"I managed to get a hold on some information about Clarissa Maximillian." The person on the other side of the phone informed the moment she accepted the call. Her heartbeat started to pick up its pace at the mention of the woman she had been searching for ten whole years. Am I finally meeting her? Is she safe? What about her son? What if something bad happened to her?
All sorts of bad thoughts started to run amok in her mind, the worry and anxiousness slowly affecting her. "Ava? Are you okay? Can you hear me?" the words snapped her out of trance as she tried to compose herself, refusing to let Wayne notice that she's shaken. "I'm fine. Is she okay? Where's she? Can I see her?" she bombarded him with multiple questions, not giving him enough time to answer all of them.
"I don't know if she's actually there at the moment but she's last seen at Bourneville."
"Bourneville? Isn't that where the Phoenix headquarters is?"
