"That's what I saw Aunt, and it really scared me" said Annie as she sighed and she looked at Stella who just looked like she was even more worried as she said nothing.
"What are you thinking about Stella?" asked Curtis as he snapped Stella out of her thoughts as she looked at him and then at Annie and Maddie.
"Well I cannot lie that this does not bother me" said Stella.
"I mean, up till now, we have not heard or seen anything about Azazel, among most things he has been very quiet, and we have been unable to find just where he is" said Stella.
"But with this, I mean with what you saw, everything has of course changed" said Stella.
"Aunt, can I say something?" asked Maddie as Stella looked at her.
"Of course dear, go ahead" said Stella with a smile.
"I mean, I don't know if you remember Aunt, but back in Kadama, in Azazel's camp, there happened to be some rogues there with him" said Maddie.
"That is true, but they escaped along with him when he attacked" said Stella as Maddie nodded.
"If Atticus Is the father of the rogues, then it means somewhere somehow, he and Azazel had some kind of agreement for him to allow his rogues work with Azazel" said Maddie.
"And so if Azazel killed Atticus, then it means their agreement has ended" said Maddie.
"You are very correct my dear, that might be it, but for Azazel to kill Atticus, they must have had some sort of falling out" said Stella.
"I am just surprised that Atticus was actually still alive, and Azazel ended up killing him" said Annie as she sighed and she shook her head, even though she could still remember all the horrible things Atticus did to both Athan and Demanda, she could not just still feel a bit sad for him.
"I feel like Azazel has gotten himself into a lot of trouble this time, he can't just kill the father of the rogues and expect to get away with it, this would probably start a war between him and the rogues, which is good for him, I hope he dies" said Maddie.
"Not too fast Maddie, you are wrong about that" said Curtis as everyone looked at him.
"And how come?" asked Maddie.
"Because you forget that this is Azazel we are talking about, if anything he always plans his steps accordingly, and if he decided to kill Atticus, then it meant that his death would not affect any of his future plans" said Curtis.
"Then what about the rogues??" asked Maddie.
"Either one of two things happen, the rogues can leave and go away never to be seen again, or they might pledge their allegiance to Azazel and he will become their sole leader" said Curtis as what he said made Annie shiver just to think about the possibility.
"That would just be horrible, if all the rogues accepted Azazel as their leader" said Annie.
"That is true dear, just horrible" said Stella as she sighed.
"Well there is still a lot that I need to find out about this, because up till now Azazel has been very quiet" said Stella.
"But you girls can go now, when I find something I will tell you" said Stella with a smile.
"Alright Aunt, see you" said Maddie as she smiled and she stood up as Stella smiled at her.
"Bye Aunt" said Annie with a smile as she stood up as well.
"Bye girls" said Stella with a smile as Annie and Maddie walked out of her office and she sighed as she looked at Curtis.
"What do you think Curtis?" asked Stella.
"Well if Azazel has not made any moves against Annie till now, then it means he's busy planning something" said Curtis.
"That is what I fear most, that he is planning something deadly, and we are here in the dark unaware of what he is doing, and I am afraid we will be caught off guard when he finally decides to strike" said Stella as she sighed.
"That is true, but the person I really think we should be worried about is Selene, that woman's intentions are not clear, but what is clear is that she is nothing but pure evil, even more evil than Azazel himself" said Curtis.
"Just one problem after the next, but you are right, Selene is just very dangerous" said Stella as she sighed.
"I have to ask for a report, I want to know where exactly Azazel is, because it is clear that he is still in the borders of the Witch Realm, or else the other Realms would have alerted that they have seen him pass through their borders" said Stella as Curtis nodded, this was going to be even worse than last time, Stella was sure of that.
…
"Matt what's wrong?" asked Annie as she looked at Matt who was frowning.
"I mean, I am worried about you Annie, are you sure thar you were just seeing a memory?" asked Matt as he looked at Annie.
"Well yes, it was a memory, I wasn't physically there, I never am" said Annie.
"Why do you keep seeing memories like that?" asked Matt.
"I don't know, ever since I got my powers back, I have just been seeing memories, not mine but of other people, first it was Atticus, Athan and Demanda's memories, and then now, I'm not sure whose memory I was seeing" said Annie.
"Did you ask Curtis about it?" asked Matt.
"I did, but he doesn't really know why I keep seeing them, but it doesn't harm me in any way, it can just be a bit unsettling at times, and that's it" said Annie as she smiled.
"Hmm, I don't know, maybe it's doing some unseen damage that you don't notice" said Matt as Annie laughed.
"You are sweet Matt, it's nice to know that you worry about me, but I am fine" said Annie as she smiled and Matt looked at her.
"Are you sure?" asked Matt.
"Of course I am silly, very sure, thanks for worrying about me" said Annie with a smile as she gave Matt a kiss on the cheek and he smiled.
"Hello, hello" said Ollie with a smile as he walked into the library.
"Hi Ollie" said Annie with a smile.
"Hey dude" said Matt with a smile as Ollie sat down on the couch in the middle of Annie and Matt as they made some more room for him.
"Where is Maddie?" asked Ollie carefully, he wanted to know how many seconds of peace he had before she arrived.
"Well she's with her mom, don't worry, she's not coming here anytime soon" said Matt as he knew what Ollie was thinking.
"Oh sweet relief" said Ollie as Annie laughed and she shook her head.
"So what are we talking about?" asked Ollie with a smile now that he knew he could rest.
"Azazel" replied Matt.
"What about him?" asked Ollie.
"I saw that he killed Atticus" said Annie.
"The father of the rogues?" asked Ollie as Annie nodded.
"Oh well, that will change everything then, it's either the rogues all disband and run away, or they follow Azazel as their leader" said Ollie.
"That's the same thing Curtis said" said Annie.
"He is right, and it can be two of those options, either way, we just have to be ready, Azazel can come with a vampire rogue army this time, and that won't be pretty" said Ollie as Annie agreed with him.
"And the Chancellor can't really try to do anything to stop it" said Ollie.
"And why not?" asked Matt.
"Well the High Council still blames her for what happened at Kadama, since it was her idea, they blame her for the waste of resources, time and space, and even though we managed to get all the opposition witches, they still blame here" said Ollie.
"So she really can't do anything drastic at this point, her hands are tied, and if she insists, I am afraid that she might be removed from position of Vice Chancellor" said Ollie as Annie sighed.
"I didn't know that it was that serious" said Annie.
"Oh it is, most High Council members blame her for putting emotion before duty, they believe that she's making the wrong decisions with Azazel because she is close to you" said Ollie as it made Annie feel sad that Stella was passing through all of this just because of her, and she never even once mentioned it.
"And what do you think about it, is she making the wrong decisions because of me?" asked Annie as Ollie looked at her.
"If you ask me Annie, I don't agree, I would tell everyone to just get to know you, because you are not dangerous, and if anything, you are the one that needs to be protected the most" said Ollie as he smiled.
"So cheer up, because I know that the Chancellor won't ever give into their demands" said Ollie with a smile.
"I really hope so" said Annie as she sighed.
