(Serina Pov)
The morning rays peaked through Alex's window and slowly crepped up my face. I could feel the warmth of the sun, I just groaned. I didn't want to awake up yet. As I lay there thinking about everything that had happened last night, I felt something slowing climbing up my body. I lifted the covers and greeted by red light that looked as if they where on fire. "ALEX!" I screamed. She comes running into the room, fire ball in one hand and look of death cast over her face as she scan the room. I threw the covers down showing her the large snake that had wrapped himself around me, "Little help please?" Alex rolls her eyes, "Septer! you prev get off her!" As she finished her command the snake unwound me and slithered off.
Septer was a 10 foot snake, his scales where black as an endless pit, yet when the light hit just right, they would have a sliver glow. His eyes where a deep red as if they where a constant burning fire. Alex went to follow him out the room, at the door she stopped, "I texted Ruston asked him to grab your stuff from home and give us a ride to school." I grabbed the pillow and covered my face. School is one place I really did not want to go. Going to school would mean I had to see not only my monster of a brother but Rydel as well. Alex spoke again, "oh come on miss alpha. You can hide forever plus you got me and the triplets with you so no worries. And if they try anything I'll make them turn into the rats they are and we will feed them to Septer." I pulled the pillow from my face and looked at her. She wore a bright smile that lite up her eyes. The thought of Alex familiar eating Rydel turned mouse made me giggle. "Are you sure you want to feed that to Septer, we don't know where it's been or what it has?" I ask with a super serious face. she puts her finger to her chin and looks up as if she's thinking, "hmmm that's true... I don't that's fair to Septer to risk his life on something so vile." We both bust out laughing.
Once our laughter died down, I threw the covers off and got up. I walked to the closet where I kept plenty of clothes and got ready for the day. Alex's home was like my second home. Her mother loved me and thought of me as her daughter. I stay here more often then not. so the guest room closet had plenty of my clothes. After I got dressed I joined Alex and her mom for breakfast. Her mother never questioned why i was there, just fixed me a huge plate of food. She understood a werewolf love of food.
We hear a horn honk from outside, the triplets where here to pick us up. It's time to face my problems, I close my eyes and picture the blue eyes I dreamed all night about. Slight comforting feeling fell upon me one day I'll meet him I grabbed Alex's hand and we went out the door.
Once we got to school, Alex and the triplets would not leave my side. I felt loved and suffocated as I was about to tell them to back off Carter walked through the door with Seff on his heels. Carter walked right up to me, "Why didn't you come home last night? We were all worried about you." I rolled my eyes at his words. I can see in the corner of my eye the triplets giving him the death glare. "Like you even cared you spineless, heartless monster," I looked him dead in the eye. my wolf came to the surface, I was challenging him and I would not back down. He let out a low growl "I am to be your alpha, you will show me respect!" he said as he stepped closer. I growl back at him, "you will never be my alpha!" I can see Seff cower behind him as I say it. Raw, heated anger flashed across his eyes as I continue to challenge his authority. He let out a deeper growl, at that point I was pushed back and the triplets stood in front of me. "GET OUT OF HER FACE!" Konrad growled low followed by Ruston growl, "AND DONT TALK TO HER LIKE THAT!" Solon shoved Carter back, "get out of here before we make you, Carter." The way Carter's name left Solon mouth made it sound like Carter was the worst thing alive. Carter clinched his hands into tight fists, he growled at the triplets who returned his growl. I speak up from behind the triplets "leave Carter" I use my alpha command. Carter turns on his heels and walks away. Self hangs back and looks at me, 'I'm sorry. I didn't know he has already decided. I've been trying to tell him it's not something he should do. but he just won't listen to me." Seff was next in line to be beta. He always been Carter's shadow, always there but never speaks. I was surprised by his words and before I could respond he turned and ran after Carter.
As we watch Cater leave we see the principal heading our way. Oh no he's probably gonna get on to us about our little scuffle we just had with Carter. "Alex, Serina hello girls," he greats us quickly before turning to the triples. "Ah, Konrad, Ruston, and Solon just the three I was looking for. I need you three to come with me and show the new students around, two of which are in our grade." All three boys let out a long grown, "why us?" Konrad whinnies. The principal straighten his shoulders and clears his throat, "well that's simple Konrad because you three still have duty hours to work off. Now come on they waiting in my office." The principal walks off to his office and the triplets follow dragging their feet. I turn to my locker quickly switching out my books for next class before Rydel finds me. I follow Alex to her locker before we head to class.
(Jax pov)
Jake, Blake and I are sitting in the principal's office waiting for him to return. Jake and Blake are bickering back and forth about the best way to get information. They seem to finally settle on something, they turn to me with a mischievous gleam in their eye. I grown, "what?" They look between each other and then look at me, "well seeing that it's Friday, the best way to get information would be to have a party." Blake says plainly, but his eyes sparkle with excitement. Jake nods, "he's not wrong. I mean, it's a great way for people to loosen up and reveal things. Plus we could meet new people." I knew what they were asking, they wanted a party. We were the new kids and it was Friday. "Whatever fine" I growled, "but I will not be part of this party. I will hide in the bedroom, You and Blake can do all the work and figure out all you can." Just as Jake was about to respond the door opens, the principal walks in with three guys following behind him, "sorry to keep you waiting I would like you to meet Konrad, Ruston and Solon. They will be showing you around. They are in the same grade as Jax and Jake. If you have any questions at all please ask this fine young men. Now I hope you enjoy our school." with that we were all dismissed. Jake, Blake, and I get up out of our chairs and follow the three guys out the door. They all kind of look the same, I wonder if they were brothers. Once out of the office they stopped and looked at us, "so you're the new rogues that came to town?" the one the principal pointed out as Konrad asked. "yeah, what about it? I respond. I don't like being questioned or challenged and I felt as if both were happening at this moment. Konrad eyes me up and down "just stay away from our sister and we'll have no issues" he says in a flat tone. Their sister? so they are all related. "Look I have no interest in your sister so you don't have to worry about that I don't even know who your sister is," I explain. The one that was pointed out is Ruston then chimes in "stay away from Alex too she's my girl." "And your sisters name is.... so we know who to avoid," Jake chimes in. "Her name is Serina," the last brother said, if I remember right his name is Solon. Serina.... Serina.... her name wakes my wolf and I'm pulled. Why I was acting like this to just her name confused me. we chatted with the dudes as they walked us around the campus. we figured out they were triplets and they were pretty cool dudes. Jake and Blake invited them to the party, "you can bring your sister and Alex if you'd like," Blake ads. The brothers look at him with a glare in their eye. Jake quickly adds, "to watch after them make sure they're safe we're inviting everybody." The brothers exchange glances and nod "yeah that sounds cool," they stopped in front of a door "well Blake, this is your class my sister and Alex are in this class" Konrad tells Blake. I've noticed that after the short time spent with the triplets that Konrad is like the leader of three. "Just let him know that you're eating lunch with us and they'll lead you to where we eat lunch," Ruston adds. "Jax and Jake our classes is father down this way, come on." Solon throws over his shoulder is the brothers walk away. Jake and I just nod to Blake as we follow the brothers off to our class. It was gonna be a long day
