Chapter 3 - Ch 3: Energy

In a room that is dimly lit by blue lights, the entire room seems to have a slight glow to it. Especially from the liquid that is pooled on the floor below the observation deck.

"Wow, this is completely useless." Spiro says looking at the Nuclear reactor which is completely in ruins with fluid all over the reactor room floor.

The fact that the casing is cracked open and the android body inbuilt Geiger counter is receiving high amounts of radiation makes her realize it's only the lead casing around the room keeping it from leaking out into the planet outside.

"We need to start repairing this while we figure out some other sources of energy." Spiro says knowing that the reactor should have been able to last easily another 5000 years more if it was in working order.

"The emergency Hydrogen cells." Spiro says quickly looking at the ships energy panel which shows the status of the reactor and other sources of energy throughout the ship.

Spiro turns those on knowing that it should last the ship till the plethora of nano machines get the Reactor working again and if not it buys her enough time to have the solar panels deployed.

"Right, the power is settled for now" Spiro says looking up watching the reactor visibly put itself together.

"Is my printing chamber still working? This body needs an overhaul." Spiro wonders to herself aloud as the speaker that is in her throat allowing her to speak gives out with a rather loud pop. Suddenly the robotic body drops limply to the ground.

'Great, well I guess I should also get the fabric printer working so I could have clothes once a new body is constructed.' Spiro thinks as she transfers back to the ship's main computer and appears in her virtual command room.

"Wha-" Spiro says, stunned silent by the number of nanomachines on the planet. Even some of the most populated and highly trafficked planets in the galaxy did not have this amount.

"Wait, does this mean the communication array is working again?" Spiro says as she the working sensors show it on a holographic screen which appears in front of her.

"Oh, that's really busted. We could maybe bounce it off the Ionosphere and receive or send transmissions from anywhere on the planet." Spiro says looking at the data presented to her.

"They don't have interstellar capabilities, There isn't even a radio station on the planet." Spiro says to herself, shocked.

"If that is the case I don't think the scrappers that stole my memory tower were able to leave the planet with it. Let's start putting any extra data we have into searching for my main memory tower." Spiro says to herself.

"Right, now I need to see what information I have on my current drives." Spiro says to herself knowing that knowledge is power and she needs to know what she has at her disposal.

"Right, most of earth history up until the 21st century. Along with most designs for everything invented in that time period. There are also other bits of information involving earth being…. That's not possible earth could never have been destroyed." Spiro says removing that data point from her current main drives.

Suddenly there are pings in the virtual command room as the printer and the new memory storage device are finished.

"They finished that quic- it's been 2 days?" Spiro says in shock realizing that memory across the spare drives and the crews personal computers gave her a lot of information to work with.

" Right, do I have the resources for me to make my body?" Spiro asks herself
