Ava got off the car when Alex pulled up in front of the place he promised to take her to. The Cobra's Headquarters. Her mouth gaped in awe at the scale of their headquarters. "What're you staring at? Come on." He held out his hand for her to take and led her into the building. His subordinate welcomed him warmly as if the head of the family finally came home from work. It might be headquarters but the atmosphere made her like home. She noticed some of them staring at her, specifically at their hands. Ava tried to pull her hand out of his grasp but instead of letting her go, he intertwined their fingers. "Don't mind them," Alex whispered to her ear, taking her mind off from the stares and whispers around them.
