"Keep walking."
A female voice told me.
I was walking in the woods.
Nothing but trees and darkness all around me.
"Don't stop."
The voice said again.
As I walked I started to see a blue light.
I stopped in my tracks.
"Andreeeeeaaaaaa."
The voice called out to me.
The voice sounded like a female and almost snake liked as she drew out the words.
I looked around to see if anyone else was in the woods.
"Come closer Andrea. I won't hurt you I promise. Alllllll you have to do is touchhhhh me." The female voice hissed.
I stared at the blue light for a second before I started to slowly walk over to it.
"That's it. Just a little bit closer" the voice coo'd.
I stopped in front of the light.
It was floating on top of the a tree stump.
"Touch me Andrea. I will make you stronger. I will make you happy."
I reached out then pulled my hand back.
"Will it hurt?" I asked.
"Not at all darling. Go on. See for yourself."
I reached out again, closed my eyes.
And then...nothing.
I opened them and I saw me holding the blue light.
It looked warm like a happy dream.
I smiled and even laughed a little.
Then it started to spin slowly.
I looked at it in confusion.
Then it started to spin faster.
And faster
And faster
And faster
Then it disappeared.
"What happened?" I whispered.
"Where'd you go?"
I shook my hand a little. Then it reappeard.
I smiled.
Then slowly, it turned black.
My heart began to race.
It crept up my right arm and touched my face.
I tried to run but it was like the black light was holding me.
I pulled my arm a couple of times until I got free of the darkness and ran.
"YOU CANNOT RUN FROM ME! I WILL FIND YOU! AND I WILL MAKE YOU STRONGER THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!" The female voice yelled.
"AHHHHH! MOM HELP! NATHAN! BARRY?!" I screamed.
I kept running until I saw a tall figure in the far distance. I stopped leaning against a tree.
"Nathan? NATHAN!" I called out.
I started to run towards him.
"NATHAN WE HAVE TO GO! THE DARKNESS IS TRYING TO KILL ME!"
But he just stood there.
I ran up to him trying to hug him but when I tried to wrap my arms around him, he disappeared.
I looked around "NATHAN! NATHAN WHERE ARE YOU?"
When I turned around I saw the darkness.
I tried to back up but tripped on a broken tree trunk.
I fell. My back hitting the ground.
I looked up at the darkness
"I told you love, you cannot escape me. I'm inevitable. I'm inside you and you cannot run from me." The female voice said coldly.
The darkness grew and started to spin again until it charged at me.
It touch my body and started to spread faster than I can blink.
It went from my legs to my shoulders.
I started to hyperventilate.
"STOP!"
"STOP!"
"STOP!"

"Dre. DRE! ANDREA!" Nathan screamed as he shook me.
I sat up quickly, breathing heavily.
Nathan tried to grab me but I pushed his hands a way.
"Dre it's okay. Relax." He said softly.
I relaxed a little.
"What happened?" I asked.
"You were having a nightmare. You kept screaming 'stop.'"
I stared at him blankly.
"What were you dreaming about? Do you want to talk about it?" He asked.
What was I dreaming about?
"No. I can't remember it anyway. I need to go" I said as I stood up to put back on my shoes.
"Do you want me to drive you?"
"No I just need to grab my phone out of your car." I replied.
"When are we going to do research about you past. We need to figure what you can do exactly." He commented.
"Nathan" I said softly "it was raining last night you got into a fight and then lighting hit the ground."
"Your seriously still in denial. Look I know what I saw, you saw it too, hell I think the people in the diner saw it. A man flew into the diner window."
"It doesn't matter Nathan because no one is going to believe you." I said harshly.
He got up and limped towards me.
I tried to walk away but he grabbed my hand and turned me around.
"Why are you acting like this. Last night you—"
"LAST NIGHT, NOTHING!" I screamed.
He stiffened.
"Why can't you leave me alone? You're crazy, batshit crazy!"
He just stared at me his Adam's apple bobbed up in down.
"Unless it's about the project I don't want you near me. Your sick. Absolutely delusional.... Believe what you want to. But remember it's your word against mine and if you tell anyone you'll look crazy." I said and he let go of my hand.
We stared at each other for a few seconds until he said..
"I'll open my car so you can get your phone." He grabbed his keys off the dresser and walked-limped passed me.
I followed him outside.
He clicked his key chain and the door unlocked.
I quickly retrieved it.
When I got closed the car door he quickly locked it and went inside without a word.
I tried to turn my phone on.
Great. It's dead.
I decided to walk back. If I could remember the way back home.

After two and a half hours of walking and taking some wrong turns I finally made it home.
I went straight upstairs to take a long shower.
When I got out I put on some pajamas and put my hair up in a ponytail.
I laid on the bed for a few minutes trying to forget everything that happened last night and this morning.

Who the hell is that?
I went downstairs and stood in front of the door.
"Who is it?" I asked.
"The police" a deep voice boomed.
My heart began to race.
I slowly unlocked and opened the door.
"Seriously Barry!" I half shouted.
He laughed "I'm sorry but I'm starting to love messing with you."
"Ha ha ha" I said sarcastically.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Seriously Dre?"
I looked at him confused.
"Save by the bell mean anything to you?" He asked.
Then it hit me.
"Ohh right! I forgot sorry come in." He walked in and went straight to the couch.
"Make some popcorn will ya?"
"On it" I said while going into the kitchen.
I went to the bottom cabinet and grabbed two bags of popcorn.
I heated them both up and put it into one big bowl.
I walked into the living room.
Barry grabbed the bowl.
"So how was your day so far?" He asked.
"If I'm being honest not good." I replied.
"Why what's wrong?"
I know Barry is my best friend but for some reason I don't want to tell him about everything that happened including this morning.
"Nothing it's just one of those days." I simply answered.
"How was your not-a-date with Nathan?"
"It was...whatever I guess. We were right about him all along."
"I'm sorry to hear that" he said sarcastically and I gave him a look.
"No I'm not." He said and I laughed.
I put my head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around me.
"I'm glad everything is back to normal."
"You're saying it like something has changed."
I forced a chuckle.
Then someone opened the door.
"Dre I'm h— oh hey Barry" my mom said as we turned around.
"Hi Ms. Alston. How are you?" Barry asked ever so polite.
"Absolutely drained I think I'm going to hit the hay tonight."
"Okay mom if you need anything like dinner or—" she cut me off.
"No it's okay honey I'm just really sleepy, remember to lock up later." I nodded and went back to the save by the bell reruns.
After an hour Barry and me called a quits. He went home and I locked up.
I went to my room to do some more of the project. And tried to forget about last night.
