Chapter 1 - She hasn't have the best childhood

There lived a girl who is called Rosesnow, and she always dreamed of being an artist. But she hasn't the best childhood, and she draws to help her to cope. Her father wants her to marry him when he is already married, and she wears men's clothes on top of women's clothes so her father can stop attacking her. She was outside of her house, and she was drawing a picture. When a man walked over to her, and he saw what she was drawing.

Rosesnow looked up, and she didn't want to hide the picture at all as the man asked. "Can I have a look at that picture?" Rosesnow nodded her head, and she gave the picture over to him. The man was blown away by the picture, and Rosesnow's mother strolled outside of the house. Rosesnow kept her head down, and she didn't make eye contact with her mother. Rosesnow's mother recognized the man, and she spoke. "Hello Gaston, how are you, and what brings you here?"

Rosesnow looked at her, and her mother said. "Rosesnow, this is Gaston, and he is an artist as well as an art teacher. Gaston, this is Rosesnow, and she loves to draw as well as explore while drawing." Gaston can tell that Rosesnow has something in her, and he announced to Rosesnow and her mother. "Rosesnow, why don't you come to my house? And I can teach you everything you need to know about being an artist. You are allowed to come back here when you want to, and you are allowed to have contact with your family if you want to."

Rosesnow thought about it, and she replied. "I will be happy to come to your house to learn how to be an artist and to get away from here as I don't want to spend another night in this house. Even though my mother would object, when will I get another chance to be an artist like this again." Gaston knew that Rosesnow's father doesn't care about his wife as well as his children, and he doesn't even listen to anyone at all.

Rosesnow's mother knew that Rosesnow wants to get away from her father, and she (Rosesnow's mother) didn't argue. Gaston took Rosesnow to his house, and he gave her a bedroom as well as a study. Gaston introduces Rosesnow to his family and the servants. Rosesnow became friends with Gaston's daughters, and Rosesnow told them what is going on and why she is wearing men's clothes on top of women's clothes.

Gaston's daughters are called Jane and Mary. They couldn't believe what Rosesnow had to go through and had to put up with. Rosesnow enjoyed her time with Gaston and his family. Gaston helped Rosesnow to draw buildings, flowers and animals. Jane and Mary gave Rosesnow new clothes to wear. Rosesnow's father has no glue where Rosesnow is, and he still thinks that she is at his house. Gaston's wife is called Isabell, and she has welcome Rosesnow into the family.

Rosesnow stayed with Gaston and his family for four years. The King ordered Gaston to come to court, and he could bring someone with him as well as his family is allowed to visit them. Gaston sat down with Isabell, Jane, Mary, Rosesnow and Tom, Edward, and Henry. Isabell has treated Rosesnow as a daughter, and she has listened to Rosesnow. Tom, Edward and Henry have treated Rosesnow as a sister, and they totally understand why she is wearing men's clothes on top of women's clothes. They teach her how to bow with a hat on her head and without a hat. Rosesnow prefers to wear a hat on her head, so no one will know that she is a man, not a woman, and she hopes no one will ask her any questions.

They looked at Gaston, and he spoke. "The King has ordered me to come to court as I can bring someone with me, and my family are allowed to see me as well as the person who is coming with me. But I want to ask you all first, and then I will decide who will come to court with me." Rosesnow knew that her father wouldn't be at court, and she hasn't been at court either. Tom stared at Rosesnow, and he added. "Why don't we let Rosesnow go with father and let her enjoy things more while at court. Am I right that you haven't been to court before?"

Rosesnow was in shock, and she shook her head as she replied. "No! I haven't been to court before, and I know that my father wouldn't be there at all. But I hope that no one will inform him that I am there and not at home. Because I don't want to get beaten nor being tortured by my father." Gaston, Isabell, Tom, Mary, Edward, Jane and Henry were shell-shocked to hear what Rosesnow has just made known.

Isabell held Rosesnow's right hand, and Jane held her (Rosesnow) left hand. They can smell fear from Rosesnow, and they knew that she doesn't want to go through what she had to go through all over again. Gaston knew that Rosesnow is telling the truth, and he suggests. "Well, Rosesnow, why don't you come with me to court, and I will ask if you can have your own room so you can draw as well as paint."

Rosesnow couldn't believe her luck, and she affirms. "Is it alright with your family that I go to court?" Isabell, Jane, Mary, Tom, Henry and Edward nodded their heads as Edward acknowledge. "We have been to court before, and you deserve to go. We will make sure that your father doesn't go to court while you are there. But there is something that you should know, and it is concerned about your parents and your siblings." Rosesnow looked at Edward, and she asked. "What do you mean, and is there something that I haven't been informed about nor what I haven't been told of?"
