Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess who was wondering in the woods playing with her friends. She was like a shining star, everywhere she goes she brings happiness to that place.
She was so beautiful that her parents never wanted her to go out in the cruel world. But the little girl was always curious about the outside world. She now and then sneaked out of the castle and wondered in the woods.
One day while she was playing in the woods she saw that there was someone injured in the woods and her kind heart wanted to help them. The little girl helped the injured animals and took care of them. The two big wolfs were saved by the little girl.
But they also took the little fairy with them.
Time went by and the fairy forgot about her real family her real life her self. She continued to live with the wolfs considering them her family.
The lonely and empty sad life of the wolfs turned into a happy one with her presence they felt at home with her they felt at peace. They never wanted her to leave them and they again like her parents caged her, protecting her from the outside world, not knowing they were the one she needed protection from.
Derek's painful voice stopped echoing in the room as he also stopped writing. His hand wont move. His fingers tightened around the pen. He didn't knew what the future held for them. He didn't knew what would happen when she would come to know the truth. But he didn't wanted to lose her.
He looked at the angel lying peacefully on the bed, an IV attached to her small hand. She looked pale. Its been two weeks and she still hasn't woken up.
The doctor told them that the oxygen supply to her brain was cut off for a few minutes so she went into a coma. And they were not sure when she would wake up. They could only wait and pray for her. He told them to talk to her that might help her in waking up as she might hear them.
There was complete silence in the room except the beeping sound of the machine that showed her heartbeat. That was the only thing that pacified them.
She is alive. She will wake up. With these thoughts they pacified themselves and eachother.
"I'm...sorry." His guilt and hurt laced whisper was heard as a lone tear escaped his eyes. He himself was a child but the burden on his shoulders was no less then an adults. But the one whom he was apologizing couldn't hear him.
"I...do.nt..even have.." he gulped down his whimpers "co.urage..to..look" a few tears leaked from his eyes but he didn't tried to remove them.
"At you"
"I'm....really... sorry." He choked.
"Come...back."
He continued to ask for forgiveness and continued to apologize as tears streamed down his face. The guilt and self loathe was eating him alive.
But she couldn't hear him.
Lawrence was standing outside listening to his brothers broken voice. He knew how he felt right now because he was feeling the same.
Lawrence and Derek never left her alone even for a second. They were always with her. They took turns to sleep and spend time with her. Even the King himself spent his free time with her.
Norway is a cold country. But at this time of the year the weather is mild, not so cold and not so hot.
But the atmosphere in the castle was similar to the ice-cold winter. In the huge castle there were only four people living except the servants. The King himself, the two Princes and the beloved little Irsa.
A month has passed in a blink, but Irsa was still in her deep slumber not showing any signs of waking up. The brothers were losing their hope but at the same time couldn't do anything except waiting patiently.
The sudden darkness was scaring her. She didn't wanted to be anywhere near darkness. Her beautiful garden and castle where she was playing with her new friends suddenly disappeared and now she was in a completely room. It was suffocating her. Then she saw a little girl sitting in a corner of the room trying to hide her self more into the wall. She was looking so pitiful and sad. She was so small. When she looked at Irsa, she suddenly froze.
The girl was exactly like her. It scared her to no end and she screamed running from there.
She kept running and running until she found some light at the end of the dark alley, tunnel or whatever place it was.
She opened her eyes and immediately closed them again because of the blinding light of the room.
"Oww.." her voice was horse.
Derek who was looking outside the window blankly immediately turns towards her and again turned his attention outside. He knew it was probably his illusion. He had imagined thousands of scenarios of how she will wake up, who might be with her at the moment. It has been two whole months and she was still in her deep slumber. Sometimes he wanted to shake her awake. And he was so near to do that if the nurse hadn't stopped him.
"Owww.." her little hoarse voice just like her, again came but he didn't bothered turning towards her. He has heard these voices many times but whenever he happily turned towards her thinking she woke up he only met with her pale face and sadnes
Irsa who finally adjusted her eyes to the now dim light looked around and her eyes settled on Derek.
He's looking sooo beautiful.
That was the first thought that came in her love struck mind. The sunlight shone on his beautiful face making him more handsome. But his face was cold.
"D...ugh..." her throat was parched. And it hurt when she spoke.
"D..uhh.." it really hurts, her hand went to touch her neck thinking if it was in place or not.
When she made sure that her neck was attached to her body she again tried.
"De..ughh.." her small hoarse voice was only heard by her.
Big fat tears came in her eyes as she pursed her plump lips and her cheeks were sucked in before she let them out with a loud.
"Ahhh....."
Tears rolled down her cheeks as she started to cry horribly.
Her throat hurt but she continued to cry loundly that would wake up the whole castle.
Derek was startled by her crying voice. He looked towards her and saw her crying her eyes out. Her little form dressed in a white simple night dress, her small legs folded on either side as she sat in the middle on the big bed.
He couldn't believe his eyes for a second. He was so happy that he froze at his place, a single tear rolled down his face.
She was finally awake. My Angel.
He practically ran towards her and engulfed her in a strong solid hug.
"Thank God... I missed you soo much." a tear rolled down his face.
