The last bell finally rung, my last class felt like it would never end. Only good thing about this class was that Alex had it with me. She slugs over to my desk as I'm packing my bag, "Do you wanna go to mall get a recharge? After that class I need a double shot expresso."
"I wish I could but my parents asked me to come back right after school, they said they needed to talk to me and were acting really weird even for them." I tell her as I scrunch my nose thinking how weird they been acting. I gather my bag and Alex and I start walking to my locker. "what do you think they gonna talk to you about? I mean you can't be in trouble about something right? I mean your little miss golden girl. oh I know the triplets framed you for something!" her eyes light up as if she just cured world hunger. I just laugh at her, "oh come on Alex like those three could frame me for anything," we both start laughing. The triplets and I where very close. They always hang out with Alex and I, I think mostly due to Ruston crush on Alex. They where only a year older then us but act like they are younger. They where popular too, I mean they where three alphas who where on the football team been playing varsity since they where freshman. One of them could have been team captain but they didn't have the maturity leave for that plus got into too much trouble for the couches liking.
I put away my books from last class and take the ones I need for homework tonight. I turn to look at Alex who just look bored and tired. "I'm gonna go find the triplets and head home before parents find more to talk to me about, I'll see you tomorrow," I say as I close my locker. "yeah good luck with that, although with Konrad driving you make it back before they even notice your late," she lets out a small laugh, "call me after and let me know what happens." She turns and walk to her locker to put away her book from last period. "will do!" I call after her. I turn to walk to the exit hoping the boys are already in the parking lot, when I notice two people near the exit. Its Ashley and Rydel, 'great perfect' I saw to my self. I take a breath and continue forward.
"Come on Rydel let's go have some fun, I can show you a fun time," Ashley states in what I guess should be a flirting tone but just sounds like a dying cat. I roll my eyes, Ashley had fun time with many guys in the school. she had bottle blonde hair with her roots showing, a spray on tan, and long fake nails. This girl was just all fake and perfect for Rydel I really hope he takes her up on her offer then maybe he leave me alone. A lot of girls in the school thought that Rydel was just 'sooooo hot' their words not mine. Sure he was built he was an alpha and on football team but he had squinty eye's that where a dirty brown and gave me chills everytime he looked at me. Then there was his hair... I'm not sure if he was try going with the messy just rolled out of bed look but it didn't work for his sandy blonde hair.
I quickly picked up my pace, trying to get passed before he saw me. A hand reached out and caught my elbow, "where you going in such a hurry doll face?" Rydel asked me with a dark look on his face that made my skin crawl. "Home. Let go," I said quickly trying to pull my elbow away. "what no kiss good bye doll face?" he responds completely ignoring the fact I'm trying to pull away. Ashley stomps her foot and growls not happy Rydel has completely ignored her and has given me all his attention. If looks could kill I'd be six foot under by her stare alone. "No but I'm sure Ashley here would love to kiss you all you want," I tug my elbow again, "I on the other hand rather you let me go." Rydel pulls me closer to him I can feel his breath on my cheek, my stomach turns 'im gonna be sick.' I feel my wolf pacing and growling not liking his hand on me or how close he now was to me. She wanted out... she wanted to rip him apart. Rydel opens his mouth as of he was going to say something when a loud voice cuts him off, "LET HER GO!" Konrad voice comes out powerful and fierce. "I heard her say it twice dude, that's twice too many times," Ruston growls and by the tone of it his wolf is very close to the surface I wouldn't be surprised if his eyes where glowing and fangs where out. "So let her go before we make you," a third voice said, had to be Solon. I've never heard them so angry. Rydel whispers for only me to hear, "soon doll face," then releases my elbow. I look him in the eyes, he has a smug look. "Never" I growl low. By this point Ashley already been scared off my all the alpha waves floating around. I spin on my heals and storm out the doors I can feel my brothers right on my heals, I don't slow down tell we reach the car. Konrad the first to speak, "you good?" I release a relaxing breath and force a smile, "yeah, if he wants a neighboring alpha I would break his nose." I chuckle at the thought. "I don't care if he's the price of England, next time he grabs you like that I'll rip his throat out," Solon throws out with a dark angry look on his face. Ruston throws his arm around my shoulders and smiles, "don't worry sis we will make him wish he never meet you." I look up see the honesty and truth in his words. "You three will do nothing. You so much a bump him and we can have a war on our hands. Bloodrose pack is always looking for a reason to go to war with anyone. and you three will not give them a reason. understand?" I look at all three I used my alpha waves to get my point across. yep I'm the youngest and a girl and my alpha waves are stronger then these three. I'm pretty sure if I was born male I could take on Carter for alpha title. All three lower their heads and mumble an agreement. I didn't like doing this to them but they can be so over protective that they would start a war just for me. "now let's go home, dad and mom have to talk to me about something." we all climb in and the ride home is silent, I know they are pissy because their baby sister gave an alpha order to them, big babies.
We finally pull into the driveway and I climb out and race to the pack house. I was late, really want my fault but still late is late. Luckily the pack house wasn't to far from our house normally we be living at the pack house but with five kids, let's be honest the triplets alone, my mother thought having our own space would help the pack. I race inside and up to my father's office. Thanks to being a wolf I wasn't winded or tired. I knocked on his door and waited for him to say enter. The rule was at the pack house he was Alpha and mom was Luna and we were to treat them as such. "Enter" my father's voice came threw the door. I opened the heavy door and keep my head down, "Alpha, Luna you asked for me." I greeted them with respect and keep my head down to show no challenge. I heard a throat clear from corner of the room. I look up to see Carter looking at me like he was waiting for something. I look at him dead in the eyes and smug look 'oh no he did not expect me to great him too and why was he even here' I thought. my wolf perked up to her he was not our alpha he was a challenge. The air in the room grew thicker as my brother and I battled for dominance, his face held no surprise. He was used to this kind of treatment for me, he knew I would never bow to him as alpha. "Enough! Serina take a seat." my father commanded. My wolf settled a bit but still on edge. she accepted my father as alpha but would always say how he isn't our true alpha and we have yet to meet our true alpha. I take a seat in front of my father and mother. Worry crosses their face then sadness then they look at each other and nod. My father leans back into his chair, "I know you are confused of why we asked you to come and why your brother is here as well." I just nod my head as my father continues with out giving me even a chance to answer, "I'll have your brother explain, since he will be your alpha when it happens and that is why I let him make the choice, even though I do not agree with his decision he is the future alpha and I must respect what he decides, as will you" my father face hold disappointment and sadness as he explains. I stir in my seat, this is not gonna be good. My wolf pacing in my head not liking what my father is telling us. My father nods his head giving my brother sets forward with a smug look and smiles at me. My wolf growls at his actions, he's too smug and that smile is faker then Ashley's tan. Carter stands infront of me and clears his throat as he begins, "Serina as your alpha" "Future" I cut in meeting his eye with a challenge. This boy got another thing coming if he thinks he can just claim alpha with me. He glares at me rage filling his eyes, "it is my job to decide the future for you as well as the triplets." I let out a growl 'he did not just say that to me' I start to stand my hands shaking with anger. 'WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS' my wolf is clawing to get out and fight. "Serina..." my fathers tone warns me. I sit back down waiting to for my brother to continue his crazy talk. "as I was saying as 'future' alpha it is my job to decide and luck for you, I already have." Carter looks me at me his smile faker then before and can I see almost sadness in his eyes!? I start to worry this can't be good.
"Alpha Ulric of Bloodrose pack has requested for you to mate his son Rydel, the future alpha and with the completion of the mating a peace treaty between the two packs..." he starts looking past me as he trails off. I feel my whole body shake, my nails lengthen, my eyes glowing filled with angry and rage my voice comes out not even close to human, "you did not accept." I can feel my wolf taking over run by rage and hate. I see my mother cower behind my father, my brother flinches but quickly recovers, "I had no choice but to accept a peace treaty is best thing for this pack..." My growl cuts him off. I can feel the fur starting to spread over my body. I was close to shifting and I know if I did I would have no control and kill my brother... the trader. My father bangs his hands on his desk, I turn to him and can see his wolf behind his eyes, "ENOUGH, SERINA WILL SUBMIT AND CONTROL YOUR SELF AND WOLF. NOW!" His voice was nothing but a growl. My wolf trys to fight it but knows he is alpha and his word is to be obeyed. I close my eyes and breath trying to calm my self and my wolf, once I gain a bit more control over my wolf I look at my father, "Daddy you can't let him do this to me! Rydel awful and not my mate, you know I want my true mate! Daddy please..." my voice starts to break I feel my eyes fill with tears as I plead to my father. My father sits in his chair, he lets out a sad breath and looks at me, "I'm sorry princess my hands are tied. You will mate with Rydel once you graduate high school and by then I will not be your alpha, Carter will. So it is up to him and he has made his choice..." my father voice cracks at the end and he shoots a glare at my brother. Carter fixes himself and stands tall, "true mates are rare what makes you think you even have one. think about it you will be Luna of a pack," he acts like that makes everything okay or I'd get excited. Shows how little he knows me, I feel hurt and angry, suck in a big gulp of air and turn to face my brother. My face is puffy from the tears but my eyes hold angry and loathing, "I'm not some title chaser, I was born an ALPHA! I do not need a mate to give me power and you... you are a monster and I will never accept you as my Alpha!" I spin and run out of the office. My wolf growling and clawing to break free. As soon as I make to the front doors of the pack house I let my wolf go not caring about my clothes tearing. My bones pop and change fur explodes around me as I race into the woods howling.
