Isabell took a deep breath, and she inquired. "Your parents are not your real parents because you were brought to your parents when you were only a baby as there is a war going on. Everyone in this country has informed us that the King's ministers told the King not to help either countries that are at war, and one of the countries is where you came from." Rosesnow felt someone has gone into her chest and ripped her heart out.
Gaston allowed Rosesnow to leave the table as she was about to faint, and she quickly marched to her bedroom. Rosesnow lay down on the bed, and she knew that Isabell is telling the truth. Rosesnow also knew that there must be a reason why her parents haven't told her where she came from, and she wants to know why her father wants her to marry him when he is already married. Rosesnow calms down, and she strolled back to the table.
Jane and Mary knew that she had some time to let the information sink in. Rosesnow sat down, and she took a deep breath. Rosesnow looked at Gaston, and she announced. "I will go with you to court but on one condition. That you have to tell the King that I am a man, and my name is Philip. Only you and your family are allowed to call me Rosesnow in private. Let's hope that his Majesty the King does not found out what my real name is and that I am a woman, not a man."
Gaston nodded his head, and he replied. "I totally understand, and I accept your condition. Let's hope that we can convince everyone that you are a man, not a woman, and you are learning to be an artist." Rosesnow sighed with relief, and Mary, as well as Jane, knew that Rosesnow didn't want anyone at court to tell her father. The following day, Gaston, his family and Rosesnow went to court. Jane and Mary were allowed to show Rosesnow the bedroom that she will have. They helped her to put her belongings and her art materials away as well as up.
Rosesnow places a tripod easel up near a window as she can see the garden as well as another building. Rosesnow took a deep breath, and she slowly released it. Jane and Mary knew that Rosesnow was feeling nervous about coming to court. Rosesnow got some paintbrushes on a table, and a cloth as well as a towel. Jane and Mary cover the trunks that had women's clothes inside. Rosesnow took a deep breath, and she stared outside of the window. She let the breath out, and she carried a chair over to the window as there was a knock on the door.
Jane opened the door, and Gaston, Isabell, Tom, Edward, and Henry walked into the room. Mary knew that her father has been welcome to court, and he has been shown his room. Gaston saw Rosesnow starting to draw a building out, and he strolled over to her. Gaston saw a building, and he saw that Rosesnow was getting the outline of the building down on a piece of paper.
Rosesnow got the details of the building, and she adds the foreground as well as the sky. Rosesnow finished her drawing, and she looked at Gaston as she asked. "Is this okay, and can you show me how to transfer this drawing onto the canvas?" Gaston nodded his head as Rosesnow stood up, and he showed her as he drew the picture on the canvas. Rosesnow closely watched how he drew it on the canvas, and she knew she had to paint it. Gaston knew that Rosesnow has to remember the colours to give the painting some life, and he wrote down the names of the colours for the building on a different piece of paper.
Rosesnow used colour crayons, and she got the colours that she will use to paint. Gaston realizes that it is getting late, and he turned around to his family. Tom knew that it is getting late, and he spoke up. "Now that Philip and father are here at court. I think that we have to leave them be and come to visit them when we can. We have to be careful about what we say and do. We don't want to get Philip into trouble, and we get punished." Henry, Edward, Isabell, Jane and Mary knew that he is telling the truth. They left Gaston and Philip (Rosesnow) alone as they head back to their home.
Gaston left Rosesnow on her own, and he went to his bed-chamber. They had food brought to them, and Rosesnow knew she could start painting after breakfast. Rosesnow made sure that the door was shut and the curtains closed so she can get undress in private. Rosesnow prayed before she got into bed, and she falls fast asleep. However, she didn't know what would happen to her, and she has no clue that the Queen is not in love with the King as she is in love with another man. Furthermore, she has no conclusion that the King will find out that she is not a man, and he will have an affair with her.
The following morning, Rosesnow got up before everyone else, and she quickly got dressed as she does her hair up in a bun. She places a hat over her head to cover her hair, and she flung the curtains wide open. Philip (Rosesnow) got the paints ready, and he wrote down the order so he can paint in order. He had breakfast in his bed-chamber, and he let Gaston into the bed-chamber. Gaston was impressed by how Philip (Rosesnow) got an order to paint, and he started for him.
Philip (Rosesnow) watched carefully, and he took over from Gaston. Gaston back-off, and he saw that Philip (Rosesnow) is in his zone. Philip (Rosesnow) paint the grass in light lime green as well as dark moss green and paint the sun in bright lemon yellow.
