After a few days I saw that the packs along with the Minokawa members start hunting in the forest, the Minokawa fly in the sky and guide the wolves to the prey then the Wolves will attack after the Minokawa blinded the prey. What kind of wolves are they?! they can easily snap an animal`s neck trice as large as them, and with Minokawa in a perfect sync with them hunting never been this easy, I am sure if human hunters sees this they will be jealous.
"Don`t over do hunt, I know it becomes a game with the Minokawa and Abyssal Wolves helping each other in the hunt, but over hunting will only hurt us in a long run. Anyway dried up the bloods of the newly hunted foods." I said and soon another thing pop in my head. "We need ingredients, I am bored eating salted meat all the time." I said and Santa then show me a goat like creature.
"Your Majesty, are you talking about this?" Santa said and I nod. "Great we could start tending to those goats, as a livestock, is Abyssal forest have chickens? I want chickens too, anything thing that we could raise to the farm we raise. It`s better if we have enough food supply even if drought came we have supply." I said and soon an Abyssal Wolf is carrying a chicken in his mouth it`s dead though.
"Alright, make a barn for this creatures, found out what they are eating and stock them all up." I said and they all nod and busy themselves again, I look at the little puppy. "Do you know where we can find beans? I want to make soy sauce." I said and he nod, wow he even know what beans is, I am sure those pet lovers would be jealous of me having a pet like this.
"Alright, let`s go hunting." I said and get on his back, and we dash away, of course Marina is also riding in other Abyssal Wolf, after a few minutes we reach a place on the edge of the Abyss forest.
If I remember it correctly Abyss Forest is in the middle of the Human and Demon continent`s side, that is also why demons and humans don`t fight often in this world, because every time they need to go to war they either try to pass the Abyss Forest or walk around the forest, and both are hard and time consuming, this forest is really a great barrier stopping the both side going to war, but of course little skirmishes always happen.
"Is that a farm?" I asked and the little pup nod, when I look at crops there is corn, rice, and many more, but what I am interested is not those, but the fruits and the herbs they have.
"By the looks of it, their crops is not that great, they get a little bit from the farm." Marina said and I nod, I could also see that, soon from our direction a young human see us, and I could see fear in his eyes.
"Why are their scared to us? Did they find out that we came from the dungeon?" I asked but Marina shook her head. "Sir we are riding on Abyssal Wolf, not to mention they saw us coming out from the Abyss Forest, legends said that a single Abyssal Wolf can turn a city into nothingness, not to mention this little town, they are brave to still stand there petrified and even some of them holding weapons although shivering." Marina said and I nod and go down from the this little pup.
"Hello, we are not the bad guys, we just came here to buy some crops from you." I said, luckily I wear my face, or this humans will get scared much more, by the looks of it, this town only have weak soldiers and farmers. "Take whatever you want!" An Old soldier said, this people really are scared to us, and I think the little pup and his minions and also Marina don`t like the tone, so I stop them before they attack.
"Calm down old man, we`re not planning on harming your little town, just as I said we are here to buy some crops from you guys, can you call someone with authority in the matter?" I said in a matter of fact tone, this humans is nothing but a foot soldier and also farmer, as I remember, there is a process when they sell their crops.
"Call the Town Mayor now." A person at the back said, this person look`s tough those scars on his face and arms tells me that this man has a story, a warrior, to be exact a veteran warrior.
Soon a foot soldier follow this man`s word and run to the most distinguish house on the town, how can I see it? simple we are standing at the hill. soon a chubby man walk from the crowd the bow to me.
"Good adventurer, I am the Mayor of this small town, how can I help you?" He asked, his also scared, maybe going on this side truly is a bad move, next time I`ll go to the other side, the demon`s side. "Do you have authority to sell your crops to me and also the seedlings?" I asked and he raise his head.
"I have the authority on that matter great Adventurer, may I asked what do you want? We have variety of crops here." The Mayor said and I look again and smile. "I like everything, from the crops to seedlings, I can pay you with silver or gold or meat from the Abyssal Forest." I said and order the few pups to hunt few little animals from the forest and they are all happy to oblige, now that I think about it, meat from the Abyss Forest are pretty pricy, In Michael`s memory he only eat few grams of Chicken and Rabbit meat from the Abyss Forest and he pay a hefty sum.
"We take what most easy for you to pay Great Adventurer." The Mayor said and I nod, soon few dead animals are here. "Three Rabbit, Three Chicken, and also two pieces of small gold and big silver, I think that`s enough for all your crops and seedlings right?" I said and the mayor happily nod, I give it to them and the mayor prepare big basket and the town`s people help to put it in there, I smile and nod.
"Treat your people with the golds and silvers, and sell the meat to the nearest city, to preserved those meat you need to drain their blood first and sell it as fast as you could, I will soon visit this place again, if I know that you wronged those farmers, then you better go to different town, because this little puppies at my back loved meat more than anything. You do understand what will happen right?" I said and put all the basket in back of the Abyssal Wolves and I look back again, the mayor is already color drained.
"In two week`s time prepare some kitchen utensils for us, as many as you could and also farming tools, of course we will pay, we don`t like robing someone after all." I said and the Mayor nod slowly, I hop on the little pup`s back and look at the town.
"Till we meet again... Mayor, Town`s folk and also soldiers we will go now, enjoy your little party, don`t worry about the creatures from the abyss forest I will send few Abyssal Wolves to guard the edge to make sure no creatures from the Abyss Forest will harm your little town. Also nice doing business with you." I said and leave them all hanging, of course I will make sure few Batibat is with them, Batibat is great on watching people from the sidelines, specially when they are in spirit form.
Now that I think about it, watching the Mayor would be great also, greed always there, with the money and the Abyssal Livestock I leave, if his greediness reach a certain level, I don`t mind taking him out, I will not let anyone threaten my domain after all.
After we got back on the Undead Dungeon, I put our spoils on the ground, and they all look at the crops and the seedlings.
"I want the seedlings re-planted, and I want you to store the crops, we will not eat salted meat from now on." I said and they all cheers from that even the wolves look happy, I am sure they are also sick eating salted meat.
