The sky was dark outside as there were no stars, no clouds, but a crescent moon in the sky as it shone over a very dark and old looking Castle in the midst of a thick green forest.
The Castle was lit by several torches that were placed almost everywhere.
The sound of footsteps could be heard as a group of men walked past into another hall of the Castle.
"Is he awake?" asked one of the men as he had blood red eyes, and so did the other men.
"No, he has been asleep for a while now, I doubt he would wake up anytime soon" replied another man.
"Alright then, no visitors to him" replied the man as the others nodded and he turned to the right and continued to walk down that path as he reached the end of the hall and he pressed a loose brick on the dirty old stone wall as it opened up for him and it opened a staircase that led down as he walked down those stairs and he reached a metal door as he pulled it back and he walked into an outer room as he opened another door and he entered into a darkly lit room with a bed as there was an old looking man sleeping on the bed as the man nodded, he turned around and closed the door, walking back to where he came.
The man on the bed slept soundly, until his nose twitched and he suddenly got up from his bed as he stood up and he looked around his room with his dark brown eyes and his fluffy white hair, his face wrinkled. He walked to an arm chair beside a burning fire place as he sat down in it and he closed his eyes until he heard sounds of movement.
"Who goes there?" asked the old man with his eyes closed as he heard no reply and the room was as quiet as ever, he could only hear the sound of the fireplace popping.
The man waited for a reply as he received none, he took a deep breath as he opened his eyes to see two a pair of dark blue cobalt eyes watching him from the darkness.
"What are you doing here?" asked the old man as the pair of dark cobalt blue eyes followed him with precision.
"Answer me Azazel! I know that it is you" said the old man as he did not sound like he was happy with the silence.
"I came to say hello" said Azazel with a menacing smile on his face as he walked out of the shadows, his hair darker and his eyes as well.
"And since when did you start coming to see me? We do not have that kind of relationship, you know that" said the old man as Azazel chuckled and he walked to a table as he picked up a mirror and looked at his reflection as the old man watched him closely.
"I doubt that you came to greet me without informing my guards and coming in without permission" said the old man as Azazel dropped the mirror on the table and he walked closer to the old man.
"You are right, I am not here to say hello" replied Azazel with a smile that was far from friendly.
"Then why are you here?" asked the old man as he felt a chilling tinge run down his spine, he could feel that there was something dangerous about to happen.
"Tell me, how long did you think that you could trail me without me knowing" said Azazel.
"I do not know what you are talking about" said the old man.
"Liam, Bruce, Hunter, all rogues, all your boys that you sent to me, just to watch me and make sure I did all the dirty work for you" said Azazel with a scoff as the old man remained quiet.
"Don't pretend like you don't know the truth Atticus, don't play dumb" said Azazel.
"Azazel, you know that we vampires are the true rulers of this all, you witches are nothing but extensions that went out of control" replied Atticus.
"Oh so you admit that you tried to use me?" asked Azazel.
"You are not all that special, if anyone could do what I wanted you could" replied Atticus as Azazel smiled and he nodded his head.
"Well you were wrong, if anything this world has no place for vampires, imagine living for centuries, you should be tired of living by now" said Azazel with a smile.
"What are you trying to say to me Azazel?" asked Atticus.
"Your time has expired in this world Atticus" said Azazel with a smile as without warning a sharp long blade came out of his hand as he thrusted it straight into Atticus' heart as Atticus gasped and he could not believe what had happened.
"You did not dare kill me" said Atticus.
"I already did old man" replied Azazel with a smile as he laughed and blood dripped from Atticus' heart to the ground.
"My men will not allow you get away with this, they will fight you and your witches" said Atticus.
"Well they already did, and they now know who their new leader is" said Azazel as Atticus could not believe that his plan to get rid of all the witches would turn on him like this.
"You lie, my children would never betray me" said Atticus.
"They did, remember you are an old man, you do not belong to this century, say goodbye to all your plans to end the witch race, if you thought you could use me, then you were mistaken, I do not allow myself to be used by anyone" said Azazel as his eyes glowed for a second as he turned around to walk away.
"What… what about the girl?" asked Atticus as Azazel stopped walking and he turned around to face Atticus.
"I will kill her, and then get what I want" replied Azazel.
"You will never get away with this" said Atticus as he started to look as if the life was being drained out of him.
"I already did, die well Atticus" replied Azazel as he scoffed and he walked away as Atticus started to gasp for air, as if he could not breath and he started to dry up as his skin withered until he was gone with a gruesome expression on his lifeless face.

"*Gasp*" gasped Annie as her eyes suddenly shot open and she sat up straight on her bed as she heaved and she tried to calm down her heart.
"Annie, are you finally awake?" asked Maddie with a smile as she walked out of the bathroom but her expression changed when she saw the panicked expression on Annie's face as she heaved.
"Annie, what's wrong?" asked Maddie in worry as she rushed to Annie who looked at her.
"Maddie, Maddie, Maddie" called Annie.
"Yes Annie, I'm here, just calm down, take deep breaths and tell me what's wrong" said Maddie as Annie nodded and she took deep breaths as she calmed down.
"What happened?" asked Maddie.
"Maddie, I had a dream, and It was so real… everything was just so…" said Annie as she kept on pausing.
"Atticus is dead" said Annie.
"What… how? Wait a minute, this makes no sense" said Maddie.
"Atticus is dead… and Azazel killed him…" said Annie as Maddie could not believe what she was hearing.
"Wait a minute, you saw Atticus?" asked Maddie as Annie nodded.
"And you also saw Azazel?" asked Maddie as Annie nodded.
"And Azazel killed Atticus?" asked Maddie as Annie nodded.
"And you saw all this?" asked Maddie.
"Maddie it was so real, but it was like I was spectating, seeing a memory again, and it was just so horrific, Azazel and Atticus were talking about some things which I couldn't hear and then Azazel thrusted a blade through Atticus' heart and he died, he died, right there…" said Annie as she could not even understand herself.
"Alright, wait Annie, calm down, let's go, we have to talk to Aunt Stella and Curtis right now, you need to tell them what you saw" said Maddie as Annie nodded.
"Annie are you calm?" asked Maddie.
"I'm fine… it was just… a lot… and a bit scary to be honest" said Annie as she sighed, she had calmed down already, it was just a dream.
"I can just imagine, but right now, what really worries me is that you mentioned Azazel and Atticus together, so there has to be something very important that we are missing here, go and get ready we are going to have to talk to Aunt Stella and Curtis right now" said Maddie as Annie nodded and she got out of bed and walked to the bathroom as Maddie sighed.
Annie could never get a break now could she? It was just not fair, always one thing after the other.
