the call and texted Cherry's address to Charles.
He was sitting in his office making a presentation for his upcoming conference when he got a call from Cherry. His mood lighted up by seeing her name on the phone screen. But after talking to her he just wanted to go back to her.
Charles rushed towards the address which he got from an unknown number. He ran towards Cherry's car. Cherry was soundly sleeping on the bench in the park. Charles took out his coat and put it on Cherry and then picked her up and started walking towards his car.
